"You know what, you're an idiot for saying anything like that!" Saraneth tied off a wound on his arm a little less gentle than she should, purposefully of course! "And as for your punishment, I'll make you live to a ripe old age." She patted his head. "Now stop crying. You're acting very... emo. I don't like emos very much. I prefer to be surrounded by happy vibes." Her smile was warm and caring, a complete contrast to his face. "Hold still, I'm going to transfer enough energy to you so you can start healing on your own..."
Saraneth held her hands over him, concentrating on the pool of energy she held at her magic's core, pouring the amber fire of her magic into his body slowly. If it worked, he would be able to at least sit up. If it didn't, it might backfire and knock her out. "I'd lend you a handkerchief... but I don't have on me."

Saraneth smiled at him, her glow unwavering. "I was like you once... until a friend of mine died to keep me alive. Only when a life is lost do you realize how precious it is." She stood up and closed the barrier... seemed like it was pretty safe... Oops! She suddenly tossed a hidden dagger from her wrist to behind her shoulder. A puff of dark mist rose away from the knife in the wall, and she walked towards it to draw it out again. "My very purpose of existence is based on a pillar of aid. I live to keep people alive as long as I can... that's my destiny." She pulled the dagger from the wall and replaced it at her wrist...
"I believe Garth Nix wrote a book about the Abhorsen... I'm a bit like them, I guess... but I don't return the dead to their graves. I keep the live out of them."

"Acid...Euh..." Saraneth sweatdropped, "That would explain this..." She looked at a little blister on her fingers. "That's a pretty effective weapon though. And it's kinda funny to have a name that's the street term for LSD!" She laughed and patted him firmly on the back. "You take care! I don't like dragging people out of trouble 24/7! But I love the job..." With a friendly smirk, she left the room.
"Hey, Marcus...." She looked up to the tall, ravenhaired man again. "Does your powers...uh... rub off easily?"

"Rub...off?" he said, rather confused at to what she had just asked him. If she was talking about how she had moved so fast it was beyond him as to how she had done that...it was surprisingly similar to his speed though, at least in the way she had used it. "Im not sure as to rubbing off......I suppose there always there, if that helps any" he said quietly, still totally confused as to what she had meant. However he was glad on the inside of the answer she had givin him as to his question.....she was telling the whole truth and couldn't have stated it better....he knew he would fail countless times before he would suceed but...he would work just as hard regardless of the outcome.

"Hmm... maybe I'm breaking apart again... ah well!" Saraneth slapped him on the shoulder jovially and grinned. "Well I think we should go out and get a shake or something! It'll be my treat! I heard there's a chain of really good restaurants near the campus. And there's a new ramen stand somewhere around there too!" She looked at him warmly, "You've been working way too hard, and you need to find an excuse to celebrate. We'll say this is for you getting Kinami reforged! I swear you have to take like a little lighter!" She took his hand and began to lead him away without even asking for his consent. Sara's charisma and strength were actually quite surprisingly good.

Marcus had no time to even speak as he was dragged off by Sara, off to wherever it was she was planning on having them eat, however sufficed to say he was rather hungry. "That Ramen sounds good.......yeah....delicious Ramen" he said drifting off as he begain to think of food, which besides training was the only thing constantly on his mind. In his head he could even smell the delicious noodles and various Ramen components, the beef...fish.....shrimp.....shrimp.....he ate alot despite his unusually thin build, which was manily due to the fact that he needed 10 times the energy of a normal person. "Sara I would race you there but....one I don't know where were going and two I don't think it would be fair" he said jokingly, lightening up slightly.

Sara laughed at him and gave her V-sign, for victory. "Don't worry about it! Chill out and I'll handle it." She skipped a little. Aside from a sandwich each morning and a few creps each afternoon, Sara didn't eat much of anything because of her excessive about of work. Right now, after her training, she was feeling ravenous as a wolf. Despite her 17 years of age, her childish antics often made her seem about 13... quite strange. Her pigtails bounced up and down, the curls at the bottom looking quite springy. "I'm starving right now, let's go!" With a skipping start she began to run a little. Her muscles hurt and stung, but she gritted her teeth against the pain. If she wanted to defeat the Gyrfalcon, she had to train as she did, and ignore certain hinderances.

Poof. Orange smoke. Razzer appeared just inside the doors of the training hall. Clapping his hands together, he found an empty water-training private room. "Let's get to work." he said to himself, striding over to the panel on the wall inside the door. It controlled the variables of the training room, such as the weather, whether or not there were enemies, etc. Razzer set the weather effects to a gale, and maxed out the number of enemies. In addition, he made the enemies as powerful as the computer would let them be (which, it seemed, didn't look that dangerous).
Pressing the start button, Razzer stepped away from the panel. Almost immediately rain began to pour from the high-ceiling in torrents. The water became very choppy, very quickly. The small island in the middle of the large training room was quickly flooded over by the water, as wave after wave smashed into it.
But there was no sign of any enemies... Razzer kept his guard up, looking around furtively for any sign of impending attacks. But there didn't seem to be anything... Baffled, Razzer turned to face the panel, to make sure that he enabled enemies.
Just then, the attacks began. Out of nowhere a throwing knife soared towards Razzer's turned back, slicing the water out of its way as it travelled. The mage ran the few steps towards the wall, and ran up it. He pushed away from the wall when his momentum began to slow, backflipping over the knife. Outstretching his arm, he grabbed the knife in midair, pirouetting spectacularly and flinging the knife back to its origin. Razzer landed on the surface of the rolling water, using his water manipulation powers to keep from sinking below the surface. Glancing behind him, he saw the knife reach the other side of the room and embed itself into the wall. A hand reached up through the water below and grabbed Razzer's ankle, attempting to pull him under. Smiling, Razzer summoned his powers and compressed the water directly beneath him, crushing whoever was below. The grip on his ankle loosened, and the arm vanished beneath the surface again. One down. There was a flash of computer-generated lightning, briefly lighting up the training room. Standing on the island, water beating against his legs, was a clone of Razzer. The computer must use copies of me to generate the enemies... the mage thought, as the clone of Razzer whipped out a spear and threw it with dangerous accuracy at his torso.
Not wavering, the real Razzer easily raised a simple water barrier. The spear struck the barrier, rippling its surface. It fell harmlessly into the water, sinking downwards. Smirking, Razzer reshaped the barrier into that of a javelin and launched it at the clone on the island. The clone was hit just below the ribcage, and let out a surprised gasp before vanishing into thin air. Two down...
This would be interesting if someone else was here to fight alongside me... Razzer thought to himself. Not that he couldn't take on the possibly endless number of clones, but it would be more fun if there was someone else...

Naomi, newly awoke from her nap, wandered towards the training hall. Her sword hung at her side as she glanced around, tiny wings tucked against her back. She was checking out of curiosity mainly. She'd told her parents she'd come to train, yet she hadn't done anything of the sort. So, it was about time she got something done. She sighed quietly, pushing the doors open and slipping inside.
First she started to make her way towards the front counter to see if she could find a room to use, but some noises attracted her attention. It sounded like... rain? Inside? Her eyes widening slighlty in confusion, she slowly stepped towards the doors the sounds seemed to be coming from, and set a pale hand upon the handle. For a second she simply stood there, and then she pushed it open and peeked her head in.
Her eyes widened further now, as she saw a familiar tentacle. Except, there was only one! Her mouth fell open, catching some rain as it poured from the ceiling. It looked like Razzer except he had arms and legs! She blinked a couple times and then shook her head, spitting out the water that'd filled her mouth. She wasn't sure whether to step in or leave him to his own training. He looked like he'd picked a rather vigorous course though.. Maybe she'd get some more healing practice done as well? She kept the door only slighlty cracked, enough for her to peek inside, as she watched silently.

Another clone appeared from below the water, just in front of him. It shot up into the air and attempted to roundhouse kick Razzer in the teeth. At the same time, a clone appeared behind Razzer, and flung a kunai. Almost laughing at their stupidity, Razzer used the water to launch him like a rocket backwards over the kunai-throwing clone. The kunai struck the surprised-looking clone that was in front of Razzer, and he fell. The mage landed behind the other clone, who spun around and tried to stab him with a kunai. Razzer grabbed the kunai and flung it behind him, a second later hearing the kunai striking the door of the room. He jumped back from the kunai-wielding clone and sped up the rain falling towards the clone. The droplets began to strike the clone like bullets, and he was quickly downed. Three and four. Razzer turned to pluck the kunai from the door, when he noticed it was slightly ajar. The eyes of a slightly shocked looking girl were staring at him through the crack.
"Naomi?" Razzer yelled, even though she was mere inches from him. The sound of the rain was deafening, so one had to yell to be heard. Razzer reached over and hit the pause button on the console before any more clones attacked. The rain froze in midair, the waves at midpeak. He pulled the door open.
"Naomi, it is you!" he said, slightly less loudly.

Naomi watched, still peering through as she saw the clones attack Razzer from either side. She had to admit though, she was pretty impressed. She hadn't seen him fight before, so she hadn't known what to expect. It looked like he'd do fine though. She bit back a startled cry as a kunai slammed into the door, and Razzer shortly after came to retrieve it. But before she could pull away and pretend like she hadn't been there, he'd said her name. Then the door was jerked open, revealing her without a doubt.
She froze for a second, mostly because she was amazed that the rain had somehow stopped in midair, and then shook herself out of it. "O-oh..." she began uncertainly. "I'm sorry to interrupt.." She smiled awkwardly, rubbing at the back of her head.

Razzer smiled. "Don't apologize, Naomi!" he looked behind him at the training room, frozen as if it was a three-dimensional photograph.
"Say... you up for a fight?" he asked, smiling. Other than heal, Razzer wasn't sure what else she could do, and was curious to find out. "I could use a partner to fight alongside me..."
He swung the door wide open and turned to face the training room. There was a clone lurking in the top far corner of the room, ready to attack. How he got up there, Razzer wasn't sure, but he wouldn't be there much longer once the mage hit resume. Another clone's head was just beginning to poke out of the water to the left of the island.
"So, you up for it?" he asked again, turning to look at Naomi.
