Darius smiled as he flew her over to the river again rather quickly. When he landed he smiled lightly and looked at Liz.
"I'm back...so where...is..everybody..."
Darius turned to see that Lily, Holly and Emily had already gotten out of most of thier clothes...
"Ah....I'll be over there." Darius replied pointing over to the edge of the woods as he ran of to the edge stopping afterwords and not looking behind him so the girls could bathe quietly..."

Lily laughed as Darius ran off into the forest and the girls quickly finished washing up, then washed their clothes in record time before getting dressed again and finding Darius.
Emily smiled "Kay Darius you can go to the river now. We're all done." She said nodding as the other girls were already laying in the grass, trying to dry off from the little bit of sun that was comming down on them.

Darius turned back, glad to see that the girls had gotten back to their clothes and lying down to dry them selves off, and nodded. He then walked to the river and once again began to slowly but gracefully take his shirt off, avoiding his wings and placing it on the ground. The scars were covered with mud and Darius had not realized it. He was just happy at how the day had been for everyone.
He took of his jeans, leaving only his boxers on and then proceded to step into the cool water of the river and begining to scrub away the mud from his face, casually turning to the girls direction. He then began to wash the area arround where the scars had been, still not remembering they were there.

Emily gasped as she looked at Darius with wide eyes. "Darius. What happened?" He asked concerned, as she pointed to his scars, and the other girls there looked on wide-eyed as well.
Lily looked down at the ground, knowing that this had been comming, but she hadn't expected it to happen at the river. Not after they'd been having so much fun....She sighed and Liz patted her shoulder nodding a little as she knew what was going to happen here.

Darius looked up and blinked as he heard Emily's fearful question. He then looked to his shoulder and saw the remnants of that fateful day. He then looked down and saw the area around his chest where they had operated on him.
He looked up to the girls who were anxiously awaiting his explanation. While Liz comforted Lily. He wish he didn't have to say anything but he tryed to soften it up for Lily's sake.
"Oh that...." he began slowly, trying to grasp the right words to say, "Well....I was in a fight....."

"With who?" Asked Emily
"What happened?" Asked Andi
"Give us deatils!!" Exclaimed Holly as they waded into the water to look at the scars and shook their head. "Who ever did this to you obviously doens't have a decent bone in their body." Said Andi shaking her head.

Darius frowned as they looked at his scars, it looked like it just had gotten worse. Now they were asking more detailed questions making it harder for him to answer.
"Who ever did this to you obviously doens't have a decent bone in their body."
Darius quickly looked at Lily and then changed his view to the girls, sighing, "No, no, no it wasn't anything like that...I kinda started it...and...well....it was sorta...stupid and all...the reason we were fighting..."
He then took another quick glance at Lily hoping she was okay...

Lily heard Andi words as they hit her like a brick wall. She closed her eyes, shaking her head as Liz sat next to her, talking to her in hushed tones, telling her it was ok, that they'd understand....
Emily sighed. "Well I don't care if you started it or not. I'll bet whoever fought with you, hasn't any scars on them. You wouldn't be that mean....but whoever did this....scarred up the nicest guy on the planet. Well that's just not right. Tell us who did this. Come on Darius tell us the story...we're not going to stop nagging till you tell us the whole thing!"
"Ya come on Darius spill so we can go give who ever did this to you a good tounge lashing, and butt kicking as well." Holly replied joyusly.

Darius sighed as Lily sank...He didn't wish to see her like this, it really wasn't her fault. He was trying really hard to keep her name in.
"Girls, there is no need to do any butt kicking or tounge lashing or anything trust me on this! They have big scars too! It doesn't matter trust me! It wasn't thier fault!"
Darius, still loved Lily and he still wished to protect her...his scars would go away in time and hopefully hers would go as well...He didn't wish for her to gain more scars from her very own friends...

Lily sighed softly, shaking her head as Liz kept trying to comfort her, telling her it's ok, telling her it isn't her fault and that everything was going to be fine.
Emily shook her head. "Alright. Alright fine no butt kicking. But tell us what happened here Darius. You keep avoiding that part of the question here. Spill." The girls took their lead from Emily, as they started chanting 'Spill, spill, spill' over and over, pressing Darius to tell then what happened.

Darius started to find himself slowly leaning backwords as they tryed to get answers from him, but he really didn't wish to talk about it! He would rather die...They continued to repeat this and this slowly got into his head and began to drive him nuts.
He sighed slowly and softly answered, "Fine....I'll tell you...." he turned to Lily, his face crestfallen, "Do you want me to just say it Lily?"

All the girls cheered when he said he would tell them...but stopped immidiatly when he looked to Lily for permission to tell the story.
The girls somber faces looked to Lily who nodded at Darius, keeping a set jaw and blank eyes, not letting the girls see just how badly this was hurting her inside.

Darius sighed lightly and looked to the girls, begging his long somber tale.
"It happened just after the tournament...I had just lost my match and had gone up to the roofs to relax. It was at this point that Derek came in and started to bug me about how Lily supposedly was unfateful...he had this picture of he and Lily kissing each other...that triggered the demon inside....I don't know what happened then but I ended up a little worse for the wear...then...I was told by this guy...that Lily didn't love me, that the love was gone...but I didn't belive him....that is....until she told me...."

The whole place was dead silent as Darius told his story. The three girls were listening intently, following every word, waiting impatiently for the next part to come.
When Darius finished, the girls looked to Lily, who was fighting tears. Seeing all that pain return to Darius and herself, it was like throwing salt on an open wound, causing her to almost flinch as she thought about it. So it wasn't her proudest moment...and now the girls knew.
They were torn now. What should they do? Appologize for what they said? Be understanding to Lily? Sympathize with Darius? Both? They didn't know, so they stayed where they were, simply staring at Lily through confued eyes.

Darius took a deep breath and slowly continued on.
"To be safe....I was shocked about this...for a short while there was a deep hole and depression in me...then Liz came...and...she helped me...I eventually went to Lily and tryed to find her and talk with her...she had just finished a grueling match of her own and she herself didn't look to good...but I found her training...with another guy...now the guy part I could live with...I mean...he helped save Lily from myself...but the fact that she was training when she was clearly not in good shape to do so...we argued about that and it soon turned into a challange at one of the arenas..."
