Jiggalicious ananda082001 What race is your character Jiggy? My main is an ogress. A paladin. I quiver just thinking about doing the Betrayal ever again. *laughs* Right now I'm playing an iksar dirge, though. smile What did you play? I was a Kerran, you know, the cat people? Since I had never played a MMORPG before, I wanted a simple class, like a fighter, and the Kerran race was a good balance of being well suited to the class and being pretty. biggrin

Sryne Yeah... I thought about making a fake me under my covers and sneaking into her room just across the hall, but I don't want to risk it and have her not allowed her again. I played EQ2 at a friends house once, never got off the newbie island though, just ran out of time. Played SWG for a bit at his house too, it was cool but had too many bugs for my liking and the balance was way off on a lot of stuff. I got into WoW for a while, played over 550 hours in 1 1/2 months (yeah, I'm that big of a loser), but I need the monthly payments for gas right now, at least until I can find a job. I tried to play SWG once. It just couldn't get into it. I hated the controls and how they just dumped you in the middle and said "There you go, figure it out." xp I liked that EQ2 had a newbie training level. I had just gotten off the island when I had to stop playing. sad

I'm that crazy number crunching kind of gamer, so I always find entertainment in people picking a race for aesthetic reasons.
And then I think about the likelyhood that they have a life while I'm at home planning out how to optimize my power every level. stressed

The guys prefer I play her...but then I'm the only regular player of a tank. *laughs* I like to play her because the guys all play chicky characters. I also have more fun RPing her, and the guys get a huge kick out of it. Mostly because even though I'm good, I'm still an ogress.

Honestly, I think I spend at least half as much time number crunching as I do actually playing. It's such a sad life I live. Now, mind you I still enjoy having a kick a** looking character, but I still look for the best stats that still look cool. So, so sad. cry

Someday, I'd like to either start playing EQ2 again, or check out the new D&D Online and finally get to use a character I've never been able to actually use, but have become very attached to the concept of. She's a half-Drow, Chaotic Good Thief class. I've even imagined an entire back story for her and everything. I hope I get to use her someday.

You'd mentioned her in Bringer of Dreams, correct?
I love creating stories for characters. My name actually comes from one of my RPG / RP characters. Sryne Soulscriber. His class changed from place to place, but he's always a quite person who dislikes society. As often as possible I've put him with a wolf companion named Max. The story behind the two of them is pretty cool--to me anyways.

I heard scary things about the DnD RPG. I think I'll just wait for Neverwinter Nights 2...it's probably going to be good fun.
smile Y'know we could always get a group together in something we all have sometime. That might be a hell of a lot of fun.
Heh, also, I'm not a min-maxer, or a looks player. I know how to do the min-max but I just...like to play. I do check out how to work things to my advantage, but I have to say I love the backpedalling folks who stop and say all sorts of odd things to my ogre.
I helped this one gent over tells one night and when I finally met him he told me I was the strangest paladin he'd ever seen. Totally worth it.

I used her very briefly in a Bar/Club RP in one of my other guilds. I eventually got tired of the RP not really having a storyline, but it was useful in helping get a little experience RPing and fleshing out some of Aria's back story.

Yeah... I don't often put Ogre and Paladin together.... that's like my friend and I always joking around about a gnome pally. Defender of Justice, with his "long sword" and "shield" which pretty much amounted to a button and a sewing needle.
Ah, the jokes we had with that one.

I might start something in BoD if you're interested? I thought about it before, but I dropped the idea for what seemed like lack of people at the time. I didn't want to end up RPing with myself. So yeah, if you're interested I'll come up with a storyline and such and a general direction for the RP to head in.
