Lena had stood and begun to wash glasses, while waiting for Liam to return. She glanced over to where he and the other boy were and noticed how close they were and bit at her lip and quickly looked back down to the glasses she was washing, feeling slightly uneasy.

The boy laughed, low and soft, in the back of his throat.
"What an . . . . intriguing thought, even if I'm interpreting it wickedly. But alas, no. We're different, you and I. I know you are."
He brushed Liam's forehead, gently, murmuring,
"But there are some differences that are not good, and I wouldn't want to frighten the lovely lady. Perhaps another time. I will see you again, lovely."
With that, he stole a kiss, just gently, and was gone. The door creaking closed behind him.

Liam stood there a moment, dazed. He blinked several times before shaking his head, still barely registering that the other had left.
After another moment he turned and grabbed the glass and bottle of wine, returning to the counter slowly. I...am so confused...he mumbled to Lena as he slipped next to her.

Lena set down the glass she was washing and turned to Liam, she let out a sigh before saying "I.... I'm sorry....." she pushed her hair from her face as she continued "I wish there was something I could do.... but, I just don't know......"

Liam swallowed hard and looked to Lena, tilting his head slightly. Are...you upset with me? he asked softly.

"No.... of course not..." she insisted, shaking her head. She moved foward and hugged him tightly as she continued "I just wish there were something I could do.... to make you less confused....." she let out a nervous laugh before saying "if that even made any sense....."

Liam smiled down to Lena and nodded, kissing her lips softly before he spoke. It made sense...but you don't have to do anything to help me understand. I just...don't know where he came from...he laughed, nuzzling Lena again.

Lena nodded and rested her head against Liam as she said "I didn't even notice him come in...."

I did...He admitted, blushing as he pet Lena's head. It was...weird. he told her. His hand rested on her shoulder a moment as he kissed her forhead.

"He seemed kinda wierd....." she looked up at him and nodded slightly as she spoke before resting her head against him once more.

Liam paused then chuckled. Yeah...he did, didn't he? he said, smiling to himself and nuzzling Lena.

Liam smiled as Lena kissed him, and held her close a moment to let the kiss linger. Do you happen to have nachos? he asked, laughing to himself as he broke the kiss for the question. I'm...so hungry! he continued on, amused by himself as he held Lena close.

Sophia had taken a seat on one of the bar stools as she watched Liam and Lena. They seemed very happy around each other, and the muse was...well...a little envious...
'Chances are I'll never find a guy who likes me. Who would want a nerdy, muse Lolita who likes to read, do research, fool around with computer graphics, and inspire humans?'
"I would."
Sophia grabbed her head and grimaced; why wouldn't this voice leave her alone?

Lena laughed and shook her head as she said "No... I haven't eaten anything today.... and I don't remember the last time I had nachos....." she thought for a moment then said "I'd offer to fix you something to eat.... but I'd rather not risk you eating my awful cooking.... I kinda like having you around...." she smiled slightly and let out another laugh.
