*Max actually chuckles, at that.* Aye. Aye, they are. I want you to... get to know them. Meet them. If any attack you, escape. Otherwise, don't attack any of them. Just be friendly. They don't always make sense, it's true, so don't worry about that. You will be needed for other tasks as well, but this will be your first.

"...Yes sir." She nods, popping the lolipop in to her mouth and again eyeing him. After a moment she removed the lolipop, tilting her head to the side in a questioning fasion. "...Sir... is that not considered flirting among these?"

*He paused, not sure how to answer the question. He hadn't meant it as flirting, really. Max had been away from humans so long that he'd managed to forget things like innuendo. Just his luck that Merella had not.* ......of sorts. You will need to look for those things, when among the nightwalkers. Such things can be important to take notice of.

She looked down, removing her lolipop and taking the wallet with a short nod. "....Yes sir.. But, how much should I be eating... I've been watching.. and these girls never seem to eat..." She frowned, pocketing the wallet and looking away.

They are... vampires, Merella. They do not eat food as living beings do. Instead, they drink the blood of living beings. ... ...do not let them drink your blood, if you can help it. No matter what you do, do not drink from their veins. That would be looked upon as unacceptable by the master. As for your diet, while here you should keep to at least two meals each day.

You should not stay here. This place is too open. If you like, you can stay near the bike shop, with Kamahl. He is an ally. ...we can arrange a make-shift sleeping area for you. *Max gives her a patient look* Remember, do not get yourself hurt... but beyond that you have free reign to go wherever you like, for the time being. See the sights, meet the people.

"Yes sir." She nodded briskly, red hair falling in to her eyes. "Goodbye for now sir!" Stepping foward she went to kiss his cheek and walk away. Perhaps she would try this icecream thing those boys had been talking about before.

Merella walked casually back in to the park sitting down upon a bench and licking her IceCream cone enthusiasticly. These people were... Interesting. Some women stood on corners, waving to men in cars. Some men stood on corners, dressing as women as waving to the men in cars. While others danced at these bright 'clubs' acting like animals. This wasn't at all like she had thought it would be. But perhaps this was just the night ritual.
