Exxos Guin - Aoiichi WHat do you guys think of zomg's demise? That we are in the last two quarters of gaia mostly. Considering other actions as of late, I am going to conjecture that we'll soon see a "porting" from gaia to tentacl, wherein people can connect their gaia and tentacl accounts which will in turn be used during the final shuttering; i.e.; "If you bought gcash, you can port it over to your tentacl account before *X date when we shut gaia down.*" I already called it and that they mentioned such speculation pretty much confirms it in my book. Gaia seems to have a freudian slip going on for years now that when they are screwing up, they say they are not. With previous developing teams, they tended to just not acknowledge such speculations. So what I think is that they shut it down for monetary reasons, said it would be back up to keep people invested and buying things, then made up a story and dug themselves a deeper hole in their clumsiness to cover their asses. actually , they made an announcement that Tentacl is shut down.....

Have you had this kind of issues? ninja I have been getting it off and on for the last three days. It seems to be in guild forums in general, not just this page. I don't know if it is related to the site issues in zero omega's post since I have only ran into it in guilds. Though I do not think it is anything nefarious this time. I think it is new blood faced with the code the old developer's abandoned with the company. They're not used to a website held together with cellophane tape and cautious optimism so they expected real code. rofl

Short answer: Alive and staying strong. Accurate answer: *Emits a gnashing, wailing, howling noise punctuated with the sounds of breaking bones and a zube-tube being slapped on a cow's buttocks.* Such things aside, I am trying to focus on the good as even though a lot of things have gone nasty as of late, I have seen some personal successes.

Yeah, they shut down zomg under the pretense of a security issue that would be too hard to fix.
Though in their explanations, because the new management of this site has all the collective tact of a rotten walnut, they basically admitted that they closed it down because it was not making a profit. Which might leave the door open for legal troubles since they altered the TOS AFTER they shut zomg down and thus the previous TOS would apply.
