Tony accepted Loki’s words, knowing that he would keep his past to himself. Smiling slightly when Loki moved onto the bed properly, Tony followed him, settling beside him and pulling him close. Rubbing his back, Tony took a few deep breaths. “We’ll be okay….the two of us.” He murmured, not sure if he was saying it for himself or for Loki.
Smiling when Natasha made them both some tea, he accepted it with a soft thanks. Slowly sinking into a seat, he gave her a tired smile. “It will be a long few months.” He said lightly.

Loki sighed when Tony pulled him close and he snuggled close to the man. He settled quickly when the man rubbed his back. He held onto tony when the man said they would be okay. "The two of us..." he parroted.
"It will be and I'm sure it will be full of surprises." Natasha laughed sipping her tea. She couldn't wait to see what the next couple months would bring. (Should we time skip soon?)

Alikia Tsuki ((I figured they could move in after Halloween to give proper time for things to be set up.))
He was careful to remember not to become too obsessed with safety and his projects as well. He tried to add in things he knew the others would appreciate, building full labs and infirmaries underground for himself and Bruce, a full workout room and boxing ring specifically made to stand up to the super soldier, spy, and god demands placed upon it for Steve. He built outdoor ranges and obstacle courses for Natasha and Clint, and was in the process of figuring out how to build stables and pastures for the horses he’d suggested to Loki and a large enclosed pool for the team’s use. He was also expanding his mother’s rather large library for Loki so the god could use it and store his books there as well. At the same time he was preparing the mansion to hold a Halloween party. He had invited many of the heroes they knew and gone through the complicated process of explaining his relationship to Loki, but most seemed to accept it as Loki hadn’t tried to kill anyone or destroy anything yet. With the plans also came a whole host of pranks from Clint and Tony. The genius had become rather fond of trying to get Clint into a frilly pink cupid costume, buying several of them and setting them around the tower for Clint to find and posting up photoshopped pictures of the archer in the costume. In retaliation, Clint had been rigging up fake spiders, bats, and snakes to fall one people or come out of various hiding places. Aside from a threat from Bruce to keep all pranks out of his space, the month had been lively and the team in good spirits.
A week before Halloween, Tony had needed to take a few days off to handle work for Stark Industries and with that, decided to buy a nice dinner on his way back so he and Loki could have a pleasant, quiet evening. Though things hadn’t been bad, Tony had begun picking up some odd vibes from Loki as time passed, and he wasn’t really sure what the cause was, but he figured a pleasant evening and a surprise he had in plan for the god might help…..might.

It had been over a month since Thor had given him the news about Sif and since he had discovered he was pregnant. That month had been filled with a flurry of activity. From going to the mansion, to finishing his glamour and getting all the necessary tests done for his child and making sure he was healthy and the baby too. His 'morning' sickness had not gone away but it had lessened some with the teas. When he woke up in the middle of the night he was able to get out of bed without waking Tony and make it to a bathroom outside of the penthouse so Tony would not hear him. He always felt too warm afterwards no mater what form he was in and often crawled into the tub/shower to try and cool off. In the early morning he would crawl back into bed with tony and get maybe an hour more of sleep before he was to get up to start all the things they needed to do. The small amounts of sleep seemed to be taking more and more out of him as the weeks progressed. He even noticed a slight draw on his magic so he was more careful about its use. When Tony wasn't around he tried to nap but he could never sleep for long at all unless he was with the man.
The idea of Halloween coming had brought lots of pranks to the tower which mainly were between Tony and Clint. Loki helped Tony when he felt the man needed help but he stayed out of it mostly not wanting to be caught in a wayward prank that could harm his child. He spent alot of time trying to design or find a costume when he was by himself and once a week he chatted with his mother. Like Bruce she was disappointed that he had not told Tony of the pregnancy yet. It wasn't like he hadn't tried though, when he did try to tell the man something interrupted them or his fear overwhelmed him and he ended up saying something else. He knew Tony had stated to notice something strange about him and it worried Loki like nothing else. He constantly watched his words and movements making sure to give nothing away. Every early morning after he had been sick he checked his stomach to see if it had started to grow. It was foolish of course he wouldn't start to show for another couple of months but Loki worried endlessly.
A week before Halloween Tony was at work and Loki wandered listlessly around the tower. He had begun avoiding certain foods and he didn't know how to hide it. He still didn't have a costume and the party was in a week. He knew Tony also wanted to move them soon so that meant he would have to pack again soon and that was a daunting task. Flopping down on the couch of an empty main room he sighed.

It was early evening when Tony made it back to the penthouse, arms full of various bags and the smell of food surrounding him. “Honey, I’m home!” he called out, snickering to himself at the line. Bustling to the kitchen to set everything down, he began speaking right away, not even looking for Loki, knowing he was close and would appear shortly to greet him and investigate. He’d stopped by an expensive steakhouse for their dinner. He assumed Loki was starting to figure out what he liked to eat on Midgard, as he was being pickier as of late, so Tony had called to check what he bought with Loki first, but that wouldn’t make the meal any less delicious. Loosening the tie he wore as soon as he was able, he jabbered on about the annoying business meetings he’d been in all day and then about the hilarity that ensued when he’d shown up to the steakhouse to demand food from them. He left out the part where he had spent about an hour getting Loki’s surprise, but he was sure his almost nonstop story would be enough to keep Loki from picking up on anything. Fussing around with the boxes and dishes needed for the meal, he seemed far too awake for someone who’d been up and moving since before sunrise when he normally slept in.

Loki had just started dozing again when Tony entered the pent house calling out loudly. Sitting up he couldn't help but smile at his mate. He could see the day had been busy for Tony as the man launched into a story. He had noticed the man tended to talk a lot if he had been locked in the office all day. He couldn't help but shake his head at the ma. "Do you need some help tony?" Loki questioned.

Tony looked over to Loki with a grin as he question him. “No, I’m good.” He said lightly, transferring all of the food to plates and making sure it all looked good. Carrying it to the table, he set it all out before turning and heading over to Loki. Smiling warmly at his lover, he slowly straddled his lap and pulled him into a kiss. Taking his time, he gave a slow sigh when he had to pull away. “I hate having to go to the office and not have you around.” He mumbled, resting his forehead against Loki’s. Unconsciously his fingers found and smoothed worry lines that he’d seen start to form on Loki’s face. He also saw the dark circles starting to form under Loki’s eyes, which he didn’t understand in the slightest. As far as he knew the god slept well, went to bed and got up with him.

Loki nodded when Tony stated that he didn't need help. He still watched Tony as the man moved around with the food to the table before heading to him. Giving a soft laugh as the genius straddled him lap he fell into the kiss easily and readily. He had missed Tony during the day and he leaned into the man when he finally broke the kiss. "I hate not having you around." Loki stated. "When will you be done with all the work?" he questioned. He felt a bit useless sitting back and doing nothing while the mansion was being worked on. He didn't even know where the rest of the Avengers were at the moment.

Tony enjoyed the closeness for a long moment, smiling warmly when Loki complained about him being gone. “I have one more meeting tomorrow. It shouldn’t take more than an hour or two.” He replied softly. “Then I can safely start blowing it off again for a while.” He continued, moving to nuzzle his neck and kiss Loki’s mark. Part of him knew that this time apart was also good for them, they had to learn how to pull away from each other, considering that they had pretty much stayed attached to each other at the hip since meeting. After just enjoying being close to Loki for a few more minutes, he sighed and began to slip off of Loki’s lap. “Come on. We need to eat before the food gets cold.” He said gently, helping Loki up once he stood.

Loki smiled when Tony stated that he had one more meeting and that it shouldn't take more than an hour or two. "Just make sure you do not blow it off too much. Perhaps spend a little time each week doing something and then you will not be pulled away for as long. I believe that would keep Pepper quite pleased." Loki suggested. He stood up with Tony's help and made his way over to the table. "It smells wonderful." he stated glad his stomach hadn't flipped at the smell. It meant he could eat it, but that still didn't make him feel better knowing he would most like be sick tonight.

Tony pouted when Loki spoke about working some each week. Sure it made sense, but it just wasn’t him. “Now you’re starting to sound like Pepper.” He mumbled, though he didn’t argue. He probably should work more so they didn’t have to deal with being apart again. Pulling out a chair for Loki, he smiled at him. “It better. This comes from the best Steakhouse in town. People normally have to reserve seats two or three months in advance for a seat. But you’re mate has connections.” He smirked. Taking a moment to slip his jacket and tie off, he finally sat beside him. “And I think you’ll love the desert.” He smirked, glancing at the boxes that held two slices of cheesecake.

Loki laughed when Tony pouted that he sounded like pepper. Raising an eyebrow when Tony pulled a chair out for him. "thank you." Loki thanked taking his seat. Loki felt more guilt when Tony explained that their food came from the best steakhouse in town that normally needed reservations. He smiled though when the man called himself his mate. Over the last few weeks after the Christine incident loki had calmed in his possessiveness and reveled when Tony called him his mate. "This is all wonderful but why go though so much trouble?" Loki questioned.
