Cloud Dakota Cloud would give her a soft smile, tilting his head to the side as he did so. When he opened his eyes, their solid white depths would become more noticable. The puple seemed to be faded and clouded over. At first glance, his eyes would look like that of a blind man, but from the way he was moving, and looking right at her, his actions spoke otherwise.
He would smile as he watched the child examin the knives, extending his hand, he would let his fingers gently run through her soft hair. His eyes would gently run along her form as he just smiled. He closed his eyes, drawing a slow, shaking breath.
"I missed you little one..." Serene stows away her new 'toys,' to where was unseen, for they just seemed to disappear. "I missed you, too" She hugs him and looks up at him. Meeting his blind-like eyes, her smile fades ever so slightly. "Your eyes." Her voice ends in a slight lilt, questioning. Her eyes curious.

Cloud would smile softly, leaning forward, he would gently raise his hand to the skin around the eye. He pushed on it, his skin did not push inward like normal skin would.
"No worries hun...I can still see."
He gently took her hand, lifting it up, he pushed her small finger against the skin around his eye like he did himself, it was solid, like metal.
"They are a protective covering. I cant look directly at anyone, without something bad happening."
He gave her a soft nod, smiling brightly.
"As you can see...Ive changed alot."

*wanders in aimlessly noteing that though he's never been here part of him has and is very fond of it the other part of him know nothing of this place nor does it care his green and red eyes scan the island*
hmm why does this place seem famliar for that matter why I am I even here?

Manikarnik looks curiously at the winged newcomer. She doesn't recall anything specific about him, but he seems vaguely familiar. Than again, to Manikarnik, many people do.
Still, he seemed to be on good terms with Serene, so he was certainly not cause for alarm. Perched in the tree above the pair of them, she sits silently with wide brown eyes taking in the scene.

Spike sits up and looks through the trees to Sil Fer.
"Oh, hello Sil. I didn't see you there. How has life been since we last spoke? And Whitefire, how's your daughter faring?"
He glances over to Cloud, noticing the obvious physical changes he's gone through. Deciding not to address Cloud right now, as it would be rude to do so after asking a question to Sil, he turns back to hear her reply.

He smiled softly, leaing forward, he placed a soft kiss onto the nose of his little sister before picking her up. He stood, and lifted the child up, setting her on his right shoulder, he wrapped his right arm around her legs, keeping her up. "Wee. I'm bigger than you now." Bigger being synonomous to taller in her child's vocabulary. Serene laughed reaching her hands as high above her head as she could. Her view dramatically shifted, she looks around from this new height. She spots Void, and she frowns slightly, tilting her head to one side. She recognized something in this man yet something was also foreign. She couldn't place it. "Who's that?" She asks Cloud, half expecting him to answer since big brothers know everything, though that part in her that is older shook it's head and smiled at her naivete. No one knows everything.

He lifted his head, his lips parting to reply, but something caught his eye. He quickly lowered his head, turning it to the side. That aura. A soft smile would curl upon his lips and he let out a low chuckle. One name came to mind at the feeling of that aura.
"Spike..."
He turned to face the man speaking to the female known as Sil, tilting his head to the side as he still held Serene on his shoulder.
