He has many powerful demons at his disposal, even if the old man isn't strong himself, the sword he has gives him an unbelievable amount of strength." Jin explained. He wasn't intimidated by it, but he didn't want Rydia going and possibly getting himself killed, that would... Be terrible, in his mind. "Do not. What happened happened, there is no need to fret over the past." He had a point, but still, it was understandable in some cercumstances. "Derrah lived here already, he is native to this world, and owned a Chocobo Farm. Once Desmond, as a baby, appeared there, he raised him as his own. In an unknown way, he learned of the legend of my father, and learned that Desmond was the son of Sparda as well, he worships Sparda, like a God, but he aims to use Sparda's power to take control of the world, so the world will be at peace. An admirable goal, but the means are wrong. Using demonic power to force men to follow him is not right, not that I can decide what is or isn't, but I know that isn't the right way to go about "peace"" At least, he believed so. He blinked as she held him a bit tighter, thinking about saying something, but... It sorta felt good... He had never been so close to anyone, and often spoke how he would never need any sort of attatchment to anyone, but... It actually felt... Kind of... Nice...     "Then how do we get the sword away from him? I have a few idea's, if we can get him distracted, I'm confident in my own weapon.." The Mystic Whip, she was really very good with using it, and also great at retrieving things from a small distance. "Or, a less threatening way I can work up a way to trick him, then while he's distracted take it from him and return it to you? " His words about the past, did stir up a memory of her own, but she said nothing of it. She had always tried to put it as he did, keep it in the past, and not be bothered by it. But who could forget there mothers death? Definitely not her. As he went on to speak more of Derrah, for some reason she had a hard time picturing this man living at a Chocobo farm. "What does you're brother think of Derrah? And you? Are you close now? " She hoped so, but then again she didn't even know if they had even seen one another yet in this world. As he went on, Rydia was now left in puzzlement. All this time she had thought this Derrah wanted nothing but to destroy the world like all of the other enemy's, or take it over. "This is strange to hear. I had thought he was only wanting to kill everyone just for his pleasure, like so many of these enemy's want to do. But I agree, it isn't right. ...Then...If he isn't such a dangerous person, perhaps it would be best that I talk to him, no fighting. Just talk, and see if we can get you're sword back? "

"I kill him. That is how I will obtain the sword. I do not want you involved." Yes, Jin was being rather protective of her, even if it did sound like he was doing this selfishly, no, he just didn't want her in any danger! "Stop worrying about my problems, I don't want you involved in this." He didn't want her in any danger.
"Close to Desmond?... No. I am close to no one." He said. "The closest I've ever felt to any being would be you." Well, he didn't seem to see a problem with saying that at all! It was the honest truth, so! "I do not know his opinion of Derrah, however it does not concern me. I can only guess he wants him dead just the same." Who knew the Wolves had sooo many problems? "Oh trust me. If the mood struck him, he would. There is no reasoning with this man, he murdered his own wife because she didn't see eye to eye with his religion. He would do all of us just the same if given the chance, don't try to talk to him, if he was once a man he has lost all humanity when he became obsessed with Sparda's power. He has given up so much in the aim of becoming a demon, like Sparda. Though he will never be able to achieve this. And even if he did become a demon, he doesn't understand that wasn't what powered my father at all. At least, I theorize this much. Sparda had a heart, a heart that could love a human, and that's what he'll never understand..." But, it seemed Jin might be on his way to undersstanding... Thanks to Rydia here... "We should stop speaking of this. Tell me something about your past, instead." That had to be a happier subject than his own! "Not very classy for someone's dying words..." Rydia sighed at that. How many times would one tell her not to get involved? She wasn't weak. At least that was how she saw herself. Maybe she was a bit like Palom and she ddn't realize it! How horrible that would be. "You are only wasting you're breath when you tell me not to worry of you're problems, because of course I will. And ...If trouble comes to you, I won't just run away, Jin. I want to be there to help you in any way that I can, I don't care of the risks.I've done much in my time to handle myself against any foe we may face. " Rydia then blinked, a little surprised at his words, and even happy.Not that she wanted him to be so..alone and not close to anyone else! It just made her feel special in a way. "I'm happy you feel that way.I could say the same for this world, I've only been very comfortable with you. For someone I never knew before, Somehow I feel so close to you."
Listening to all he said about Desmond and his opinion of Derrah, she didn't say much to that.But if he wanted him dead to, then...she wouldn't feel bad if she had ever needed to fight this old man."..I see..It is true, love can be far more powerful then all of the greatest threats it seems.." Pausing a moment as he suggested they stop speaking of his past, and go on to hers, she just shook her head again. "If you don't wish to talk about anything anymore depressing, then we shouldn't speak of mine ether. Let's just enjoy our selves, no worries or bad memories? "

Jin got a slightly irritated look at that. "Humans are so stubborn..." He said outloud. "This isn't your business, therefore, you have no right getting involved in it." He said, hoping that would work at least! "Strange indeed..." He commented, glancing away at that. To hide slight nervousness just at the subject!
He turned back to her at what she said next. "Perhaps. It is strange that an unseen force can be so powerful. I never understood it, but then, I've never felt such a way about anyone... In the past." He said, though that was slightly suggestive, he didn't even seem to notice, he was merely speaking how he was feeling. "It would be good for you to speak of your past if it troubles you, however, I will respect your wishes. Very well." He said, meaning he wouldn't ask her any further. If she didn't wish to speak of it, he would respect her wishes. "Not very classy for someone's dying words..." "Can a demon truly know Love...?" "Yes, yes we are when we know were in the right about something. You need to not worry so much. " Yes, she would not give up, or change her mind. But it wasn't as though she were talking about just right out going to find these enemy's of his. She simply said she would be there to help, no matter what if she knew something was going on. Then, she noticed his sudden bit of nervousness, which made her wonder a bit, maybe she shouldn't be saying so much like this.All she was doing though, was really just speaking how she felt.
Lighting her hold on his arm a bit, Rydia glanced at him with her own puzzled look. They were just nearing the largest Christmas tree in Edge, fully lit up and decorated, it was a beautiful site! ".....So...In the past? Does that mean you have someone you might like now? " She had to ask, so, in case he did have feelings for someone, well! She could back off and not try to be so...close. "I will tell you about it at another time, I don't mind telling you, it is just not a pleasant subject on such a day that is meant to be so calming..Surly you like to have some peaceful times, do you not? "

"Hmph. I am not worried, I merely don't want humans in my business." Yeah, that was a lie. Jin was worried, and he didn't discriminate by race, even if humans were the ones who damned him to the life he had, but still. He didn't hold it against all humans, he wasn't like that.
He glanced to her at her next question. Gazing into her... Well... Beauiful eyes, he blinked. He didn't realize humanity had such beauty. He ddn't realize anything could be so beautiful... "...P-perhaps..." He said, quickly looking away and adjusting the amulet around his neck, to look less nervous! Poor Jin wasn't exactly experienced in this field. Yeah, he obviously meant her. But he wouldn't pursue that, he knew no woman in the right mind would love a half demon, right? Though that turk did seem to harbor feelings for his brother, however, Cissnei didn't yet know Desmond was half demon. He didn't want to tell her out of fear of her leaving him. Understandable. "Peace... Less than a year ago such a word would seem but foreign to me. However, I suppose... It isn't as bothersome as I had figured would be..." He said, sighing softly at that. As they got just in front of the large Christmas tree, he slowly took his arm away from her, turning towards her, he held out his hand, and suddenly, an necklace, with a large, what looked to be Emerald in the middle of it, appeared in his hand, and he offered it to her. "Merry Christmas... Or whatever..." He said as he gave the amulet to her. It wasn't really an emerald, it was a demonic gem, most commonly used in marriage proposal... So he hoped he wouldn't have to go into detail about what it was, he might get nervous again, and that was so irregular and strange to him to get nervous over a simple human woman! Though, she was definatly more than that... To him... "Not very classy for someone's dying words..." "Can a demon truly know Love...?" "You make that sound like you're an alien from another planet..!" She said, though it was more of an obvious attempt to make some sort of joke out of the conversation, to lighten it up some.She really wasn't bothered by the half-demon thing with Jin, ether. Though that much was obvious by now.
Catching his blue eyes suddenly gazing into her own, well! She could feel herself blushing suddenly, though due to the night it may have helped to hide that from being noticeable. ".....May I ask...who? " This was certainly a new feeling for her as well. She had some hope he wasn't talking about anyone else but her, but, she could be wrong, and had she been wrong a misunderstanding would really be very crushing as well as embarrassing to her! Of course she had to make sure she was understanding this in some right way. Rydia nodded softly, she understood that, in truth, peace didn't exist very long and when it did it was something to treasure and hold onto as long as possible before it was gone.."No matter where we are peace will only exist for a short time, that is why I try to treasure those little times we do have to enjoy..Peace can be wonderful...............as long as these hats aren't so much as involved in it...right? " She said with a small giggling laugh!
Once they got to the tree, she just gazed up at it for a moment, though when he pulled his arm away Rydia glanced back to him curiously.Blinking as he held out his hand and to her surprise, a rather beautiful necklace appeared in it. The emerald was beyond words the most beautiful jewel she'd ever seen, and her favorite too! Though she didn't know it wasn't actually an emerald, and by looking at it she couldn't tell the truth about what it really was. So for now, he seemed lucky as she wouldn't ask questions! Taking it in her hand, The forest green haired women gazed at it a moment longer, before returning her attention back to him, a gentle smile on her features. "..It's beautiful...Actually, I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing emerald before. I guess coming from you only makes it that much more special and even more beautiful then any other gem. " Then something stuck her mind...
What was she going to give him! She didn't exactly know much about this day, so she was just as new to it as he was. And had no amazing powers to create things as he just did. "....I don't have anything for you...right now, ah now if only I could create something special! But.....Until I can find something........" Rydia slowly set her arms around his shoulders gently, leaning up and.....suddenly, he would fell her lips against his as she kissed him softly!

Jin blinked, then made a small "Hmph." Sound out of amusement. "Isn't that what you are, technically?" Well! She was from another planet from this one, so! "Technically we both are..." How ironic that was!
As she asked her next question, a small redness formed at his own face. "You may, so long as I don't have to answer." He said, slightly smirking at that! Wow, who knew his lips could be anything besides a frown or a neutral look? "Peace is merely a shadow of the terrible war that preceeded it. It is not happiness, merely contemptness. There is no such thing as peace, it is a state of mind, above all else. So long as being exist, there will be war, and the only way war would end, would be the end of all living things." He had a point, unfortunately. It seemed impossible for everyone to just get along and be friendly, there always had to be conflict. Even between the best of friends there was conflict... "Indeed." He said, sighing softly at that. Well! He had turned a joke into an overly serious saddening conversation. Such was Jin's way, it seemed. Maybe that was why no one liked being around him.
"Emerald? Is that a human gem? No, this is a demonic gem, incased with a special property. All demonic gem colors have a specific ability... This one I care not to share. I merely believed green would suit you the best." Well! Her whole look was green basically, so!
At what she began saying next, he raised an eyebrow "I require no gif-" To his (Not unplesent) surprise, he was cut off as her lips suddenly pressed against his, in a kiss! After a moment, a rather long moment of confusion, his gloved hand found its way to her hip, as he rested it there, and closed his eyes, giving into the kiss... For the remainder of the lip lock... Then, after it was done, he opened his eyes and placed his hand at his side, then! His confusion was upon him again. "F-forgive me, but I am unfamiliar with human culture, was that a gift, or a sign of affection...?" He could've sworn it was a sign of affection, but since she did it to him, he wasn't so sure! "...You may have a point there..." That was such a strange thing to realize! "Okay, let me rephrase this! You make you're self sound like a ..um....alien like...hmm..I know! An Xenomorph...I believe that's what they are calling them..Now that would be a alien I would be possibly running away from. " Well! At least she succeeded in making this a fun joke. Then a slightly puzzled look crossed her features. "Why would you say I could ask if you don't intend to answer?" She didn't seem to get it! But the most she did get was he was probably joking, or being sarcastic in some way, judging by the small smirk on his lips. She'd never seen with a single smile, or a smirk before, so this was amazing to see on one such as Jin. Rydia listened to him speak of the war, his words were more then likely true. Even back in there world, there was always some sort of danger, no matter what.Nodding slightly,though not saying anything furthermore on the war subject.
"Yes, well. That is what we would call one that looks like this. " She listened as he explained that it wasn't what she thought, and this only made her more curious when he stated he didn't want to share what it truly was to mean. "A demonic gem..? A special property? Oh...Now you have me curious! Why don't you wish to share? " She couldn't resist asking now!
After she felt his hand there at her hip, the kiss went on for a long moment, longer then she probably meant to! But...The young summoner women seemed to get lost in it. After they parted, Rydia's fair complexion was once again a faint pink in color as the blushing returned... "..Well........It can be a gift...in a way...I'm sorry...Should I not have done that?" Now she wasn't how he felt, or if she should continue being so affectionate as she had been since they had met this night.

"Xenomorph? You mean the thing I saved you from last time we met?" Jin asked, that would be the second time he saved her indeed! "Oh, do not concern yourself over it, Princess." He said, making an amused "Hmph" Sound at that.
"I see." He never knew human gems, so it seemed green ones were called emeralds. "I have my reasons... And I don't intend to share them either." He said, the subject still made him slightly nervous!
"I don't understand. Why would it be a bad thing if it was merely a gift? Or was it more? I... I'm confused." He stated, well! It was rather confusing, especially to a half demon who didn't understand humans very well! Though, either way, he had to admit, he kind of enjoyed the kiss... Ok he really enjoyed the kiss... It felt really good, and eased how tense he often was somewhat... It felt great, really. He had never kissed anyway, so! "Not very classy for someone's dying words..." Rydia nodded a little, slightly embarassed at that. "...You know I could have destroyed it too! I just wasn't ...ready for it was all! It sneaked up so suddenly, but had I know it was there I wouldn't of needed any saving!" Even Rydia didn't want to be thought of as weak, it seemed! But the part she would never speak of was, the little tiny fact that she kinda liked it when he saved her. It made her feel like a princess in some sweet fairy tale with her knight coming to her rescue! And the fact he kept calling her that, well..! At what he said next, she just gave him a sort of playful, annoyed look!
Then he continued to say he wouldn't speak of what the gem really meant! And that didn't help her curiosity. It just grew! "...I don't understand why you wouldn't want to. It's not as though I would be angry! " of course, she had no idea what it meant, so she couldn't -really- say that for sure. Though again, if she did know, she probably would be more shocked then angry at all.
Rydia quickly glanced away, attempting to put the necklace around her neck to distract herself a little from nervousness! "...Would it make you angry if maybe it was something...more?"

 Arc appeared with his new friend through the dark Portal in Midgar, he stepped out of it slowly, a curious look on his face.He slowly spoke," So, is this Midgar?" he cocked his head, wanting to find out more about this place. He looked around examining everything around him.
