I knew someone was bound to get a kilt. Maybe I should get one, just to relive my short lived stint as Godfather Duncan in Mobster Macbeth. Home movie, no props, no kilts, but we had plenty of plaid skirts. sweatdrop

Urgh. I had to disect a big frog today gonk I had to cut out the insides and stuff... and I was squirted with juicey stuff crying Next week we have to disect an aborted pig fetus O_O

I had to disect a big frog today gonk I had to cut out the insides and stuff... and I was squirted with juicey stuff crying Next week we have to disect an aborted pig fetus O_O /traumatized icky xp i remember high school, my frog was a girl and had eggs...they were all over the place. good luck, sweetie.

Thank you summer school. However I did get to see one with the odd wild recessive gene for hairiness. It was completely black with fur. xp It was just my luck to get stuck with the most squeamish, but curious girls as lab partners. They'd insist on punching out lenses from eyes and poking and prodding everything down to the gummy pituitary, as long as I did it all. Anyway, I'm done exams! whee

I didn't take biology until my 11th or 12th grade year and by then they'd stopped doing dissections. But we did get to play with a planaria. That was cool.

I am sorry for my disappearance! It's not because I forgot about you...I've just had a lot of rl issues to deal with. It's finals week coming up, so I probably won't be able to get on much... sad I miss you guys!

My 12th Grade biology teacher was a female version of my 11th Grade biology teacher. They were both lanky, and had really gaunt features, made their own protein drinks from seaweed, and had a strange fascination with organs.
You have to be more than a bit creeped out when your teacher worked as a veterinarian assistant 20 years ago, and kept a cat's uterus and a German Shepherd's testicles as samples.
