*wakes up and looks around* w-w-where am I....... *notices sign in the corner of room* must have been pretty bad if im in the sick ward (not remembering all of yesterday)*sees Vulpix in the bed next to me* awe u were worried about me, yay i must have passed my mission then....
*walks back out into main sitting room*

Turen wanders into HQ with a sleeping Eevee on his head.
"I don't know why but my neck is killing me... feels like I got a brick on my head or something for the last few miles...."
He then looks around, trying to find anything shiny. "blast, nothing...."

Turen walks in from outside with pride in his step, he is obviously walking to the mission bulletin board, but he trips on air and gets knocked out cold, the report slides out on the floor.
MISSION- Birch's First Break-in
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Prof. Birch's lab in Littleroot and steal one of his three pokemon (Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip). You must sneak in at night. But don't get caught by Prof. Birch or his assistant. At some point you must battle the pokemon you stole/are stealing, if you want to catch it.
Pokemon:
Treecko
Torchic
Mudkip
Funds upon completion: 300
Walking around Aqua HQ, I decide to check out the notice board. There was an older mostly crumpled note about breaking into Birch’s Lab. “Hmmm, sounds like fun” I thought to myself, I kind of want a Treecko to go with my Mudkip.
I grab my Pokemon, my backpack, and jump on my bike. After a long ride, I arrive at Littleroot, it is the middle of the day and I’m tired so I decide to take a nap in a tree outside of the town. I awaken with a thud on the ground; Eevee is up in the tree making giggling noises.
“I need a new alarm clock, wait…” I look in my stuff for my TADS, and realize I had forgotten it. Great...
It seems to be about 12am, so I scope out the small town, and find it to be dead quiet.
I walk around the town using the tree line as cover. When I get down towards the laboratory, I peer out to check for any lights or other indications of activity. I return Eevee to her ball, and attach it to the Pokeball strap I wear that runs over my shoulder. Running to the side of the building, I duck into the bushes with a slight rustle. I whisper to myself discretely, “I feel so ninja.”
I peer into the high window and see the structure barren; three Pokeballs sit on a table not far from the window. To see if there is an alarm or anything I pull myself up to the window to push it open, and immediately drop back into the bushes. After a moment of assessing I determine there to be no threat of alarm, I know the closest police office is a town away, so if there is a silent alarm Jenny is too far off to stop me. I climb back up to the window and slide inside, but one of my Pokeballs falls out of the slot in my harness, clattering to the floor. My heart thumps and I hang there motionless, waiting to see if there was any people still present in the structure to check out the sound. After a long moment I breathe a huge sigh of relief and send myself crashing to the floor. I get up and brush myself off, my right elbow throbs in pain. I pick up my Pokeball and the middle one on the table, and slip them into my Pokeball strap. I think almost aloud, “Wow... that was easy.”
I walk over to the window, where I’m hit with the realization that I can’t climb up the wall! Outside was rough brick, easy to gain purchase with my shoes, the inside wall is much to slick. “Crap.” I say as I release a disheartened sigh.
I walk towards the door which is, to no surprise, locked. I simply unlock it and relock it on my way out. Tossing the newly obtained Pokeball up and down I mutter, “Well it was still easy… ooof!” and tumble to the ground due to a loose stone on the walkway. Torchic pops out of it’s ball and glares at me.
“I grabbed the wrong one?” I curse myself for my foolishness and call out Mudkip.
“C’mon Kip, lets take her down!”
“Chiii!” Torchip chirps and runs at Mudkip and scratches.
Mudkip shakes off the hit easily, and spins about sending a stream of mud at Torchic.
Torchic flutters to the side and scratches at Mudkip again.
Mudkip flops to the ground, but regains himself quickly. Rushing in he tackles Torchic.
Torchic rolls backward, bruised. A faint glow radiates from her, she looks intently at Mudkip.
Mudkip spins about again, sending another stream of mud at Torchic.
Torchic is slapped square in the face with the mud and stumbles a little. She then releases a focused flame towards Mudkip.
Mudkip is surprised by the powerful attack and reels backward, he is barely able to stand. A cute growl comes from Mudkip.
Torchic hops about slightly in fear of Mudkip, but still hops up and scratches Mudkip.
Mudkip slides back a little and falls to the ground, knocked out.
“KIP! No! Eevee, take her out!” I yell, disregarding my criminal predicament.
Eevee pops out of her ball and is immediately scratched by the tiring Torchic.
Eevee then runs fully into Torchic tackling her to the ground.
Torchic slides from the blow, but stands back up and sends a flame out at Eevee.
Eevee evades the flame, and tackles Torchic again.
Torchic slowly raises herself up again and sends another flame out at Eevee.
Eevee takes the flame at full force and is burned by it. Angrily she dives at Torchic yet again.
Torchic hops out of the way and drives her peck into Eevee.
At this point I see how hurt Torchic is and send out a Pokeball, as her old ball was broken. The ball shakes about a bit…. Then it suddenly busts open!
“Eevee, use sand-attack!”
Eevee does as I suggest and scratches up dirt towards Torchic.
Torchic is blinded by the dirt and sends out flame randomly.
I throw out another Pokeball. “C’mon Torchic, I don’t want to hurt you anymore.” The ball shakes a little, but she seems to have responded to my statement, it lies still.
“Yes!” I yell, and hear running in the background, to which I respond with a quick motion into the woods, with my new Torchic on my harness.
As soon as I get clear of the danger, I ride my bike as fast as I can towards a Pokemon center.
