Emo kids use more of an upward angle to make them look thinner and show off the eyes. They take photos in either hella bright or hella dim settings and often pictures of their reflection because they have no friends to take their pictures and are to sad to set the timer.
For that reason most emo glamour shots are head shots.
Emo kids also scowl. Just like a black person never smiles in a photograph an emo kid must always scowl.

Goths on the other hand like close ups. Usually very close and high contrast and at least one cheesy Photoshop filter. They are known for taking photos of their eyes, lips, and hands. They are also very found of hisses and pouts for full face shots.
