Yeah you all get outta here so I can love on Sokoya. To the victor go the spoils and all that.
Just need one of you virgins to tell me what a deck-building card game is before you leave. Apparently it's not a CCG, so I really have no idea what it is at all.

The best deck-building card game on the market imo is Dominion.
You should be able to score it for cheap if you wanna give it a try, or use an app on the mobile phone market.
But basically you start with some gold, and some points cards, and you use the gold to buy cards from a community pool. These cards can do stuff like give you extra actions during your turn, more money to buy cards, or make others discard s**t from their hand or give them curse cards.
You can also buy cards that give you points, however these cards have no use to them unless paired with other cards in your deck that say so.
Every time you buy a card, it goes in your discard pile which is shuffled back into your deck when you run out of cards to draw from.
You discard your hand at the end of every turn and draw a new one.
At the end of the game if three (I think) card pools are bought up, or the highest scoring card pool is empty, then everyone goes through the deck they built and counts up the point cards they have. Highest wins.
I think that is about right, I usually get roped into playing it while drunk as s**t.

Yeah, pretty much. When I first played it was at the Embassy last year at Gencon, nine Gins into my evening. I had refused to play it prior to because of the d**k sucking everyone was giving it and how it was DA BEST GAME EVER HOLY ******** s**t AAA GAME OF THE YEAR and how I was somehow missing out on a core part of my life.

PP is releasing a deck building game called High Command. I just... don't know if it'd be any good. It's gonna be a twist on deck building ( I guess ) where each player has their own deck representing 1 of the 4 faction in the kit. ( Cryx, Cygnar, Khador, Protectorate )

This is what we're going to do. If that third judge doesn't get here by Wednesday, we'll decide it then by adding up me and Sokoya's scores and we'll go by that who wins.

Oh dear lord v.v I thought Sokoya saying Tuesday was a stretch, and now we wait until Wednesday for a judge to arrive and if he does get here we add another 3 days minimum, with an expected 7 and a possible 10 for unforeseen errors or them just quitting mid job and throwing us into more chaos. And for what? None of us know! Some pride in having three judges or some crap when the entire list of participants that have spoke up so far have pleaded for us to just go with the two judges.
Meh, whatever, I feel better now. My main annoyance isn't the waiting aspect of this anyway, it's the random need for a third judge which could result in a tie anyway based on scores.
