there were tears in her eyes as she looked up at him, panting to catch her breath through the pain, but there was something in her look that would tell Reinhart that the tears were partially frustration mas well as pain.
He was doing a good job of throwing her around, and all she had to show for it were a few little scratches. "Why the hell don't you just finish me?"

[7] Sutiiven grimaced as the spirits came in. He couldn't dodge them forever, and they probably would torment him until Reinhart called them back - an unlikely event anytime soon. Well, drastic times called for drastic measures. The spirits closed in, and Sutii shifted as if to prepare for a move. But it was too little too late, as the first spirit stabbed into him, causing his face to display a look of shock as he felt the pain not of his physical body, but of his spirit, as if he had never felt such a thing before. And then another spirit hit him, then another, and another, leaving him nice and open for Reinhart's slash that would finish the fight. Or would it? As Reinhart came in, Sutii's look of shock instantly shifted back to a look of confidence - a slight twinge of pain was upon it, but nothing like before. The lad was quite familiar with spiritual pain. He was also quite familiar with physical pain as well. Quote: Energy Transfer: Sutiiven can force his body to allow for extra energy per turn, but at the cost of self-damage (Charge: +1/100 HP Sacrificed) (Spiritual Ability) With Reinhart rushing in to strike Sutii with his attempted final blow, all the lad had to do was time his motion's just right so that his open right hand would be completely thrust out at the exact moment before Reinhart brought the weapon up. Quote: Mega Flare: A dragon technique believed only to exist in fantasy, Sutiiven launches powerful beam of energy at his opponent. (Charge: 10 Turns) (Spiritual Ability) (1 Turn Recovery) With not a moment to spare, the blast of energy would launch out directly at Reinhart, and unless he had some sort of protective shield or way to miraculously dodge it, he was about to get thrashed by the beam head on. His spirits could not save him, as they were currently lodged within Sutiiven, as per the design of his trap. And if they DID try to save him, odds were that they were to be fried in the blast of spiritual energy as well. Even for Sutiiven, this was a crazy gambit to take, but hey, he would rather go down fighting with some crazy maneuver that didn't work rather than go down without giving his opponent hell.

Blood streamed down his face for an instance, like the rest of his wounds however it soon ceased. Rae asked an interesting question and Reinhart thought about it before responding. The response was simple, it was what kept him from obliterating her to begin with.
"You remind me of someone."
The rest of his thoughts were his alone as he was determined to figure out who this Rae really was and why she resembled his old friend so much. Slowly, intent, Reinhart walked towards Rae.

"HER again..." There was a touch of disgust in Rae's voice as she figured that he was talking about the same girl that everyone thought she was. "She sure gets around, doesn't she? Touched a lot of people..." stare
Rae winced and reached down to rip the stone spike out of her calf, before he had a chance to do something else to her. "Any chance you think I'm her as well, not just that I remind you of her...?" The blood on her leg matched the red stripes in her hair, and there was a hint of pain in her eyes as she looked up at Reinhart.

[Sutii]
There was no miraculous dodge. However, he did have a protective shield, it wasn't in plain sight but under his shirt he wore a breastplate. A very durable, very lightweight, enchanted breasplate. Sutii's beam covered the whole of Reinhart's chest all the way across, which luckily was takin in mostly by his armor. Sadly, the blast would burn a huge hole in his shirt and burn a portion of his abdomen and throat.
Needless to say the force would undoubtedly send him tumbling backwards like well....a tumbleweed. Protected from the concussive force and most of the blast it self Reinhart lay face first on the ground 50 feet away from Sutii. His guards had long since vanished and he felt his armor hum as it cooled under his weight. Covered in soot and dirt Reinhart pushed off the ground with both hands bringing his knee up to help suppport him.
He spat blood on the ground and felt the sting of his freshly made burns, his eyes were fixed on the gound and the blood that puddled slightly under him. Reinhart laughed softly, a laught that soon rose to loud and maniacal. His snapped up, his eyes fixed on Sutii, and he botled from the ground like an animal chasing a meal. In his wake he cracked the ground beneath him and his speed picked up dirt and rocks.
Within seconds he was upon Sutii. Throwing punch after a punch that boomed across the void like explosives going off. In his state Reinhart was faster, stronger, and more intent on beating Sutii to the ground than he had when they started. His arm cocked back and aimed for Sutii's stomach, the next one followed aimed for the right side of his face. Then another to the left side, his nose, his ribs, his chest, anything Reinhart could hit he would.
He moved quickly, struck with precision, and followed up with a series of kicks after he opened up Sutii with his punches. Again he struck where he found an opening and fit each kick behind the other like a zipper, they bound together perfectly. He followed the flow until he ducked slightly, spun, and thrust his foot upwards intent on catching Sutii from below and sending him into the air in an arc.
Unfortunately for Sutii, Reinhart would follow his ascent flip backwards and send him back to the ground with a devastating kick to his midsection. When Reinhart landed on the ground he'd fall to one knee somewhat depleted and dazed but his eyes wouldn't leave the site of Sutii's crash landing.

[0] Due to his temporarily weakened state, the lad could do nothing to protect himself from the onslaught that was unleashed upon him. He grunted and tried his best to steel himself for the incoming punches, bringing up his arms in futile attempt to shield his face from the carnage, but there was nothing he could to to stop them. He could have maybe tried to move out of the way of them slowly backwards, but Cris was far too fast for that to do anything but make matters worse. The blows struck hard and fast, each one causing intense pain to run through the lad's body, it was a miracle he wasn't screaming in anguish from it all. Of course, they were hitting him far too quickly for him to even register each new instance of pain before the next came in. If he had the time to think, he would have been impressed, the flurry of blows was somewhat akin to his own swift combos and onslaughts. However, all things must eventually come to an end, and Reinhart made sure to punctuate this event with a beautiful kick skywards, sending Sutii airborne. And this was followed by the coup-de-grace, the flip into a downward kick, causing Sutii to not so much fall as plummet. The force of his fall sent him crashing into the ground, rolling about for a bit. Had he been any closer to the ground when he received the kick, he probably would have made a minor impact crater. Dust and debris flew in the air, showering the vicinity with rocks and clumps of dirt. If Reinhart looked closely, he could see the form of Sutiiven lying there, face down in the dirt. He wasn't moving at all, and it looked as if he were knocked out. His clothing was torn, and his body was battered and bruised, bleeding from a few spots. For all intents and purposes, he had to be done. However... if one continued to look closely... they would see something unexpected. There was a sound. A moan, more than anything. The sound of a man waking up with the headache from hell. But this was not from a drunkard, this was from a battle beaten man lying in the dirt. And moving. Ever so slowly yet emphatically, the lad began to push himself up off the ground, with one hand, then the other, followed by one foot, and then the other, until he was on his feet. He stood there, body beaten, battered, and bruised, but his will remained unbroken. Defiantly he remained conscious and alive, making more of a statement than anything. He was in no shape to fight in his current state, but from the looks of it, that didn't matter. He breathed heavily, some blood dripping from his mouth, which he wiped away with his sleeve a moment later. The entire time, he was focused on Reinhart.

"No chance."
Reinhart told Rae as he slowly approached her.
"You aren't the person you remind me of,"
His blade sprung from under his sleeve slicing through the air with a click and sing.
"though I think you made in her image,"
Another blade sprang from the opposite sleeve, he was almost upon her.
"and until I figure out what you are..."
His voice trailed off as he srpang on her.
"...this won't end."
With his blades drawn he aimed to nail Rae's arms to the ground as he landed atop her inches from her face.

"You could be wrong..." Rea didn't know who she was, but she did know that she would not allow him to nail her down like some insect to a display pad.
The blades came down and the woman disappeared to be replaced by a small fluffy white cat, who was suddenly looking very confused! 0.0
With a yowl of terror the cat rolled back to her feet and dashed between Reinharts legs, she wasn't as fast as she should have been, the wound on her leg still visible in this form although it was odiously healing on it's own now.
Rae was terrified and confused even more than before... she was a cat?!!... How the hell could she suddenly be a cat?!! That just wasn't possible....but there was that tingly feeling in the back of her head that said it was more than possible, especialy for her!

[Sutii]
Whether it was pride that kept him upright or sheer will Reinhart was flooring Sutii again and again until he stayed down. Sutii had no way of knowing but like his psychic ability fire was also one of Reinhart innate abilities. Now, while burned he eased the pain away slowly as it hadn't taken full effect on him as Sutii would've liked.
Honestly, it was the reason he was still able to fight on with such ferosity. Under Reinhart his shadow stirred, it blackened, extended, and retracted like the dull beat of a heart. Reinhart sprang on Sutii calling on whatever energy he'd reserved and regained in the short moments it took for his opponent to stand once more. The gap closed instantly and with a defening roar Reinhart unleashed a devastating punch on Sutii's face.
The force behind the blow would be enough to test Sutii's balance if not break his jaw or send him into a spin. Immediately following the first punch there came a second from the opposite side rendering any reaction from the first void. Sutii should be facing Reinhart again and following the second kick came a palm to the chest. The same strike was mirrored on his back as if he was struck on both sides at once. If Sutii assumed or felt as he was being assaulted by two opponents he'd be correct.
It continued, Reinhart struck from the front, his shadow from the back, and both struck independently. Here it came again, Reinhart kicked Sutii up into the air, his shadow followed and struck Sutii down. There was a difference however, this time Sutii wasn't hitting the ground he was heading right at Reinhart.
Once within range Reinhart would catch Sutii almost all over at once as he employed one of his most powerful techniques.Cristopher Reinhart Soul Striker - Soul Striker requires intimate knowledge of one's own soul as well as the striker. By focusing on the link between both strikers the primary user can physically manifest the striker and exploit both it's size and or strength. An demonic image overlapped Reinhart, it towered over him as it stood five times his own height. In concert the image and Reinhart cocked their arms back and struck out at Sutii as he came toward's them like a falling star. When struck the image faded, but the massive arm that struck Sutii now was not so much Reinhart's as it was his striker. A fist almost the size of the man struck him with five times the force Reinhart could muster. If Sutii wasn't broken anyone would be surprsised.

[1] Had Reinhart stayed put for a moment, Sutiiven would have probably dropped a few moments after achieving his stance from exhaustion. However, instead of giving the lad a moment of time to let the adrenaline and defiant will to subside, he came in for yet another attack. This would only cause Sutiiven's adrenaline to increase, his will to become stronger. As he rose to his feet, he could see Reinhart out of the corner of his eye, able to see that he was coming in to finish the job that he thought he had finished an attack ago. His emotions now raging, the energy in Sutiiven's body began to circulate and flow more efficiently. While there wasn't much there, it was noticeable. However, it also seemed that his energy began to rise... Quote: Overdrive: Sutiiven unleashes his stored energy to Ascend to the height of his energy's potential, increasing his skills and abilities 50%, doubling charge rate, and unlocking new abilities. This can be activated at will, or due to an eruption of emotion at with no charge cost. (Spiritual Ability) The energy continued growing more and more quickly, causing the lad to glow with the energy flow. When he reached the maximum level of his normal energy potential, his body released a brilliant flash of light, stating that he had achieved Overdrive. When the flash subsided, Reinhart would clearly be able to see the lad standing there, glowing faintly. If he could sense energy, he would notice the energy within his opponent's body flowing freely and efficiently. All of this passed within the period of time between Sutiiven's standing up and Reinhart's closing in on him. And as he came for the punch to the face, the now emotionally charged Sutiiven to bring his arms up to block the first punch, then the second punch. However, with the attacking shadow from behind coming at him at the same time, he could not keep up the pace... A somewhat crazed look could be seen in Sutiiven's eyes. He was no longer running on normal thought processes. It was as if he was being commanded by sheer instinct and emotion. He was running on fumes, but he was forcing himself to go above and beyond any limit he had reached before. This was no longer a test of strength, but a test of endurance. The brutality of the attack continued, thrashing the man to a pulp. Even in his current state he couldn't prevent the inevitable. He was launched skyward, and then back towards the ground - and Reinhart's fist. The attack came, and with one final blow, the man was hurtled a fair distance away, colliding with the ground and bouncing around like a ragdoll across the ground, until he came to a complete stop... The energy of the Overdrive faded, denoting that the man was rendered unconscious. Status Exaustion(0), Overdrive, Countdown(5)

[Hono]
What did that remind him of all of a sudden? Ah yes, his first fight in Leviathan Stadium. He'd fought a woman whom also turned into a feline and avioded a lethal blow. Reinhart felt nostalgic all of a sudden but he soon repressed the feeling and turned to face the....cat.
Blinking in slight annoyance he 'sheathed' his blades and droppped down to one knee looking to Rae curiously. Hono was able to do that as well from what he recalled, as a matter of fact she'd slept on his bed once in that form.
Lost in thought he burned a hole throw Rae staring at her as if doing something so simple would bring him an answer.

All her fur was standing on end as the little white cat panted for breath and wondered what the hell had just happened.
One moment she was a person, the next she was a feline? How the ******** did that happen... stressed

Reinhart pressed a finger to his lips, it signaled he was thinking over something thoroughly. To him Rae seemed to be no threat and thus far everyone she did reminded him of Hono. There were slight differences of course but almost everything was there. Also, she seemed to be no threat to him at all, like she just happened to end up in the Void with him somehow. Maybe his earlier theory was incorrect, maybe no one had to lose.
Regret stung him but he quickly pushed that away and convinced himself that it was nescesary to test Rae the way he did. More and more he felt it was useless to defeat or kill the Hono clone known as Rae but he wanted an answer. A clone? That'd be interesting. With confidence he extended his hand plamside up and beckoned Rae to come to him. God knew she had good reason to refuse or be afraid but Reinhart failed to feel fear in front of this woman. Hono or Rae.

Rae slowly crept towards him, ears back tail down and despite the limp she was apparently still ready to dash away if he made a move towards another attack.
Rae did not know what she was trusting him, except that since he was the only other person here she didn't have much of a choice xp

Rae was aware of Hono from what Reinhart gathered. At least to the point where she knew there was someone out there that resembled her in every which way. However, whether Rae was just Rae or whether she was an image of Hono was unclear. Either way, fighting would no longer get him anywhere.
He turned his over and waiting for Rae to come within his reach before he'd stroke her from head to tail and smile.
"Who are you anyway?"
He whispered to himself more than Rae.
