I say "Innernet" when I'm lazy, and then I pronounce the first "T" very softly and quickly when I'm not as lazy.

I say "Intenet" when I'm talking fast, but otherwise I say "Internet".
Anyways, is it just me or is there anything wrong with Gaia today? I couldn't log in first, and when I have logged in, there's many "database errors" so I have to refresh the page all the time gonk

It's been suggested and shot down by Maya, who says that the guild is primarily language-oriented and a true off-topic forum would detract from that.
However, if you translated your posts into German, I could move them into the MLGD.

She may the the owner of this guild, but the fact that she is not ever here kinda makes is it seem silly for her to make judgments on how it should be. I think I've been around here for like 2 years, and only in the very beginning did I ever see her around at all. If anything, Eccentric Iconoclast oughta take over, because she is actually here doing stuff with the rest of us.
A single subforum for chatter would not detract from the 95% other percent of this guild that is still language oriented, and being that we are all linguanerds, a chatterbox area would end up with bunch of language related chatter in it anyway.
And besides, we already post off topic stuff anyway, focusing it to a single area might make the other areas a bit cleaner.
This guild seems to be slowing down quite a bit, maybe something like that would be good to boost morale and attract peeps.

I have to agree with Vajra. I don't think I've ever seen her around, and plus, it'd make this guild a bit more of a community. I mean, it already is, what with everyone going off-topic all the time and all. Why not test it out, give it a try? You can always close it again.

Well, you already pretty much run the place. Not that theres much running to be doing, since everyones cooperative around here generally. The thing is, since she is never here, whats the point of her making decisions about things? You are the one that does all the sort of stuff around here that the guild owner would do anyway, and it seems silly that you should have to answer to, or that decisions about this place should be made by someone who has nothing to do with it anymore. She should either start showing up, or give it up. And last I heard, we've got plenty of unused gold. I don't see any problems.

I agree with Vajra as well. It does seem as if the Guild has become a tad slow... Before, I could leave for about five minutes and come back just to find a new topic and a few new posts everywhere. :
Eccentric does visit here much more often than Maya... I haven't seen her post in oodles of time. [Or have I never? I know I've at least seen her older posts...]
