Suddenly, the demon starts twitching, shaking uncontrollably, as the music plays havoc in it's ears.
"What are you doing?! STOP THAT!"
The demon grabs his ears, dropping Hartley from about 60 feet in the air.
"Not my best ideaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-"

*Chris whips his cable claw upwards and snags Hartley around the waist. He pulls himself upwards, snaps his wings open, glides up, and catches Hartley.*

*Gliding while holding Hartley near impossible. Why couldn't his stupid armor just fly?*
ACHILLES!! CATCH!!!
*Chris drops Hartley into Achilles's arms and crashes into the ground.*

*He bounces to a stop eventually.*

Hartley excuses himself out of Achilles' arms and regathers his composure.
The song seems to have retreated back into the back of his head, where it belongs...Hartley looks at his fingertips. They're chalk-white.

Cassie is on her knees and gets up slowly.. she's pretty dizzy and is stumbling around only to be caught by Achilles.
