Naruto could practically smell this excitement in the air as he stepped out. His vulpine nose growing somewhat sensitive to "irrelevent" things as Kiba had told him. But he didn't care if he couldn't smell chakra like his damn dog.
Funnily enough Kiba -was- in the asylum as well, just, he didn't get out as much as Naruto. The reason for being contained was a simple one, but one that we will not discuss till a later date ((like when Kay-chan actually has him XD;; ))
Still, with a flick of his tails, he smiled at Ryland, before leading him up the maze like corridors towards the West wing. Ignoring the best he could the.. intreguing noises coming from some of the rooms and wards than branched off from the main hall.
A few passers by had to stop and look twice at the pair walking, before muttering to each other something about Tae, and how odd it was that Naruto seemed to be sociallizing.

Ryland had been doing good so far in ignoring his curiosity when his ears turned towards the rather intriguing sounds coming from some of the rooms that they passed, but when they passed a few anthros and his expert hearing picked up on the name 'Tae,' he stopped dead in his tracks, reaching out to grab Naruto's hand.
"Naruto... Do you think, if we find this orb or don't find it, that we could stop by the office you first brought me to? I have a question to ask Alice."
Ryland said in a gentle, yet still excited voice. How could he not be excited when they were going to look for an orb AND there was a possibility that Alice, or someone else, might know the whereabouts of Tae? Ryland may have only met him once, but he wouldn't forget him. They had too much in common with how their lives once were, even if they were from different tribes and places.

Naruto blinked, looking back at Ryland as his had was grabbed, stopping also and listning to his question as he tilted his head to the side.
"Sure I guess, Any particular reason?" He asked, blinking his bright blue eyes. He seemed excited for some reason, was it something to do with this Tae guy? He decided to just ask.
"Why? Know Tae or something? It wouldn't surprize me, he does look kinda like you." He laughed softly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Yes, Tae is very important to me... He's like a brother..." Ryland paused and turned to look around before looking back up to Naruto, blinking quite a few times as he mulled something over in his mind at the last comment that had been added. He and Tae kind of looked alike. Soon he began to giggle a few times as his tail flicked around.
"Wait, do they think I'm Tae?" This made Ryland giggle a bit more as he let go of Naruto's hand so that they could continue walking, and nobody would suspect anything that had to do with Tae and Naruto, if that was the case at all. "But Tae is really.. gorgeous and he wears native clothing..." Ryland gave a small shrug of his shoulders, "Well, I guess if Tae is around here they'll find out that we're different people, not that I mind all that much."

Naruto nodded. "At first, I thought you was Tae as well.. but you're definatly a lot different when I got to know you. I suppose where they don't know either of you that well, it's not that hard to mix you up. And your both really pretty, so don't jsut think Tae is the only one with "Beauty". " He told him softly, walking on with him.
"I'll take you to see him later if you want me to." He offered, walking through a battered pair of doors with graffiti on it stating this was the start of the "West wing".

"O-okay... Thank you, Naruto..." Ryland spoke softly as a blush came on his cheeks, he wasn't that hard to embarass, ticking him off was the hard part. Ryland was overpatient, all the time, anytime, and the only person that managed to really get him going on a rampage was Alefric, and he was just angry with Elijah because of.. well.. several things, but what he said to Naruto was just the last straw for the fox.
Taking Naruto's hand again, to feel safe, as he looked upon the battered doors as they entered he noted the graffiti, but didn't think it really had that much importance of anything. Smiling softly, he scooted closer to Naruto as they walked, just to feel a bit safer in new, uncharted territory, though excitement still engulfed his... aura, if you will. "That would be lovely, Naruto, thank you for everything.."

"Your welcome. I'm sure he'd apreciate the vist." He replied, his tails waving behind him as the other crept closer.
He didn't mind really, i mean, this place did look like a completely diferent place. It was almost as if someone had put the asylum in the most poverty and crime stricken town they could find, and left it for the public to destroy. There was trash and graffiti everywhere, along with bullet holes amongst the metal doors, which had been strengthened for extra security.
The lights that hadn't been smashed flickered on and off from over using the bulbs, and people didn't really wander around as much as in the east wing. You could see where the "Westies" got their reputation for being Dodgy.

Ryland was pretty good about remaining calm, despite the trash, graffiti, and bullet holes in the strengthened doors. He simply held Naruto's hand and stayed as close as necessary without walking all over him. Smiling softly to himself he closed his eyes for a few moments and allowed himself to keep walking.
Opening his eyes every now and then, he finallygave a light nod to what Naruto had said before he glanced around. He found himself wondering what the West Wing would look like if someone with obsessive-compulsive disorder got moved in. Probably the exact opposite of what it looked like now... But then again, they might not put someone like that in the West Wing, seeing as how the whole place looked like one huge crime scene.

Oh look.. it was someones chalked outline! Not really, but there was a a game of hopscotch on the floor. Geez, it really was like a direlect estate.
Ignoring all that though, Naruto came to a door that had a big green $ spray painted on it, and knocked breifly, waiting for the guy to open up.
A blonde lamia opened the door, looking at the pair. He had golden slitted eyes, with spikey hair that almsot made him look a little like a hairy cobra. He wore a long black trench-coat that had no sleves, showing a tattoo of a hissing cobra wrapped around his arm. He also wor a net shirt under it.
Grinning a fanged grin, he crossed his arms and leant against the door. "Well, It's not often I see a pair as odd as you, particularly not a Mythical animal. What can ol' Tai do for you?"

Ryland's eyes followed the chalked hopscotch game on the floor before he looked towards the door Naruto knocked briefly on. Tilting his head to the side, his ears twitched and his tail flicked as he waited patiently beside Naruto. Tail flicking, he looked up at the llamia who opened the door and smiled softly, blinking his orange orbs only once.
A soft flush crossed over his cheeks at the comment Tai had to offer them. Embarassment. There it went again. So easily set off by the littlest things. Still holding onto Naruto's hand, he smoothly set some space inbetween them, but smiled up at Naruto and then to Tai, still choosing the vow of silence for now.

Naruto bit his lip, but got over it, he had called him a Mythical animal.. that wasn't so bad... Taking a deep breath, he looked the snake in the eyes.
"You collect like.. tonns of.. pretty much anything you can get ahold of. You don't know where we could find an orb do you..?" He asked, keeping it hushed as if it was a big secret.
"Hm? An Orb?" He thought on this then grinned. "Ah I see, You can't 'ave your own so you wanna adopt one of those spirit things." He nodded to himself, ignoring Naruto's now heated glare at him.
"But yes, anyway, I don't know if i have one of those. Let me go look." He said, before going back into his cell and digging through piles of his Junk to see if he can find anything.

Ryland looked up at Naruto and then blushed harder at what Tai had said. Shaking his head softly, he contemplated arguing with 'it's not like that' or 'we're not a couple, just friends' - but that would only sound like denial of a relationship, or as if they were trying to keep a relationship secret.
"Keep calm, Naruto... It's not that big of a deal that he thinks were together, is it?" Ryland looked up, his brows pressed together in mild concern. I mean, it was bound to happen sooner or later - people assuming they were a couple - since those they passed in the hall were probably already assuming the same thing.. just not voicing it loud enough for them to hear.

Naruto looked at Ryland, blushing slightly. "Well.. No but.." He simply trailed off, looking away. The point was that he still didn't think he was gay, no matter how girly Ryland was, he was still a guy, and he couldn't get used to finding him slightly attractive. So he was going through denying anything that made them like that.
He sighed softly. "Sorry.." He replied quietly, before the Snake came back, holding out a green and red orb, the colours swirling around inside it, showing some form of magical "life".
"Like that? I dunno how long it has left as an orb though, but i've had it a fair while.." He said, beaming at the cat. "Though I should warn you, these things need just as much care as normal kids.. only they need different things.. cause they don't eat normally and stuff.." He shrugged. "I've never really had one, but you'll find out."

Ryland said nothing, it was a silly thing to have asked anyway. Naruto was his friend, and he probably just didn't like people making such assumptions. Waiting patiently, his grip on Naruto's hand lightened softly as he closed his eyes and thought on a few different things.
When Tai returned, he smiled softly and released Naruto's hand completely to nod his head and examine the orb. Gently taking it, he rolled it over in his hands and looked back towards the other, nodding his head.
"I usually catch on pretty quickly when it comes to children, and I'm sure I'll learn sooner rather than later... How much?" Ryland asked softly. Money was of no problem for him, he had plenty of it and nothing to do with it, so either way, whether Tai tried to refuse or not, he would get payment for it. After all, even if the snake didn't want a spirit child, he couldn't just take it for free.

Tai looked thoughtfull, leaning against the door again. "I dunno, Whatcha got? Money dosn't do me any good any more, so you'll have to trade something else for it, if you want to keep it."
He ran a hand through his hair, watching Naruto, before smirking to himself as a random thought came through his head. "Hey, Y'know, you should watch out around these parts kid, There's some other guy who's like you, with teh whole multi-tail thing, same breed, only blue. God knows what he'd try and do with you if he found you."
Naruto's ears twitched. What was that..? Another Kyubi? Was that even possible. He turned to look at the Lamia with his blue eyes. "What.. do you mean? Another one like me?" He trembled slightly, he didn't like the sound of this.
