Zelexia So what's happening with everyone now? Anything nifty or spiffy? I came to work, thought I would be very hungry, but then...I entered the kitchen to put my food away in the fridge...and I saw it...on a table... ...a big bowl of free salad and some sodas! emotion_dowant Then, I opened the fridge door and there were these big trays of baked ziti and meatballs! emotion_drool I don't know what the occasion is/was, but free food at work is always good. gaia_kittenstar

My manager one time had a craving for taco bell. So he ordered 20 boxes of 5 different tacos for everyone.^^ and the other time he ordered a bunch of medium pizzas from Dominos for us. >.> I wonder when he works again.
o good gawd tonight is a draaaag at work. Someone save me from this boredom!! ---

I threw my back out again yesterday morning. Have a bit better mobility today, but it still hurts badly. Hoping this will pass soon. I got stuff to do.

Vickicat Nope, we just get it because pharmaceutical reps want the doctors to buy their medicines so they bring free food. We also get coffees and smoothies from them. And because I used to work in the lab, I still get to go out to dinner when the lab rep invites us. Which is awesome because he pays for everything, and it's usually expensive food and drinks. If there are any job openings, let me know. I can't turn down free food. surprised

It's a similar situation at my office. I am a Dental Lab Tech and we are constantly having dental equipment reps come into our office with free food. One guy always brings like 12 donuts with him [there are only four of us at my office] and then another sales rep usually brings a huge thing of pretzels or cheese balls [way random]. Schmoozers, the lot of them. n_n
