Nyl Phairen ((Pretty good. I graduated, and freedom feels great! Hehe.)) Nyl sat, still, on the edge of the fountain, staring down at the fiery green rose in her hands, unaware of anything else going on around her.
"Hey!! How's it going?"
As Sarya got closer it was more noticable that her stomach had grown a bit.

Nyl almost didn't hear Sarya, but something new in the air made her look up, and she jumped from the fountain's edge, the flower falling to the ground. Grinning, she hugged Sarya as tightly as she dared. "I heard something exciting! Congratulations!"

Nyl Phairen Nyl almost didn't hear Sarya, but something new in the air made her look up, and she jumped from the fountain's edge, the flower falling to the ground. Grinning, she hugged Sarya as tightly as she dared. "I heard something exciting! Congratulations!"
"Thanks Nyl. I'm a little worried though. I can't explain why. It's like this feeling in the pit of my stomach telling me something's not right."

Nyl flinched again as Sarya hugged her, but it was hardly noticeable. Sarya's words made her frown, though. "You should listen to a feeling like that. ...You sure it's not Reeve's paranoia rubbing off?" She gave Sarya a half-grin.

"Not sure what it is. Though when I think about it being Reeve rubbing off, it just doesn't seem to fit.."
Sarya trailed off a little at the end as if half in a dream state.
"Reeve.... I don't know if I should tell him though. I don't want to make him worry more than he already is."

Nyl sat back down again on the fountain's edge, glancing up at the sky and back down at the ground again so quickly it was almost unnoticeable. When she spoke again, it was in a serious, soft voice.
"There's a chance it's nothing. Nothing but worry, apprehension, the memory of things that have gone wrong in the past and the fear that they will again. And there's a chance that it's something inconsequential, and a chance that it's something serious. No matter what it is, the two of you will be able to face it."
