Why would it be an American thing for an Irish holiday? Do Americans pay more attention to it then we do? o 3o
And also Gee, I dunno if you know - but English and Irish relationships aren't the best - because they didn't take independence as well as some other countries ._.; it's understandable the English were bastards to them all. So they're bastards to us in return = 3=;; B-but we're bastards to everyone ._. Ireland votes for us in Eurovision! <3

St. Patrick's day is bigger in America than it is in England..? orz I suppose it's understandable but I find it hard to believe - I assume part of the American accent was influenced by the Irish one :3 (Aye, weird accents)

In fact, contrary to what you may think, we Americans actually quite like British people!
We love British accents.
We try to imitate it too.
We also fail at it.

Oh I already knew Americans love the British - mainly for their accents - having been to America and heard the "OMG I just love your accent, it's so cute!"
And I laugh at all the American's attempting to be British - they always sound so posh! XD (Or even Australian wtf? We don't say 'G'day, mate') *mumbles* I can do a better American accent then they can 'British' - what is a British accent? I mean... there are different accents for Scotland, Ireland and Wales and several different English accents orz /end rant
Sorry about that... I could go on but I'll stop XD
But the Scots don't like us and the French look down on us our bosses have been insulting each other - like Cameron - a random English politician (don't ask me who he is other than that I don't know) - called Sarkozy[sp?] a midget and the French got angry hehe.

I know of English-Irish. I know. It is a little big in USA, but that's just because boys like having an excuse to pinch other people.
Apparently they had a poll in a newspaper about a Union Jack with Wales in it, but 4chan bombed them with a TTGL Flag that won the contest.
