MISSION- Harbor of Rage
There is a group of Gyarados that are now controlling one of the biggest fishing resorts! Since no one can fish, there is an over population occurring! Your mission is to stop the Gyarados before anything else severe happens! (You will need to defeat 5 Gyarados! But watch out there are lightning rods everywhere so all electric attacks won't work!)

Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary water Pokemon that you fish for after the Gyarados have been defeated!

A huge blast of water came from the water floor. Sport took it full in the face, collapsing backwards. Soaking wet, he saw a huge sea creature rise up from the water. Smiling, he threw a Pokéball, and out came the electric type, Pichu. Not very experienced in battle, it tripped over its own feet and fell face first into the sand.

“Pichu, use Thunderbolt!” he said. Pichu’s cheeks crackled with electricity and a huge bolt rang from the sky. However, instead of heading towards the Gyrados, the bolt was captured by a metal pole raised from a building. The Gyrados turned towards the attacker and its tail whipped forward to hit both Sport and Pichu.

Both trainer and Pokémon flew backwards. Pichu flew into a building while Sport rammed headfirst into a beach chair. Sport’s eyes started to go black, and his head was hurting. Lifting his head up, I noticed that the beach was nearly empty. Turning to the city, he saw Pichu lying in the sand. Raising the Pokéball, he returns Pichu and places the ball on his belt.

Turning back to the ocean, he saw the Gyrados preparing to hit him with a devastating blow. Then, a movement behind it caught his eye. A Sneasel was dashing around the Gyrados, drawing its attention away from the trainer. The Gyrados turned its head and fired the attack at the Sneasel, who dodged. Things seemed fine for the Sneasel when several more Gyrados swam to the surface. Then, with voices rushing towards Sport, everything went black.

The next thing Sport knew, he was lying in a hospital bed. All his Pokémon were lying on similar beds, though only one seemed to be unconscious, Pichu. Looking at the rest of his Pokémon, he noticed Sneasel and Manectric among them.

“Manectric, I want you to talk to Sneasel for me.” he said. Manectric nodded. “Were you the Sneasel that saved my life?” he asked. Manectric translated for him, and Sneasel nodded. “I owe you my gratitude.” Sport said. Manectric translated again, speaking in a language only known by Pokémon. Sneasel said something back to Manectric, who said to Sport, “It was my duty to protect you.”

Sport stood up and walked over to the door, which was locked. Banging on the door, he tried to get someone to open it. Nobody came, but a voice issued from a nearby projector. “You need to stay here.” came the voice of an unknown person. “You broke a few bones and received a concussion from the attack.”

Pressing a button on the projector, he yelled, “No, I need to go stop those Gyrados!” “You need to stay here.” the voice repeated. “The Gyrados are being dealt with by other trainers, among which you will not be with.”

Sport slammed his fist against the projector. “Two things. If you don’t let me out, I guarantee that I can get out myself. Second, those Gyrados are smart. If you attack and take them out, a few will drop back and regroup. They will then return here and launch an all out war on Slateport City. I can prevent that from happening. I can give them a thrashing they’re entire group will never forget.”

The voice replied, “We have extremely powerful trainers here in Slateport. Also, if they do return, we can defeat them then.” Sport yelled again, “You don’t understand, do you? They’ll lie low for years, gathering more and more followers, and return to destroy the city! You have to defeat them now and make them leave for good.”

Sport was preparing to say more when the noise disappeared entirely from the room. A click echoed around the room. Walking to the door, he tried to open it, but it wouldn’t budge. Growling, he examined the room for an alternate escape. The only possible ways out were the window, the fire escape, and the vents. The door was shut tight, as it would only open when the fire alarm went off. The room he was in was too high off the ground, and with a few broken bones, he doubted it would do him any good anyways.

That left only one option. He had to crawl through the vents. returning all his Pokémon and grabbing his belt, he placed a chair up against the wall and reached for the vent. Knocking it open, the cover fell to the floor with a clatter, but he didn’t care. Hoisting himself into the vent, he began to crawl along.

He had been crawling for some time when he saw the first of the search party. Stopping where he was, he watched them cross his vision. Once they had gone, he resumed his crawl, stopping every so often when another search unit ran by.

He finally came to the bottom floor, which wasn’t very comfortable on himself or his body. He had had to drop down shafts to get to the next floor down, and the trip was taking its toll on him, but he was at the bottom at last. Kicking open the final vent, he dropped to the floor and walked over to the PC. He put away Manectric and Pichu, then took out Salamence and Porygon. Then, walking calmly out of the hospital, he heads towards the beach.

It took him about twenty minutes to arrive at the beach, during which time he discovered the extent of his injuries. He had indeed received a concussion, and he had broken bones in his left arm, which he had thrown out to protect himself, and his leg, which had taken the hit from the tail of the Gyrados.

Arriving at the beach, his eyes meet a scene of destruction. The beach chairs were thrown about, Pokémon were strewn about the ground, as were unconscious trainers. At least nine Gyrados were in the water, launching attacks at about fifteen Pokémon, some in the water, some hovering above it, and some on the beach.

Sport threw a Pokéball and out came his Porygon. He moved to engage one of the Gyrados just as two beach Pokémon were taken out, along with one floating in the air. “Porygon, use Tri-Attack!” he said. Over the other yells and attacks, Porygon barely heard him, but he released a combination of fire, ice, and electricity, which hit the chosen Gyrados hard.

The Gyrados turned to Porygon, launching a Hydro Pump which Porygon easily evaded. “Psychic!” Sport yelled. Porygon picked up the Gyrados, then threw him back in the water. Gyrados seemed unhurt from the attack and gathered its power, releasing it in a huge beam that his Porygon and knocked him from the sky, though it wasn’t quite defeated.

“Another Tri-Attack, then Shadow Ball!” Sport shouted. Porygon released another red, blue, and yellow energy ball that hit Gyrados, then followed with a large purple ball of dark energy that hit Gyrados, taking it out. The Gyrados fell back into the water, and another Gyrados took its place, taking Porygon out with Ice Beam. Sport returned Porygon before it could fall into the water, then sent out Metagross.

“Zen Headbutt!” he yelled. Metagross floated off the ground, rammed Gyrados, then took a hit and flew back to the beach as Gyrados used Thrash. “Rock Slide!” Sport said. Rocks poured from the sky, forcing Gyrados into the water with each hit and KOing it. Sport let Metagross relax for a bit, then sent him back into the fight when the tide started turning in favor of the Gyrados again.

Metagross flew over to a small island at Sport’s direction so he could better hit the Gyrados. “Zen Headbutt!” he yelled. Metagross rammed a Gyrados, then took a Hyper Beam, nearly KOing himself. “Zen Headbutt again, then Rock Slide!” Metagross rammed the Gyrados and poured more rocks down on it, nearly KOing it. Gyrados then released a huge jet of water that hit Metagross and KOed it.

Sport returned Metagross and sent out Salamence, who was able to fly out over the water and take Metagross’s place. “Dragon Claw!” he yelled. Salamence flew towards Gyrados, but missed just as Gyrados launched a Blizzard at Salamence, also missing. “Again!” Sport yelled, and Salamence flew towards Gyrados and smacked him with his claw, KOing it. Three Gyrados had been taken out by him, and one fell to the other seven or so Pokémon on it. Five of the original nine had been taken out, and one dove underwater in retreat. The other three were engaged at the present moment.

Salamence flew up to the next Gyrados and bit down with Ice Fang, trying to freeze it. It didn’t do much, and as the Gyrados took out a different Pokémon, it turned to Salamence and hit it with Hydro Pump. “Stone Edge!” Sport yelled. Sharp, jagged stones fell from the sky and continuously hit Gyrados. It was hit several times in the eye, blinding it. The Gyrados launched a final assault against its assailants and a Hyper Beam skimmed the skin of Salamence, doing a small amount of damage.

A Gyrados turned to Salamence, recognizing him as having taken out two of its clan, then launched an Ice Beam at Salamence, catching it in midair and knocking it out of the sky. Sport returned him as he was falling towards the water. “You fought well, Salamence.” he muttered to himself. He pulled his fourth Pokéball off of his belt and threw it, and Sneasel appeared.

“Shadow Claw.” he said. Sneasel disappeared in the blink of an eye, appearing next to the Gyrados and slashing at it repeatedly. Gyrados retaliated with Thrash, flailing about and smacking Sneasel. “Ice Punch.” Sport said. Sneasel hit Gyrados again, this time its fist moving forward and punching the Gyrados, freezing a small part of its head.

Gyrados attacked again with Thrash, smacking Sneasel again. “Shadow Claw.” Sport said. Sneasel slashed at Gyrados again as Gyrados hit it for a third time with Thrash, KOing Sneasel. Sport returned it and sent out Ralts. “Psychic.” he said calmly, not even worrying that he was down to his next to last Pokémon. Ralts picked up Gyrados and threw him into the small island that Metagross had recently occupied, and it took some damage.

The three attacks confused Gyrados, and the Psychic didn’t help. It tossed and turned about in the water. However, it was incredibly strong, and soon enough it had thrown off the confusion and launched a Hydro Pump at Ralts. Ralts took a direct hit and was nearly KOed.

“Psychic.” Sport said again. Ralts picked up Gyrados and threw it into the water. Sport turned around. “And that is that.” he said, just before a small, transparent beam hit his ear and froze it to his body. Quickly turning back to the water, he noticed the Gyrados was just emerging from the water and Ralts was KOed.

Returning it, he sent out his final Pokémon, which was Sharpedo. It flew into the water, and as Sport said, “Crunch,” it was already zooming through the water, its dorsal fin the only way to track it.

Sharpedo jumped up and bit Gyrados, making it fall. It took a last stand and fired a Hyper Beam before it succumbed to its injuries. Returning Sharpedo, Sport walked away and stumbled because of his injuries. Falling to the ground, he clutched his leg, before the doctors came and returned him to his room.

Hours later, the doctors let him out. His Pokémon were also healed, and he went back to the beach to lay his eyes upon the devastation caused by the night before. He noticed a Magikarp flopping about on the sand, and instead of flinging it into the ocean, he sent out Sneasel.

“Shadow Claw, but not too hard.” he said. Sneasel darted towards the Magikarp and slashed it. The Magikarp attacked back with Tackle, lazily ramming Sneasel. “Again.” Sport said, and Sneasel attacked again, with the same results. Sport pulled a Pokéball from his belt and threw it. The ball shook three times, then lay still. Grabbing it as he went by, Sport flew back to HQ on Salamence.

*backs away slowly*.....

*runs outa HQ trembling thinking to myself*

" i need to take a break and get outa here maybe a mission will be in order soon"

Pretty good. Nice details and a decent middle story. I would've liked to see a little more introduction and conclusion, though. The story just seems... abrupt... without them.
The other thing I saw was you occasionally used two consecutive attacks. I think that can be justified by Tri Attack's paralysis and Zen Headbutt's flinching side effects.

Maddy walked in, covered in snow. "I know snowstorms are awesome cuz they get me out of school, but this is just ridiculous..." Brushing the snow off, she jumped up onto the ceiling, just barely avoiding Charmander, who was trying to bite her head off again. "I think I'll go on a mission with you... Do some trainer and pokemon type bonding... or something..."

*I walk out of my office*
Me: Smash...

*Gets hit by a stick*
Me: The hammer head fell off.
