[Damon] I imagine that healers would be on stand-by in the arena, like they are in boxing and mixed martial arts fights. As soon as your opponent is critically wounded, the fight would stop and they would probably run out to treat him. However, I don't know if the GTB has any white-mages on staff... it all seems to be medicine/science used to treat the fighters. If that's the case, a medical team probably wouldn't be able to save somebody right there on the field if they were really, severely wounded. And the chances of them being DOA to the medical ward would be really high. As is, a strike that is fatal in the short-term, is just as bad as an attack that is fatal on the spot. And would probably be illegal. We have magic. I just haven't explicitly mentioned it. Basically, Ty, as long as you don't kill the character immediately in the fight, especially with the intent to kill in the first place, then you don't get penalized for it. As long as they can't move anymore, it's your fight. Then the medical staff runs in. There's a fine line between accidents and intentional killings, however. That's why people who bring in deadly weapons needs to be wary on going for pin-point shots.

Say, if I were to slip several serpents into a chest cavity and explode them right around the perimeter of their heart, it wouldn't be against the rules because technically, it's not my fault where they positioned their heart organ, no, no?

Vintrict Valentine dropped out of the tournament. Wondering if I should give Benjamin a free bye or fight him with another one of my NPCs. Probably the latter. Couldn't you just sub Tenma in or something? Like put him in with 1 loss since he wasnt in the first round?

Benjamin Nicolai Vintrict Valentine dropped out of the tournament. Wondering if I should give Benjamin a free bye or fight him with another one of my NPCs. Probably the latter. Couldn't you just sub Tenma in or something? Like put him in with 1 loss since he wasnt in the first round? I don't like putting people into the tournament after the first round. It doesn't feel right. In any case, you get a free bye. Unless you want to fight Larx just to keep yourself occupied. Up to you.
