paraphernalia_101 Seriously! I know, for my parking permit its like 260 dollars. Have any of you read gossip girl, I'm really into it right now and lost. um...I tried,and decided I liked using my mind while reading and if I wanted the crap that's in it I can just wake up like I do every morning and go to school. Not my cup of tea,kinda like twilight, too OMG!I'M NOT PERFECT blah crap. But I tip my invisible hat to you reading it,because you are brave and can stand that stuff and well I can't.You would get along with my 12 year old sister.

I tried reading Gossip Girl, but halfway through book two decided my time would be better spent suggesting it as the latest form of torture to the military. (No offense to you. >.< It's just not my thing. At all.)

GabrielleClearwater Hello! I'm a new Ravenclaw. My greatest strength is language and (fiction) writing. What makes me happy in life? Well, that would have to be life because without it there would be nothing to be happy-- or any emotion-- about.
Welcome to Ravenclaw! And it's cool that you're good at languages. My Ravenclaw brains definitely don't extend to Spanish.

Whoah...slew of new posts.
Ooh, Gossip Girl is... Well, it depends. XD I'm a fan of random medical shows, so I probably don't fit my interests into those slots too well, hahah.
Welcome to Ravenclaw, thrustkittycute and GabrilleClearwater.
thrustkittycute: I know what you mean! (Not the sister thing, lol. The Twilight thing.) But I think Gossip Girl is better than Twilight because Twilight is supposed to be fantasy--something interesting and exciting. Gossip Girl actually does carry some important themes within it.
Queen of Lace: Hahah, agreed! Spanish and Math are my worst subjects x.x;

Twilight's not fantasy. Really. I don't even mind Twilight, but the fanbase and the genre classification is kinda messed up.
I'm good at Math, Spanish, English... boring school stuff >.< It would be funner to have more interesting skills for suuuure.
I've never read/watched Gossip Girl. Is it actually decent?
(Oh! And I saw the link here in your signature, turayza =3)

Welcome new Ravenclaws! Yes, I can read horrible trash fiction. blaugh At least I don't read really cheesy romance novels. No offence to those who actually like that stuff. Sometimes, my brain gets tired of complicated stuff so I let it go to trash like gossip girl. It's alright, very simple and preppy. The show is better than the books actually, if you like that sort of thing. I'm amazed that gossip girl got so many reactions, actually I hated to read those type of books, it was the show that got me into it.
To those who are not so decent in spanish? You can ask me for help. I'm fluent in spanish and know my stuff. I'm a spanish minor so yeah...I'm spanish speaking native. But I have taken japanese, so I do know how hard a new langauge can be.
I'm actually supposed to be studying for my human anatomy and physiology first lecture exam for tomorrow but instead I'm on here and reading charlaine harris's vampire novels. Go procastination!!

Procrastination should totally be a major in university. I'd pass that with 110%. An example of such a study is like right now, when I should be doing my multiple assignments that are worth 30% of my final marks, but instead am on Gaia...not that I don't love Gaia. Para also appears to excel in the major of procrastination. That's actually quite un-Ravenclaw like of us...anyways, welcome to the house, folks. I'm actually not too old to this guild/house; probably a noob compared to turayza or para xd Question (you don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with it): What's everybody's GPA, if you're in the US?

It's okay if it's un-Ravenclaw like! We're not hardworking Hufflepuffs xP
I have a 4.1 GPA, but I don't know if that's gonna keep up with my awful English essay today sweatdrop I procrastinated on preparing for that, too...
I used to read Sweet Valley High a few years back. I don't know that It'd compare, but my mom used to laugh at me to reading that type of thing, but they're surprisingly enjoyable.

Pshh, 110% in procrastination? I'm dissapointed. There isn't a number high enough for what I'd get. xD My GPA is currently 3.875/4.0 because of Spanish. >.<

Lol, yeah. If there was a class for procrastination, it'd be so ridiculously high all my other classes could be failed and I'd be perfectly fine XD
Hrm, any good books anyone'll recommend? I'm so bored... Fanfiction doesn't update fast enough ><;
I have an unweighted 4.0, but I'm still in high school.
Lol, I actually feel like I'm accomplishing something in Spanish class! I understand Spanish movies now 8D It's like, magic. But hey, 3rd year in the class, I'd better have learned something. It's all the rules (conjugations and--in particular--imperfect vs. preterite) that gets me. -__- I'm glad I'm not taking French, though. At least for Spanish, what it sounds like is how it's written XD If I think about it, it'd be awful to learn English, hahah.
I think I suck so much at Math and Spanish because there are lots of rules, but not much explanation behind them. My favorite subject is science (: Phys and Chem *dances*

Really? Haha, procastination seems to be a common Ravenclaw theme. That is true we are not Hufflepuffs. My GPA is really bad. Ever since I went to university I started getting lazy and of course it got harder and harder. I have a 3.3 out of 4.0. I hate having such a low gpa, stupid hard classes. In High school it used to be 3.4-3.6/4.0.
I hate rules also! Math is my worst subject and I hate grammar. I'm good at psychology, I'm guessing its a social science?

Nobody expects you to ace college XD Jeez, when I'm out of high school, I'll be totally spent. -___- *will be stuck in school until 27 DX*
Definitely. Rules...psh. XD Psychology is fun (: Social sciences are always awesome...if you're not too lazy to think. But hey, we Ravenclaws are supposed to be the thinkers XD

Chem is cool! I'm in it now ^^
Really, history is the most amazing subject for me. Of course, I haven't been forced to memorize dates in a while, so that could affect it xP
Rules aren't awwwful. I'm pretty good at grammar, but Geometry is full of rules and I'm like *faaaaaaaaail* xP
Hm...good books? The only things I've had time to read are things for English >.< But Farewell to Arms by Hemmingway, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and The Catcher in the Rye by...someone... are all really good. Oh, and The Vampire Chronicles are pretty interesting 3nodding

My current Chemistry class is...the most boring thing ever. Except Biology--that's worse. -cough- I dunno, grammar is alright in English when you use it all, but...yeah, math is horrid. -eats- History is fun. (: I wouldn't want to do history-related stuff for a job, though, hahah.
I've read most of those... I'm looking for something fun and imagination-provoking. Doesn't have to be difficult material XD
