[Laan .:. Skies]
"No doubt these resources and information come at the cost of cooperation, which too many times goes hand in hand with obedience. That aside, I have a lot more in common with Alice than I do with your master, Ajora." The deathknight slowly turned his head to Lettie, a creepy half-smile present on his face as he said, "However, if there is a Replica who can defeat me, it would be Ajora. His dominion of both Light and Darkness grants him an advantage over the other Replicas and pseudo-Replicas. On the flipside, my powers of Death make me a valuable ally, especially if the longterm goal is the destruction of everything." The deathknight turned his attention forward again as he added, "Open a portal to your master. I will speak to him directly."

[Alan :: Angel Grove Streets]
"I agree with the Maester," Alan said. "Hotwiring a car should only take a second using magic, but a paucity of navigable paths is bound to become an issue. Are there substantial objections to using a portal? If not, we should do that. Otherwise, we'll consider driving a second-best option. Oh, and for what it's worth, I can drive."

[Amy : Angel Grove]
Amy conceded with a nod of her head, placing her hands casually behind her head in her Sora-styled pose. "It's fine with me. Dark portals are a means of transportation. I don't see how they can taint your heart."
Unless you want to be tainted, she thought, but didn't add.
It all rested on Demyx now. Funny, the guy was practically useless up until now. Axel was their go-to Nobody. Now they needed him.

[ Lettie : Skies over Hawaii -> Skies over the Caribbean ]
Lettie's own smile seemed to falter mid-dialogue as Laan spoke, but was back once again by the time he'd come to finished. In moments, a good distance ahead, a Corridor of Darkness opened up, large enough to take both of them and their Unversed mounts. With them flying as fast as they were, it was only a matter of time-
- before they flew through, appearing a mile or so above the Flying Dutchman and the following Endeavor.
"He is currently in the Captain's Quarters with Elleon. If the crew gives you any trouble... well, have fun."
With that, Lettie gave a light, playful chuckle before disappearing into a Corridor all her own, apparently off to play spy yet again.

Jacob ll Crow's Nest
"Don't worry," Jacob said, looking out past Noelle to the fluffy clouds passing overhead. "I'll stick around for a while. There are some pretty rad people here. Now, I know it's totally inappropriate, but if I want to be a big hero and save everyone, I'm going to need to work out so ummm....yeah. Just keep talking while I destroy my abs and arms. Besides, there'll be plenty of time to rest before we see those goons again." Jacob rolled back and reverse vaulted out of the crow's nest before quickly catching himself, dangling quite a way's up above the deck. He hoisted himself up and starting inching his way around and around the crow's nest.

[Laan .:. Skies over the Caribbean]
The deathknight wasted no time in angling Nithhogr downward, plummeting swiftly towards the Caribbean waters below. Just as the Dutchman came into view, the dragon Unversed angled back up, breaking its speed shortly before hovering to the deck of the Dutchman.
Laan hopped off of the beast and made his way through the confused and bewildered pirates as he reached back towards Nithhogr, twisting his wrist as the shape of the creature began to change. Form manipulation was, after all, one of Laan's main tricks, allowing him to create Anti-form when he was only half of Cory's heart. Nithhogr fell in on itself, contorting and folding into a humanoid appearance. Nithhogr now stood at ease, a cocky grin on his face as he slid his hands into his pockets and obediently followed after Laan.
The deathknight made his way to the captain's quarters, following the undeniable stench of darkness all the way to its doors. Nithhogr kicked the doors in and entered, standing by the exit as Laan entered to find Ajora and Elleon. The deathknight stood at ease, his arms hanging loose at his sides as he shifted his weight onto one leg. "Ajora and Elleon, I presume?"

((I have permission from Kyle, don't worry. n_n))
{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Angel Grove .:. City}
Demyx stared around at the kids, mouth agape at the various suggestions of him opening a portal to the Hawaiian island. Right about then was when he noticed Cloud behind him, and the Nobody jumped about a foot in the air.
"What!?" he yelped, pack-pedaling a few steps and shaking his head vehemently. "Noooo way. You got the wrong guy for this!"
"You're the only one here who can get us there in time," Bobbi pointed out, holding back a smirk. She wasn't about to let him slither his way out of this, and she was pretty sure no one else would, either.
"But... I mean, I don't even know where this village is! How am I supposed to open a portal there if I don't know where to put the other end?"
Demyx continued looking around at everyone, and almost wet himself when he saw the look on Seymour's face. The Maester somehow managed to look amused and annoyed at the same time. Like it would be highly entertaining to see how crispy a certain Nobody could get before he did what they wanted... Demyx recognized the signs of danger, and gulped audibly.
"Um... Well, on the other hand, what's the worst that could happen? Heheh... I'll just... go make that portal now. Um... over there..."
With that, the Melodious Nocturne walked a few feet away from the group to clearer ground, muttering under his breath the entire time. Within a few short moments, a Dark Portal opened in front of the Nobody, and Demyx stood to one side, bowing ironically to invite everyone to cross.

[Cory .:. Angel Grove .:. City]
"So everyone's just gonna dip their hearts in darkness, huh?"
Cory casually walked up to the group with his hands in his pockets, having come out of his own Dark Portal in time to see Demyx's own. He couldn't help but grin at the Melodious Nocturne, pointing at him and saying, "You owe me for getting me killed, by the way."

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Angel Grove .:. City}
Demyx looked over at the guy who just popped out of another dark portal, and raised a sardonic eyebrow. He had to think for a while before he even remembered what Cory was talking about. There were too damn many of these kids...
"Oh, right, you," he said after a bit. "Yeah, totally, I agree. How does about five munny sound?"
Bobbi stared for a while at Cory, not sure what to make of the figure in front of her. She had some pretty distinct memories of him dying, and he just said he'd been killed, and yet here he was, right smack there in front of her. Wait, she remembered him in a fight after he died, and when Rae--
She hastily re-routed her thoughts to rainbows and butterflies, because she still couldn't deal with the loss of her friend, and she needed to keep stable from now on.
And then Demyx opened his mouth, and she snorted so hard she about lost a lung through her nose, and covered her laughter by coughing. That and the snort really hurt, so the coughing wasn't all smothered laughter.

"Something tells me that if I agreed to that, you still wouldn't be able to pay up." Cory couldn't help but grin as Bobbi seemed to have trouble laughing, but he wasn't there to pick on snorting women. "Demyx, we both know you're not half as stupid or goofy as you pretend to be. You're a nobody- logical. Some of these losers have already used a dark portal once today, and they don't exactly have a strong resistance to darkness. If you let them use that portal, at least one of them will become stained by darkness."

[ Seymour : Angel Grove : City Streets ]
"Do you have another recommendation, then? Something worth the time we're currently wasting?" Seymour asked, turning to see Cory with an amused glanced. "Or are you merely stalling for time, having sided with Ooze? Your allegiance can hardly be considered static."

[Cory .:. Angel Grove .:. City]
"Speak for yourself, Seymour. My allegiance has always been to myself, not to Ooze or anyone else. I can't help it if sometimes my own goals fall side by side with what you perceive as a villain... Though I'm willing to bet a shady guy like you has a pretty twisted view of what a villain is, huh?" Cory spat at the ground and pulled his hands out of his pockets, cracking his knuckles before adding, "And as a matter of fact, I do have an alternate way of getting everyone to the other side of the volcano fairly quickly. It took a while to remaster my Extravaganza after getting the rest of my heart back, but I can get everyone over there in an instant if you're willing to trust me. Or..." He motioned to the Dark Portal before adding, "You can all bathe in darkness. Not my choice, after all."

[The Flying Dutchman ~ Captain's Quarters]
"Eh, makes sense," Elleon said nonchalantly, "A little unfortunate, but whatever, I'm not complaining. So let's get this show on the road--"
The blonde was interrupted by the door of the captain's office being kicked in. It wasn't hard to sense the dark being coming closer, so she didn't jump, or hardly react. Until she looked at him, that is. For all she knew, which was little, Cory himself had just boldly interrupted their meeting. Well that was brave. And stupid. For, at that moment in time, it didn't matter who the creep was, if he was going to start something he might have a bit of trouble against the two of them.
"'Scuze me," Elleon sassed, "But there was a perfectly good door to knock on before you, you know, broke it. You could've been walking in on all sorts of ungodly things."
[The Black Pearl ~ Crow's Nest]
Noelle sighed and rubbed her forehead. Boys . . .
'Quick, now's your chance, FLEE.' OH SHUSH YOU. You're so rude, he's a nice guy! 'He's odd--' QUIRKY! He's a good kid, Titan. A little persistant in the need to prove himself, but who doesn't want to do that? 'This isn't comforting. I'm not sure I like him as much as you do.' This means nothing. You didn't like ME when we first found out we were stuck to eachother. 'That was different, you were being rude.'
The agromancer rolled her eyes and gave up, laying down in the floor of the crow's nest. She curled up a little to keep warm and pulled up the hood of her jacket. Jacob had told her to keep talking, but she wasn't getting anywhere with him it seemed, so she decided to drop the topic.
"Hey Jacob," Noelle called, hoping he could hear her as he monkeyed around. "Where were you from back on Earth?"

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Captain's Quarters ]
Ajora merely chuckled at the scene, glancing between Laan and Elleon with an amused grin. Ah, right, he'd forgot to mention to her...
"Sorry about that, El, forgot to mention I was expecting company," Ajora said with a nonchalant shrug, bringing one of his hands out and motioning toward Laan's Unversed, Nithhogr. "And look, I think he can the Unversed transformation, too. Very interesting."
"Anyway~ Yes, you know our names- yours would be?" he asked, tilting his head to the side as he glanced at Laan. "Since I doubt you've taken on Cory's name, and it's just not very polite not to introduce yourself."

[Kyla: Angel Grove: Streets] Hot wiring a car didn’t sound promising at first, simply for the road blocks most likely to get in the way. Kyla thought of making a door, but it was best to save that for a seriously BAD situation. Besides, she didn’t have enough mana to make one anyway. She needed a good night’s rest, and start on a mostly full tank before starting.
Then there was Demyx. Up till now he seemed like a waist of space and twice as annoying. He was always popping in and out of battles, showing up at random intervals in their journeys then disappearing again..like some kind of.. meercat popping his head out of the ground every so often. In all honesty, Kyla hadn’t known the risks of Darkness Travel. In fact- they had used it already. Back when Axel was… when he was with them, that’s how Kichi, Alan, Kyle and Dani arrived and rescued her. They appeared through the dark corridor which he opened, and they took her back through without a problem.
Was it really that dangerous? Cory seemed confident of that fact. But Kyla was reluctant to use anything he offered. There would be a price, there’s always a price.
“ Strange… I didn’t feel a thing.” She muttered to herself, eying the portal with a look that said she didn’t have any qualms about using it again. In fact she would have marched right in- if it weren’t for the fact it she was terrified of being in darkness alone. If someone would come she would be just fine.
~ I’m here! I can just come out and WE can go in together, you know I won’t let anything happen to you right? ~
‘ But can you handle the erm…taint?’
~ Summons and people are different aibou, there’s nothing to worry about.~
Instead of answering Cory, Kyla just walked without looking back towards the portal. “Sorry Cory but- We’ll have to face our friends, whether we like it or not, we can’t avoid it forever. This is no different. They’ll be a time I’m sure- when the darkness will be even worse. If we can’t handle this...then-”
Kyla trailed off.
“I can’t be afraid of the Darkness.”
Boy did that sound familiar.
Then nodding to Demyx in thanks she entered the portal.
