"Um, okay?" Andi said giving Kyle a confused look as he ran out the door. "What is it with him and roofs?" Vulpix let out a soft cry as if to answer and Andi nodded in agreement. I guess so...
"C'mon guys. Let's go make something to eat." Andi walked into the kitchen with both pokemon at her heels. There has to be something for picky vegetarians in here somewhere.

Kaano walked into HQ to find no one around. Too lazy to leave, however, he came in and sat down on a nearby couch. He then pulled out the pokeballs that Crabs and Kinesis were in and tossed them up into the air. Okay. You guys can come out and play. The pokeballs popped open and the two pokemon landed on the ground, only to immediately scurry off and play.

Kaano started to think for a little bit, attempting to recall a possible moment where he had read something about it. He knew there was something, but he didn't know where he had found it at. I think your best bet would be to go over the rules again, if that'd help. That may not be the right location, but it's a good start, right?
