Sir Kyle Aziz I was hoping for that when Gold Edition of DoW came out. ): I wanted to play as the dang Death Guard. Not their version of the Death Guard. Whoa, whoa, back up. What is this? I have DoW Gold and that has no Death Guard. Only way to get Death Guard that I know of is through the Firestorm mods.

Sorry, no Slaanesh in Chaos Rising. http://community.dawnofwar2.com/blog-post/powers-chaos It says: For ten centuries the planet Aurelia, has been lost to the warp and was the playground for the Dark Gods Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch." I'm a bit annoyed that there is no Slaanesh, but it must be because of the nakedness of their daemons.

It's the same damn version as all the other Chaos things. Chaos Undivided. ):

Wrong. Winter Assault was headed by the World Eaters.
Not Chaos Undivided. Crazy a** lobotomized...crazies. It's also why 'Zerks were introduced in that edition. Had it been, say, Emperor's Children, we would have gotten Noise Marines.

Yes, but them World Eaters still had those fancy little Daemon thingers which are Tzeench are they not? An their commander unit had Chaos Undivided quotes if I recall right.
Either way, I'm curious as to what you think about the Word Bearers in Dark Crusade havin the Khorne Beserkers. Aren't they Chaos Undivided or Tzeench?

Like ffow said, 'Zerks tend to wander especially after the incident where Kharn earned his title of "The Betrayer." The World Eaters at large are the psychopaths that still follow Kharn, despite his bat-shittery. Anyway, I never said the system was perfect. If it was, then there wouldn't have been the crazy a** balance issues at Dark Crusade's release where a squad of Kroot Hounds had DPS equal to a Dreadnought.

As a sidenote, the psychosurgeons in the World Eaters are the best of the best at it. The next best have been taken into the Black Legion by Abaddon. I think a good lvl20 on DoWII would have been Abaddon. Would have been scary s**t.

Hm.. Alright that makes sense now!
Doesn't make me not sad that they had a lame "generic" version of the Death guard though..
Can excepting something slightly better for DoW2 now though.. I just hope the skirmish play goes back to the DoW roots some more.. I was uncapable of forcing myself to play DoW2's skirmish mode malarki.

DoW 2 has weak multi-player, not that DoW 1 was that great with the MP. No, the big strengths of DoW 2 lie in the single-player story, coop mode and Last Stand.

I wish my laptop was better. It can squeeze out enough frames to not drive me insane playing the opening missions, but MP/Last Stand is going to be tough...

I'll probably need to replay the campaign to get the hang of things again, the expansion is coming some time next month, so I'd better rebuild the bling arsenal and work my way from a lowly Initiate of Wrath all the way to Angel of Death status.
