Disturbing Tale Teller "I don't see what had been great about it..." Kankuro mumbled, making little work of his waffles. He soon came up behind Zaku and wrapped his arms around him, setting his plate into the sink. "I'll wash them when we get home..." he murmured, resting his chin on the other male's shoulder. Deidara smirked and shifted, brushing a small kiss on the arm Sasoru had resting half-way behind his seat. "Wha? You don't like it, un?" he asked, still smiling. "I'm only telling the truth, ya know, un..." he looked ahead as they started to head off on the road. ((I'm so bad --U....)) The red head blushed, pulling back his arm to place both hands on the wheel as he shifted from 'Reverse' to 'Drive' and started forward down the road. "Neh! Don't do that now while I'm driving, I could get distracted an make us wreck..." Sasori scoleded, a faint tinge still on his cheeks as the car momentarily stopped at a light.Gaara blinked awake at the sound of the intercom crackling to life. He frowned slightly before sighing, grabbing his pillow (aka hs messenger bag) and slipping out of the tree. He took his time in getting out of the oak tree, lazily landing beside the trunk. He gave a smirk as he caught sight of a certain pale-eyed boy in the corner of his eyes. "Hello there Princess..." The people in the office seemed to by extremely impatient since the familaar crackling started up and an urgent voice called again for the red head.

Deidara continued to smile, giving an 'alright, alright, un' and settling back in his seat. As they continued on, he noted an accident being cleaned up as they got closer to the school. "Wonder what happened, un..." he mumbled, watching a used-to-be decent-looking car be hitched up to a tow truck.

Sasori gave a small, uncomfortable squirm, focusing his eyes on the road as the drove past the accident. "I hope noone was given fatal injuries..." the red head mumbled as his car pulled into the parking lot. The car was put into 'Park' and then turned off as Sasori pulled the keys out of the ignition. "See, now would have been a better time for the whole affection thing..." The male gave a blink, sputter and blush as he realised what he had said, "That wasn't supposed to be said outloud!"

Deidara raised an eyebrow and smirked, turning in his seat to look at Sasori. "Oh, un?" he asked, un buckling his seatbelt and leaning over. He'd locked the doors while they were riding, and they were still locked. He grabbed the redhead's hand and kissed the back of it, azure orbs looking up at the smaller male, still, while he did it. "What's so distracting about that, un?" he asked innocently.

Zaku had also woken up in a very uncomfortable bed in a white room, his head wrapped and his arm in a cast. He yelled at the doctor until he was given the okay to leave, but now that he could, he was just lazing on his bed for the moment. He was quite surprised when the door opened and Kin came in.
"Leave it to you to go through an accident like that and come out with barely a scratch." Kin said and giggled as she walked over to stand beside her friend. "I was on my way to the school when I saw it happen."
"Looks like you don't have anything to pick up now." Zaku said with a scowl. "I worked my a** off for years to get the money for that car and it's gone just like that! I hope the b*****d that hit us was killed, if not then I'll go fix that." He rubbed his head and groaned, then remembered that he hadn't been alone in the car. "********, is Kankuro alright?!" He jumped out of the bed and pulled on his boots seems he'd already dressed earlier.
"Is that the boy that was with you? I think he's still in the ICU, he was banged up pretty bad."
With that, Zaku was out of his room and running down the halls to try and find his boyfriend.
Neji glared up at Gaara for a moment before returning his gaze back to his book. "You're being called, or are you deaf now? It sounds like something important so you better get your a** moving."

A nurse eventually stopped Zaku and asked him what he was in such a hurry about. She told him which room Kankuro's was, but warned him that he was only allowed a few minutes.
Kankuro'd closed his eyes after a bit, drifting in and out of sleep. The next time he opened his eyes, they moved back to Zaku's guitar case. I hope he's alright... he thought, wordlessly staring at the instrument case. He was numb enough he couldn't feel them, but on top of his broken bones and concussion, he had several cuts that they stitched up and wrapped up. His head looked like some demented gauze ball. He had a few cuts on his face, and he looked like hell.
I'll get a job when they let me out... I'll start saving up... I'll get him a new car... Kankuro thought, his eyes closing again. It wasn't like he had much to do but nap and stare around the room.

Zaku paused a moment outside of Kankuros door, unsure of what he'd find inside. While a nurse had told him that he was in stable condition and would be fine, he was still shaking with nerves. After taking a deep breath, he opened the door and went in. Seeing that Kankuros eyes were shut at the moment, he assumed the boy to be asleep. He quietly walked over to the bed and sat in the empty chair beside it.

Kankuro heard the door open. His eyes drifted open when he heard someone sit down beside the bed, and then he froze when he saw Zaku. "Hey..." he mumbled, blinking a bit. "You look like s**t..." he slowly moved his good arm over to rest near the other male. "They rescued you guitar... I don't know if it's damaged, but i'll fix it, if it is... I'll get a car for you, too..." he was mumbling out his thoughts, mostly, but he wanted to tell the other male his plan.

Zaku got up and leaned over Kankuro and started kissing him, gently so not to hurt him. "Don't worry about the car, Kankitty, I've got insurance. And who's the one who looks like s**t?" he picked up a mirror that sat on the side table and held it up. "You're worse than me." he set the mirror aside again, and leaned down to give his boyfriend another kiss. "I was scared shitless when I saw you all covered in blood and not moving. Don't ever do that to me again, got it?"

Kankuro'd given a small groan when he saw his reflection in the mirror, then returned Zaku's kiss as much as he could. "Wasn't planning on it, in the first place..." he mumbled, giving a small sigh. "The doctors didn't tell me how you were..." he looked to the other male, eying the head wraps and cast. "I'm sorry..." he said, almost a whisper.

"It's not your fault, Kankitty, it's the bastards who hit us." Zaku brushed his lips over a smaller cut on Kankuros face and gave him a smile. "Looks like I get to play nurse until you get better. Too bad that means no fun for us for awhile. Doesn't look like you'll be moving anytime soon. Don't worry though, I'll do my best to make you feel better."

Kankuro allowed himself a small smile, moving his good arm again to take Zaku's hand good hand in his own. "You're hurt too, so you should take it easy..." he murmured, giving his hand a light squeeze. "But i'm sure Temari'll be glad the house will be silent for a while...."

"We'll have to make up for that when you get better. How often have I been quiet since you've known me? I can always find reasons to make noise." He pulled away from Kankuro and grabbed the sheet that was over him and smiled. "I'm a fast healer so don't worry about me." he then yanked the sheet down, smirking a bit when he saw Kankuro in one of the johnnies. "Damn, you really are beat up, aren't you? What else is wrong with you?"

Kankuro made a slight noise of discomfort as his body, covered in the thin excuse for cloth of the hospitol gown, was exposed to the cold. At least his casted arm and leg would be warm. "Cracked leg bone, broken arm, and... a few broken ribs, I think..." he mumbled. "The doctor didn't say anything else when he came in here. I'd've asked to leave, but seeing how I can't really move, anyways..."

"Broken arms are nothing." He said holding up his own left arm that was in a cast. "I'm just worried about those ribs of yours. Moving must hurt like a b***h." Grinning, he moved closer, one hand moving to rest on Kankuros thigh near the bottom of the gown. "I can kiss everything better for you."
