Astor was about to answer back to his new friend in saying that they can go ahead and head off, but this was when the patrol of soldiers were making their round and came across them. The phoenix child gasped as he stumbled out of the fountain, the soldiers quickly surrounding them all and their guns trained on them. Fear dilated his pupils but he didn't try to run away or hide. Despite being a child, he was somewhere inside a protector and fighter. "I-I'm never going back!" he said as he raised his hands and his wings were furled out wide. He was shaking a little, but he wasn't letting it take control. What was surprising was that he was starting to glow with a golden fire. A soldier would have tried to approach them to knock out the children, but a large eruption of fire surrounded him and Vivi, halting the soldiers from coming closer and even stopped them from seeing for a moment. Astor didn't know how to completely control his powers yet, though. What was good was that the soldiers couldn't see them and shooting blindly would result to them possibly shooting each other!

"T-try it!" Astor said when Vivi said that he had an idea. Astor watched as he kept maintain over his flames, watching as a more red fireball appearing in the wall of his flames, growing in power and size. His eyes were a little wide as he then blinked and watched as the fireball was then launched at a few of the soldiers, who all screamed when they were hit by it, but the rest dodged out of the way. Astor was unable to keep the flames up and watched as the ring disappeared along with the fireball, panting a little as someone else jumped in and attacked the soldiers.

The fountain exploding into a wall of ice between the kids and the soldiers. Astor had wide eyes as the black-hair guy Davis made a soldier run away before turning to him and Vivi. "A-ah, um, right," Astor said nervously as he moved toward the guy, looking at Vivi but glad to be saved now! "C-c'mon Vivi!"

With the kids out of the way, Lia gave a smirk to the remaining soldiers that were trying to keep calm, but she kept her focus on the 1st Class that she was fighting. The man was barely able to put up a fight, though at least he'd be given an E for effort. The woman sighed as she dodged the attack then swung both of her swords at his spear, catching the weapon with both weapons and their clever catch, yanking it straight out of his hands and smashed it into pieces. "I give you three seconds to get away and two is already gone." The man took off as fast as he could, and while she debated on killing him, she let him go. One 1st Class soldier gone and two 2nd Classes and another 1st to go, though Fuliter had that one in control.

With a crack of her neck, she turned to the 2nd Class soldiers, who opened fire as soon as they realized that she was after them. She seemingly disappeared before reappearing behind them, slicing her weapons into their guns and they were holding nothing but the handles of what was once guns. One had the sense to run, but the other tried to attack her bare-handed. Lia merely took the punch and slammed the handle of her sword into his gut, knocking him straight out as he crumpled to the ground. "Yeah, guess that Shin-Ra here is just as worthless too."

Inodoro sighed as he tried to drink the last of the drink of juice but was rudely interrupted by the soldier attack. " Can't a guy just enjoy his juice for a good 3 seconds!" Inodoro cried angrily as he threw off his robe and revealed his clothes, his arms and legs wearing leather holdsters for his knives, the threads so sharp and thin they glittered in the sun. He threw the juice to the ground. " I'll make sure you regret intterupting my peaceful drink" he said as he took out a collection of knives from his sleeve, a vein appearing on his forehead.



Inodoro jumped high into the air and threw his needles into the air. " Pay back time! Terrore Artiglio" Indoro cried as his knives were thrown at the soldiers before Inodoro spun in mid air, the threads and knives become electrically charged, causing a sideways slash that flew over to 4 soldiers and electrocuted them.

It had been awhile since she was back here! After all, even though she was gone for maybe two days to everyone else at the time, she was gone for nearly ten years! So Hikaru had decided to let her mother rest now that she was found, and she set out into the city to explore it all over again as well as maybe buy herself something tasty. She had kinda wanted to ask Ike if he wanted to come along, but he was missing as far as she had seen. That kind of made her a tiny bit sad, but that was quickly gone as she was having fun looking at the shops like they were new again, smiling at the displays and whatnot at vendors and windows.
