TheRob Lol, why do you say that? xd Society makes it seems like its pitiful to spend it alone. I hate the greed that I see in people during these months. I hate the overall fakeness. I hate that my family doesn't celebrate it the way we used to after my grandparents passed away. My other side of the family turned into greedy little back stabbers. I hate the begging of guests who want a better room because of the season. Some guest told us to kick another guest out of a room because they deserved it more than they did. I hate this season I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!!

I hate this season I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!! Yeah, things aren't the same with my family either. We used to all get together...but then at some point a lot of us went our own separate ways. Now we live in other states and some people are married and have to go to other family's houses, etc. So, Thanksgivings & Christmases haven't been the same, but I'm ok with it. Christmas may be more for the kids anyway. I'm waiting to see if my sister or her husband complains about the present I got her/them because it's not all that expensive, but I had 2 weddings to travel to this year (including hers) and had to give wedding presents to, etc., so I didn't spend too much on people for Christmas.

The sun hardly went down and my neighbors had already started trying to burn the neighborhood to the ground with fireworks...

The fireworks are far from over and so the kitty is lounging on my desk, with those fluffy ears swiveling this way 'n that. But, when the big she- bang happens, he's on his own to protect the kingdom 'cause I'm going outside to enjoy this explosive, boom- y love.
Happy (early) new year and may those resolutions be realistic ones.
