The next morning, it is obvious that Ai is still recovering. He is tired and drawn looking, but there is a merry sparkle in his eye that hasn't been there for sometime, letting everyone know he's beginning to heal inside.

Bez is the first to see this as he walks from the bedroom, rubbing his neck, grumbling about kinks and such from sleeping in a chair. But rather than remark on it, he merely helps him sit at the table in the kitchen and puts a bowl of porridge in front of him. "Good morning, morning glory... yer up bright and early today."

"Had a hell of a time stepping across those two guarding my door. They are out cold, sprawled all over the place. What I don't understand is why no one took the bed. Here we were three of us in the room and that bed wasn't used by any of us... a perfectly good bed it is, too."

Tam shakes his head and wakes up Salunia, letting Kero sleep. "Princess, are you hungry. We have porridge today."

Ai nods in the direction of the bed with it's feline occupant and laughs softly. "Yeah right, ye try sleeping in that bed... I don't know how he does it, but he's way bigger asleep than when he's awake."

"Let's go eat." says Ai picking her up and carrying her out into the kitchen. "But please don't make me stay in bed... I had enough of that yesterday. It bores me silly."

"How long?" he asks with a grin plopping down beside her at the table. "I was trying to d something important..."

"That long... Princess, you are a task master... can we make it ten?" laughs Ai giving her a hug.

Ai nods. "Twelve it is then. Do I get to pick the corner or should you?"

"Good, I pick the corner where yer mama is with your brothers?" he laughs merrily.
