Riley made a face as he opped the brownie in his mouth, not quite appreciating it's flavor. Maybe brownies aren't my thing. he laughed, shaking his head as he took a long drink of his chilly chai.

Lena laughed a bit at the face Riley made "I guess you have to really like chocolate...." she said before taking a sip of her drink.

Maybe, Riley agreed, shrugging some. I like chocolate from time to time, but maybe the chocolate in this was enough. he laughed, shaking his head.

Aiji smiled to Greta before lauhing. This is a brownie shake, s/he said with a grin before taking a drink from h/er thick straw. Hey, you wanna go to the gardens or something? It's like, supposed to be real pretty there.

Heh - You and me both! Riley tried to joke, feeling a little foolish about it all. Erm...well...If you have anything else on your mind you'd like to get out, I'm all ears. he offered, smiling a goofy, definitely family smile as he tugged on his ear.

Greta looked to Aiji, disgusted. Brownie shake? That's nasty! She shook her head rapidly as if trying to shake the thought of something so gross. Gardens, huh? she asked, tilting her head. Like with flowers and s**t?

Uh, yeah, Aiji said, looking to her. And trees and birds and s**t, too. And this isn't so bad. It's like, a mint brownie shake. It's like, pretty good. So let's go.

Unfortunately I think that comes from our mother. Well, it's possible it comes from his father, too, but I'm not sure. he laughed, shaking his head as he shifted again, sipping from his drink. I was actually referring to anything else you needed to get out. he told Lena, offering a smile.

"Well honestly, other than that.. I really don't have any problems...." Lena said with a nervous laugh before reaching forward to pick up her drink and take a sip. "I suppose I should consider myself pretty lucky.." she said "at least all I have to deal with are some relationship issues... it could be much worse...."

It could indeed be much worse...Riley agreed, pondering that a moment. I can't really complain either - my relationship problems are all that vex me. Other than that I'm pretty happy. he laughed, blushing faintly as he shifted to look towards the pastry display to see if there was anything he could snack on.
