Cassiel remade it and literally punched shouji straight through the wall. She gave Uki back the teddy and growled at Shouji, turning back to her adult form for a second.
"GODDAMMIT SHOUJI! JUST STOP! ALRIGHT! GET A LIFE AND STOP TORTURING THIS POOR KID!" Her giant white wings spread and wrapped around Uki protectively.

Uki sniffled and hugged the teddy close, it was the only toy he had that made him feel like a normal kid. He looked at the wings with big eyes and touched them, feeling their softness. Shouji groaned and got up, growling at Cassiel before limping to his room.

Cassiel turned back and hugged Uki protectively, watching Shouji limp away. She looked at Uki.
"You otay?"

Uki hugged her and his teddy, wiping away the tears. "T-Thank chu...I otay!" He showed he couldn't really speak correctly, he never really learned how.

Cassiel hugged him close.
"Good.. come on, let's go eat dinner.." She walked in to the kitchen with him.

Uki nodded and walked with her, he'd change later because he was hungry now. "W-What for...dinn-dinner..." He was learning how to talk better from how she talked.

"Piza on WHITE dough with no wheat in it at all. With pepperoni and cheese and green peppers..."

Uki took a piece of pizza and munched on it carefully. "Thank Chu..." he mumbled and kept eating small bites before stuffing it in his face, getting the sauce all over his mouth.

Cassiel giggled and got him some napkins, cleaning his face for him. She was smiling, happy they didn't kill her after all. Maybe she wouldn't fail Uki. She felt.. strange, she would ask the elders about it later.

Uki fussed a bit, he wasn't use to people cleaning his face at all. It felt weird and like she was his mother. He kept fussing, turning his head away a bit.

Cassiel smiled then finished up and ate some herself, she was starving!

Uki ate some more, getting sauce all over his hands and face again, some on his shirt too but he didn't care. He fell asleep after setting his head down, exhausted, wet and cold but had a full tummy.

Cassiel cleaned him up while he was asleep and got him dry, transporting him upstairs to his room and putting a barrier around them.

Uki snuggled with her, drooling a bit and smiling in his sleep.

Cassiel smiled and fell asleep with him. For once she felt like she actually belonged somewhere... she was actually NEEDED, but not just because the person needed anyone, but actually only needed her.
