Well as you all know I like vampires ALOT. And yeah silver I won't turn into that so as you put it I'm safe. Even I like to bag it out sometimes and I find the comics people make about it amusing and such. And at times im like omg get over his crooked smile already but meh. I don't know why but I still enjoy it enough to read. Perhaps I just like to laugh at the authors strange version of vampires. I will say this about hte movie though. It brought all those lovely good looking squealy fan girls into my supermarket (we are opposite the movie theaters) for several days after it opened. At first im like WTF is with all these young girls in the candy asile? THen I noticed all their twilight shirts and stuff and was like lol Twilight opened today *oogles walks away*
I'm rambling again. Point is, it's sort of want.
EDIT: The same thing happened is still happening with Harry Potter. I read the books from when they first came out and I can't help but think the younger people that came in after it got popular ruined it. And the regular commercialisation of a popular item made it worse of course. Although I rather disliked the last two books.

I'm currently hosting a contest in the ATG clan...
This is true Sanzo (The first part) It seems that it takes a certain type of person to turn into a crazy fangirl/boy (Is there such a thing? I've never seen a guy obsess over something like this. Now that I think of it, I've never seen that term used either.)
...The prize is 5k. Why not swing by and check it out?

I've heard the term fanboy, but that brings to mind more of a creepy nerd who spends all his time on the net.... not the overexcitable and slightly insane image of a fangirl
@Laz see I don't think the popularity of Harry Potter ruined the SERIES just made some fans look crazy. I'm just sick of people blaming the product for the actions of crazy fans.

Now see, the guy who did Edward was smart. He called the author AND the fans batshit insane.

Hrm. Well, I dunno. The most I've seen a guy obsessed about something is a friend of mine, who spends all his free time on WOW. I just call him a WOWtard though.
And Harry Potter was a great series. I have only gone to two Midnight releases in my life. One was for SSBB, the other was for the Deathly Hollows.
EDIT: Isn't Edward the same guy who played Cedric in Harry Potter?

xd I actually think that's freakin hilarious, the even funnier part... there are still fangirls who are totally in love with him
edit: yeah well I've probably heard the term more than you cause well... I AM a fangirl myself when it comes to anime and the time I heard fanboy was in reference to being an anime fan

I actually feel sorry for him. He had to be flamboyant and retarded because thats how Edward was.

You know what the awesome thing about the harry potter midnight realeases were? (I only went for the last book). Australia is 9 hors ahead of England so it was really a 9am release lol.
And yeah Sanzo it's not fault of the actual work wether it be movie, book etc. It's the hype the press put on it mixed with people who have the potential to go crazy over things like this.
