"Hey, is there a spare seat open?" Melody smiled holding up her tray with a shrug.

Melody set down her tray happily, "You haven't changed a bit," she smiled, "did your horns grow a few inches or did I just choose the wrong day to not wear my glasses?"

She blinked again, rubbing her eyes to ensure clarity, "Wait.." she paused as she turned away from Kai.

"Demona?! Are my eyes deceiving me?!" She asked in surprise.

Her lips parted as she gave a look of confusion, "Did I..interrupt something important?"

She glanced at Demona, clearly not too happy to see her friend after so long. But why was she? They hadn't been able to speak to each other in months and was upset after they didn't hext for a couple of hours but now it was as if she didn't care if she had been stuck at the maul for an entire month. She still wouldn't notice her friend gone. What happened?

Then she glanced at Kai, clearly trying to say something before Demona could make an abrupt departure.

"I could...leave if you both wanted some privacy..I didn't mean to intrude."

"Look at her over there, actin' all innocent." Lin grumbled, his knife filled mouthful of haggis all but forgotten as the tiny gremlin stared across the crepateria at the ghoul, one of two students whom he blamed for attempting to sabotage the SKRM team. "Actin' all innocent but I know better!"

Gryff, Atomica and Cassandra each turned their heads just a bit to glance briefly at the ghoul Lin was clearly paranoid over, before returning to their lurches.

"Everybluddy knows only the guilty can look so innocent!"



The funny thing about being stared at? -- It makes you feel as if someone is staring at you! Weird how that works out, isn't it?

Across the creepateria from where Estrella was seated, Lin was staring hard at her from the "kewl kid's table." He pointed two claws at his eyes, then towards her own, letting her know after what happened in the catacombs, he was keeping an eye on her!

"I can look into it for you, If you want I mean." Cassandra still felt out of the loop, Now was her chance to fix things. "Prove 100% that she did it." Cassandra wanted to say 'or not' but knew that wouldn't be best. "If not I will find out who did, but I would never doubt you." that last part was a bit of a lie, normally when Lin strapped anything with cords hanging out of it to her head. She doubted him. When Lin would say 'Its not HIGHLY explosive' She would doubt him. In fact half of the twos interactions was filled with him saying 'its fine' and her doubting it. But in this situation. She didnt, not truly. She wanted to find out who commited what Lin was now referring to as 'Treason'

"Yes, Yeah I would love to. Would I have to help you pick out what to wear?" She smiled softly straightening the tie he was wearing now. "Are you still indecisive as ever?"

Rory's Glen-stomach rumbled. He was absolutely starving after that SKRM practice! After bowling head-over-hound into the rest of the practicing SKRM team, Rory had discovered that Glen's body was...just fine! The only issue was an overwhelming hunger and craving for...

"Mystery Meatloaf!" Rory grabbed two helpings with relish. The meatloaf hissed. Rory made sure his plastic knife wasn't within grabbing distance of the loaf.

"C'mon, Glen, we gotta....Glen?" Rory looked around for his cousin-in-his-body. Glen was uber-scarefully picking his way around the creepateria, trying to avoid any bodily contact with anything. Rory sighed a bit. Even HE wasn't that over-clawtious! "Grab your lurch and sit down so we can talk!"

Finally, the two of them found a spot to sit. Rory wanted to talk about some things before Chase sat down (he was stuck in line trying to find out what to eat, apparently they were out of bagels) or Draconia got back and started asking him odd questions about dating.

"So, I was thinking...." Rory told Glen between giant, ravenous bites of Mystery Meatloaf. "Maybe we don't need to be in SUCH a rush to reverse this curse. I mean, I'm sure we'll be able to find a counter-charm for it after school...or tomorrow..."
