MISSION- Fossil Fraud

It seems there's someone in the Johto region selling fake pokemon fossils. From his description, it sounds like he's a Legendary Brilliance Gang peon. Track him down and put a stop to his scam. (You will face one LBG peon with 2 fossil pokemon)

The had given me a job, I had to put a stop to, a gang member to the Legendary Brilliance Gang, I heard that this person is a peon, so he may be hard to beat, and I found out that he is all the way in the Johto region, so I started my journey, off from HQ, quite well, I saw budding young trainers battling, and pokemon all around, after a while I got on my bike and thought, why don’t I just bike it to Johto it would be faster than walking, so I got on my bike and began to pedal, I went into the water on my bike and it dived in, but I could still peddle and move, I saw a sharpedo hunting its Feebas pray, I noticed some trainers underwater having a battle, one using a Corsola the other a goldeen, the Corsola used a spike cannon, which nearly hit me, so I peddled faster, I noticed that, some of the pokemon started to change after a while, I didn’t see any wailmer, but I saw some Mantine, and quilfish instead of Feebas, that’s when I knew I must be getting close to Johto, I surfaced, and saw that I was in a lake close to blackthorn city and dark caves which I remember as my cousins home.
I walks on for about a few minutes and I hear, loads of people and there cheers and then I hear some one shout ‘Get your pokemon fossils here’ and knew I was in the right place, I scrambled to the front and I saw that he had many painted rocks lying on the table just the rocks had drawings on, I demanded for him to stop selling fake fossils and every one was surprised, so he said that if I have a battle with him, If I win he stops selling and will go away, but if he wins I go away and he can go else were and sell without any one bothering him, so I agreed to his challenge and then he said we would have the battle on a water and land field, so he took me to a part of the field which had a lake but some small islands on each side, and then the battle started, it was going to be a One-on-One battle with two pokemon.


“Come on out, Omanyte” The guy said “And my name is Richie, of the Legendary Brilliance gang, and im a Peon” He said with a smirk, “Ok well then, I choose you Carvanha” I said, making use of the water on the field, Richie’s Omanyte was first to attack with a Constrict attack, but Carvanha dodged and used a bite attack on Omanyte’s soft fleshy, tentacles, which made a mark in the Omanyte’s Health.

Carvanha: 100%
Omanyte: 80%

Carvanha was first to move, using a fast bite attack on Omanyte, but it was stopped by Omanyte that used Constrict, on Carvanha’s body, stopping it from attacking, “Great, You have forgotten about Carvanha’s ability rough skin, that hurts the opponent on contact” I said with a smile “Now Carvanha bite” I said hoping that Omanyte would lose its grip and It did realising Carvanha back into the water.

Carvanha: 90%
Omanyte: 60%

“Darn, I forgot about abilities” Richie said with a look of frustration on his face, “Ok Omanyte bash your tentacles on the water surface to blind the Carvanha” Richie said trying a plan, but Carvanha dived in the water just in time to dodge the tentacles, “Carvanha bite” I said and Carvanha bite the underneath of the Omanyte, but was then grabbed by the tentacles, of Omanyte and was thrown into the ground, But Omanyte was hurt by Carvanha’s rough skin.

Carvanha: 60%
Omanyte: 10%

“Ok, now Omanyte use constrict on the Carvanha” But it was too weak to stretch so far, and hit itself with its tentacles knocking itself out.

Carvanha: 60%
Omanyte: KOed

“This battle isn’t over yet” Richie said “Return Omanyte, Now come on out Lileep” Rickie said chucking his Pokeball onto the ground and a Lileep was formed from a white blob of light, “Ok, Return Carvanha, Go Shellder” I Said returning Carvanha and chucking, my shellders Pokeball out into the water, “Lets battle this is the final round” Richie said with a smirk on his face.

Shellder: 100%
Lileep: 100%

“Ok tackle shellder go” I said, and shellder lunged at Lileep, and smashed into it with a hard tackle attack, “Is that the best you can do use astonish Lileep” Richie said and Lileep used a scary and astonishing astonish attack, “Ha, that didn’t hurt my shellder, look” I said with a smirk on my face, Richie looked to see shellder using withdraw, so it didn’t see the attack, “Darn you, but that was only a warm up” Richie said annoyed about the failed attack.

Shellder: 100%
Lileep: 80%

“Ok Use another tackle attack” I said and shellder launched its body at Lileep but, it was blasted back by lileep’s Astonish attack, “Hummm… you may have stopped my attack but don’t worry I will beat you” I said, “Lileep, use astonish” Richie said, “Shellder, use withdraw then use tackle at the same time” I said and shellder closed its shell so It could not see the astonish ten launched itself at Lileep, damaging Lileep more because of the hard shell was used as well.

Shellder: 80%
Lileep: 50%

“Ok, now Lileep, use astonish” Richie said remembering the same way I used the attack combo before, “Ok shellder, dive then use a underneath tackle” I said, Lileep used astonish attack on shellder but shellder dived in time to evade the attack, then shellder raced under Lileep and used a tackle attack, knocking the Lileep into a giant rock, damaging it severely.

Shellder: 80%
Lileep: 30%

“Ok, this battle is nearly over” I said but Richie said it wasn’t “Ok shellder use your tackle attack” I said and shellder tackled Lileep, and Lileep, used astonish that made shellder back away, “Don’t worry shellder, use withdraw then tackle to finish this battle off” I said Knowing that this battle was over, “Hummm… Ok Lileep use astonish” But it was two late and the tackle made its mark, and knocked Lileep out.

Shellder: 70%
Lileep: KOed

“Nooo….. My Prehistoric pokemon” Richie said returning Lileep to its Pokeball, “This is just the beginning, we will return” Richie said before running into a cave. “Hey what’s that” I said seeing something, before jumping in the water and grabbing a fossil, “Hey I recognise this it’s a helix fossil” I said smiling, before getting out drying my clothes and saying good by to some people, I got on my bike, When riding into the lake I got here from and dived in.

I peddled, far seeing some water pokemon; I saw a Mantine and a school of remoraid, I peddled through a battle and nearly got hit by a tentacruels poison sting, and then before I knew I started seeing, Mantine and wailmer, so I knew I must be crossing the boarder, and into hoenn, I saw more of feebas and milotic’s, and then I hit land after a while, and knew I was home, and I walked the rest to HQ, Seeing trainers and pokemon battle, and knew that maybe that this fossil would soon be a part of my team.

((this mission took up 5 whole padges on word, My best record biggrin ))

*Is standing inside blown up door* I don't appreciate that. Besides, since you blew the door off, it's just a normal Aqua room. You'll never see my personal room! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

Oh, and I'm not just a human. *stretches wings out* Half dragon, half Tingle, remember?

Pass. Good job. If you wanted you could add some actions in HQ, saying how you got the mission, but its not a requirement. But I really liked how you started and concluded the mission and had an extremely descriptive battle. Couple things you can improve on are that you could give your opponents a little bit more of a brain, and in battles be a little more realistic. Shellder getting hit by an attack while its using Withdraw is going to hurt it a little from all the vibrations. Your call on that, but 2-5% seems good. And the farther up you get, you're Pokémon aren't going to make it out without at least 50% damage. Oh ya, and reread, because you used the wrong form of 'right' in your introduction. But all in all I enjoyed reading your mission. As such you can keep the money, fossil, and I'm giving you a rank up as well.

Pass. This is passable, but just barely. You had no introduction at all, you were just there at the lab. And there was no conclusion, you just left, and that was that. The battles... extremely short. You only did 3 moves in total. A good battle will have at least 3-4 moves per Pokémon. Are there exceptions, yes, but the probablility of both Hydro Pump and Guillotine hitting on their first times is 24%. Can happen yes, likely to happen no. A good mission should be fun to read, and the most I got was a Lord of the Rings reference for about 3 seconds. Your Pinsir can stay shiney, but you only get 400 PD.
