The beggar would stare at the food, before slowly inching closer. He picked up the loaf of dark bread and nibbled at it. Slowly, he took bigger bites, and bigger bites. After he was done with the loaf of bread, the water was quickly chugged, and the stew followed. The man was still gaunt, but he moved quicker this time. He grabbed the generous man. "More More. I'm still hungry. I need more!" He almost screamed hysterically.

In the shadows behind Zypher, a figure would move, following as a shadow himself. He couldn't quite be seen, but it was impossible not to miss the keen feeling of being watched. When it was silent, his breath could be heard.

Tempest looked through some books in the library reading up on poisons and cures for them. She had to know the prperties of poisons in order to extract them. Some attacked different part of the body and by concetrating her energy at the right points could be able to extract the poison quickly.

Zypher was making his way quickly back to the castle at this point to tell of what he had found out. He was sure that Lord Lupus or Dracien had already told the queen of some detials of the attacks but at this point Zypher just wanted to be there. Something in the back of his mind was bothering him.
Stopping short he couldn't shake an immpossibly horrid feeling of being fallowed. Stilling himself he closed his eyes. Breathing and only breathing could be heard. It wasn't his own breath though..... Like a blur his daggers were drawn as he moved swiftly out of the streets and into barren lands.

A dark presence grew as Zypher ran out of the city streets and into a field void of person for a good distance.
"Creature of shadows.... Come out and play why don't ya...." Zypher said. There was bloodlust coming from the presence. Zypher didn't like the feeling he was getting from it.

Tempest felt a shiver go down her spine in the library.
"Something doesn't feel right...." Tempest said looking around. She put her books down and began looking for the queen. If she couldn't find the queen she would at least check on the children.

The creature in the shadows walked out of. . . nowhere. there wasn't anywhere for him to hide. One minute he wasn't there, and the next, he was. It was a nobleman, with a devious smile planted on his face. His jet black hair was slicked back. "You really aren't very good with manners. Creature of shadows, my foot. I'm a simple assassin by trade, as you are." The nobleman replied. There was an aura of death around him, an aura of suffering.

The gaunt man would watch the blade with apparent disinterest. "Your one of them aren't you?! The cupcake makers! makers. . Cup cake! So. . . hungry." the gaunt man would blather on, with no apparent rhyme or reason to his methods. He lunged at the nameless man, staggering toward him much like a zombie.

His head tilted slightly as he looked about the empty area. Why was he looking for somewhere to hide, he would close his eyes a moment as he took a step back, lowering his weapon. Why was he lowering it? Because that was further away from the glutton's mouth. "Stay away!" He shouts, sharpened teeth barring together as that fear quickly grows into anger. He would grasp that weapon, it points the opposite direction he faces down at his left side.

The man didn't seem frightened. "You should already know the awnser to that. It was for the queen's beneift after all. She has sooo many enemies, after all. It couldn't hurt to take care of a few, but that's not why I'm here. I deliver a simple warning." The man replied, while shining the cuff of his coat. His own voice was mocking, sarcastic, and simply unpleasant. He made no move towards Zypher.

The man made no attempt to stop. Instead, his speed almost doubled, despite his frail form. "I must eat!" The tattered rags flew about wildly. Just when the man was within attack range, he tripped flying towards the nameless's man feet with wild abandon.

Serenity followed with unmolested delight. She had an armful of shells in her hands, which she horded against her chest as if afraid of losing them. She skipped behind the Queen in obvious bliss. The bodyguard continued to follow them. He had a small smile on his face now.

Blink-blink. It seems that the enemy tripped, and a half-step back is taken, before it is then stomped down upon the hungry man's right forearm. But, before he can chomp on it, he would find that blade thrusting straight down into the man's skull, completely crushing it into obliteration. Meanwhile, that gaze was closed, and the attack was done completely on instinct. An eye would open and he would hop back, leaving the man and his crushed skull pinned to the ground.. that blade having gone half-way down its nearly blunt blade.
