Tonight wasn't a good night for me to be cooking, lol. I kept getting boiling water everywhere, and then as I was pulling a tray out of the stove, I burned my arm. So now I have a nice thick red line where I was burned. o 3o

Pretty much the same kind of things you guys do on Independence Day. We have parades, fireworks, etc.
For instance, where I live we have a huge kids festival downtown with face painting and such, and tons of other events around town like a wood carving competition, then there's a huge event downtown with live music and such and a HUGE cake, then there's a parade and then the fireworks.

In our town, everyone goes down to the beach, get's drunk, blow stuff up, watch the 'offical' blowing stuff up show then all leave at the same time so the traffic is blocked up for like 2 hours.

for me all I do is buy Fireworks and shoot them off at night but not this Year because at one of my old churches is holding a Fireworks festival this year and me and my parents are going to it :3, and there going to have Sonics, Papa John Pizza and other stuff there biggrin

Just came back from the parade! We haven't been able to enjoy Canada Day as much this year because my brother is getting married on Saturday so we've been busy with that, but we did get to the parade at least, and we are definitely going to the fireworks tonight. We usually go out on our boat since the fireworks are fired off of a barge in the harbour and you get the BEST view from the water 3nodding

i moved to a new place, then proceeded to drink some beer and watch fringe for a bit. now i'm goin to crash in my bed even though there's fireworks. i'm exhausted.

And I'm sure I'll have lots of fun once I get past all the work I have to do.. lol but all my family is arriving at various times today so I'm STOKED to see them, especially my dad because I haven't seen him since October and he's been really ill since I last saw him.
