Veroen loosened his grip on his sword, taking it that there would be no fighting this night. He studied the man, for never before had he been this close to him.
"You are very right, on the not being able to trust anyone part. I sometimes read the HIN. it is good to know ones friend, ally, and enemy, before you actually meet them. Im not very prone to being surprised. i watch, i listen, and observe. That is part of the assassins way of life."
"But on another note, what brings you to the junkyard? and if you dont mind me asking, why arent you attacking me, if your with the hunters?" Veroen was curious to find out Kuros motives on being here.

"Because I don`t plan on making enemies tonight." He behind him, his squad perfectly hidden. "Are you familiar with Alasdair?" He remained turned around, as if in a rush to leave. "He`s planning on taking on the hunters, he has a chance to win." He raised an open hand, two heavily armed vampires came out from behind a junk pile, both suited with body armor, both ready for another command. "I want to ask you to join."

"Aye, i am familiar with Alasdair, and with his abilities. I have seen him, actually saw him just last night at Central Park, i was one of the spectators to the battle between DevilBoy, and Tokeru. upon seeing these people, I did my homework on them."
Veroen looked at the other men that appeared...
"Hmm...impressive..", he thought to himself, studying the heavily armored men that were before him.
"So your asking me to join you and Alasdair, with all of your men ready to commence whatever you tell them at your slightest call, to battle all of the Hunters in this wretched city...."
Veroen slightly smiled, flattered at Kuros request.
"I'm in."
Veroen also pondered something else...and decided to ask him.
"Just one question before i officially join you and your comrades in your cause: Why would you ask me?"

Kuro lowered his hand slowly as not to be mistaken for another sign. All four vampires gathered together and waited in the opening behind him. He finally turned back to Veroen, and smiled, "I know the value of an assassin." He took a step back towards his group, "We will call upon you when the time is right." He remembered something and felt stuipid for forgetting it, "You know my name, but I don`t believe I know yours."

He stood up, and watched the men disappear. He then pulled out a finely rolled Cuban Cigar, smelled its delicious aroma, then pulled out his Zippo with the phrase, "Audaces fortuna iuvat" engraved into its silver exterior. He then lit it, took a puff, then slightly smiled, and answered,
"You flatter me, Kuro. I am called, Veroen.
May you remember it, for i will remember yours."

Kuro took out his HIN communicator, for whatever reason, still not disconected from the hunter network, he typed a quick message to some hunters then made one more handsign. The four vampires ran to new posts, this time not focused on hiding, but on good places to lay down cover fire. "Want a little fun?"

He smiled again, for it had been so long since he tasted the blood of an enemy, having an idea of what he had in mind.
"Oh, you do know how to flatter an assassin." said Veroen, as he rested his hand on his sword.
"What do you have in mind? Though i already have a pretty good idea of what you intend..."

Veroen thought about it for a sec, wondering who the two hunters were...
"Not at all. Shall i disappear from view?", he asked calmly, which is the way he gets before he goes into battle, for it keeps him concentrated on his objective, and target.

"Not yet, I have to monitor them to make sure they`re coming." He made a quick signal, one of the vampires dissapears from view and begins to search the common areas for Amnity and Mephlius.

Veroen slightly nodded in acknowledgment of Kuro's desire. He quietly pondered to himself on the possible battle to come...
"When they are coming, i shall hide myself from view, and on your signal, i shall reveal myself, and whatever happens after that is totally up to you."
