Yes, yes it is. Both random that I am here, and good that some interaction is happening.
I'm not going to pretend like I'm definitely back or anything, but I wanted to check in while I was awake. Finish up Zorc's latest Armor request. See how things and you guys are, and all that good stuff.

Bi- Er, fairly well overall. XD Lots of hanging out and various social situations. Leon just met Flandre and had a tussle with her, and that was fun. ^^

This second? Listening to some Daft Punk and playing some baseball.
Lately, on the whole? Bought the new Total War: Rome II...that's been eating some time. Been working on another Guild idea in rare, free moments...something to keep the creativity going. ...Listening to more Daft Punk, I guess? XD
Nothing too special. I have Zorc keeping me pretty well informed on what's going on around here, though. So I at least have some idea what's been happening. I like knowing that even if I am not here, things will still happen around here.

This one cost me about 20, I think it was... Say hello to the very first Misha. ^^
Also, Rednal. I think Artists would rather charge lower prices then have no clients at all. Balance. o wo

That is really pretty damn good work...but I just don't see myself spending real money on a commission like that. Especially not that much. ...Unless that artist were my literal employee...which, of course, I'd have to be rich to have employees.
Too many artists on Gaia who will work for gg to spend real money, I think...but having said that, if it's worth it to you, nuts to what anyone else thinks. Even me.

Eh, for the time put in, it's not that bad. XD Although some of the GG artists can be a bit... odd? Or have really packed schedules and all. XD;
'Course, we've all given you loads of GG over time, so it's probably easier when you can afford stuff...

I've just had too many bad experiences with pissy Gaia artists. A lot of them (at least when I used to commission them) tend to be really full of themselves and have no idea how to handle commissions properly.
But hell, with all the excess gold I have lying around, maybe I'd be willing to give it another try. o wo
I guess I'd better not tell you how much I paid for that art of Leon and Razgriz. XD

They can be odd, definitely. And highly, highly unreliable.
Still, I'll wade through a little chaff to get to the good stuff if it's important to me. -shrug-
And yeah, that certainly is the truth. The flip side of that coin is that there's really no use for gg at all except that sort of thing...so unless I want the work I put into creating all the junk that I got paid for to go to waste, I pretty much have to search out artists to do some work for me with it...XD
@Stick: True that...8 out of 10 Gaia artists I've ever commissioned either didn't complete the work, disappeared entirely, or took weeks/months on a 1-3 day commission. A couple were pretty excellent about getting the job done, but eh...that's rare.

I've just learned to relax and not rush the process. XD If I REALLY want something done, I pay actual money for it. I can a few dollars for something really nice. ^^

Indeed. It was mostly like that, actually.
I'm currently got an artist working on a picture of Final Leon, as I may have said before. I just need to wait and see if he'll actually do it. I haven't heard back from him since he said he'd take it.
I haven't paid anything yet, though, so I got no right to be pushy about it. Anyway...
