Like I said, you want me... come and get me. YOUR the one with issues, little brother.

*Cerberus couldnt seem to help but leer, deeply amused at his twin and how he viewed him.
He threw his arms back, flicking off his duster. As it fluttered to the ground, it showed Cerberus wearing different gauntlets to Iden, .45's in cross draw shoulder holsters, blades on his thighs. *

Trust me, Im more than capable of protecting your back. I dont blame you for hating me for that.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 12:42 pm

My pleasure.

When the duster hit the ground, Iden surged forwards. Once again, he was seeking a strike to the ribs, using his right elbow as lead. The blow was the opening of a one-two strike, where his elbow struck first, followed by a bodyblow from his left fist.

*Cerberus smirked. His right hand smacked down, slamming into Iden;s incoming elbow and knocked it away, his body taking the foll up shot as his own left fish smashed mercilessly down for Iden's right temple, high amounts of celerity and potence behind both moves..
Hit or miss, with the two moves thrown, he;d be immediately skiing back again, distancing himself from Iden, taunting him with another laviscious leer and lick of his lips*
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 12:51 pm

The strike made a sickening crunch, as Iden's skull took the blow and sported several cracks for it. But Iden's head moved with the impact, his own Celerity working to help him take the blow in stride.

Cerberus would be hard pressed, however, to distance himself out from Iden. The strike to his head made him duck, and slide forward into a rising uppercut to Cerberus' chin. With his left fist in a tight guard to stave off further blows, Iden was keeping light, and keeping cautious. But...he had yet to strike with Potence. Thus far, he was only using Celerity to match Cerberus' speed, and little else.

You dont have to do this you know...

*Cerberus seemed non plussed as he spoke, tilting his chin up so the strike only grazed him, turning the motion into a graceful, and again POWERFUL backflip, raking his boots upwards suddenly hard enough to take Iden;s entire weight and flip him over his head if he HAD to, though his real intent was to simply knock Iden back and land ina feral crouch, facing his twin.*

I've got your blood in me, and you're weakened. WHy not challenge me when your full and it'll actually MEAN something?
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 12:59 pm

The uppercut did not do what Iden meant...but the follow up would. Cerberus' backflip would strike Iden, but so too would Iden strike Cerberus. His uppercutting arm slammed down, catching Cerberus' leg between his arms. Iden flipped up, and over Cerberus, and his momentum would turn the aerial display into a forceful slam into the ground. Even if Cerberus caught himself...it was only a means of putting him position for Iden's boot to stomp viciously at his counterpart's leg, the force sufficient WITHOUT Potence to pulverize the knee of the leg Iden held, by merit of Cerberus' body going one way, while Iden's grip forced his leg in the other.

*Cerberus sacrificed he purity of his back in exchange for wrapping his powerful tail around Iden to prevent him breaking his leg. The tail was incredibly muscular and strong, acting like a constrictor to coil around Iden and hurl him off, using the same motion Iden was hoping to use to hel aid the throw. If pulled off correctly, Iden'd fly into the bar counter with head slamming force, while Cerberus climbed to his feet. If not, the Sabbat was already reparing to avoid another empassioned attack, bringing his arms u*

Iden was tossed, but he didn't seem to be hurled uncontrolled into the bar. His arms hit first, having reached out to intercept the counter and shift Iden's momentum to pass OVER the counter instead of THROUGH it.

The young Brujah's body made a neat frontflip, which planted his feet against the shelves. Glass broke and crunched under his boot, filling the air with razored shards of glimmering reflections, but Iden seemed unharmed.

He caught himself by reaching out for one of the shelves, and held himself against the wall just long enough to sweep his free arm down to ensnare a bottle. His thumb and forefinger cracked it open, and he took an easy swig.

Wiping the excess from his lips, Iden returned the leering expression, his own grinning condescension matching Cerberus' in far too many ways.

'S that it? And you're supposed to be watching my back? We're doomed, if that's the case...

Iden's legs slammed off the wall, propelling him with astounding speed. He skipped off the counter, and seemed to glide across the floor into another bodyblow, once again leading with his right arm.

...

*Cerberus sighed, then rolled his eyes. As Iden came back at him, he didnt even try to dodge*

I TRIED to be nice. I want you to remember that you stupid little idiot. You're insulting me by fighting me in your state.

*Blue flared all over the Sabbat once again, Mongrel, under the table, flaring purple in response. It was as if suddenly the air had become liek treacle, hard to swim through, harder to walk or dash through. The harder Iden tried to reach Cerberus, the more difficult it was to move.
The thick scent of tainted vitae swam and filled the air, Cerberus's eye become vibrant cobalt blue gems in his face as snarled softly, letting his claws fully extend.
Around the room, shadows truned to venemous serpents, lashing acros sthe floor with all of Cerberus's celerity, seeking to ensnare and bring Iden down whiel he was still airborne, Cerberus's own tail added to the mix. He breathed out as he drew his hands to his chest, breath a mix of paralysing poisons. His hands were raised to fend of Iden's blwo shoudl it come through, blades shooting out of HIS gauntlets, each one tipped with haemox. Cerberus it seemed was now taking at least SOME interest in trying*

You insult me by existing. We're even.

When he found the resistance was too much to move freely, Iden's advance shifted direction. His legs were tripped up by the lashing shadows, but his fall was anything but a problem. His hands pushed off the ground, sending him in a springing bound to the side, lunging at a diagonal to his original path. This would bring him out of arms reach of Cerberus, but still in reach of the tail. The key was...the duster. Iden's grasp snared the garmet, and snapped it around, using the leather to shield himself from the poisons.

The point of it all...Iden WANTED Cerberus to hit him with his tail. When the lashing appendage struck, he took the blow full on. And in turn, he anchored himself with his low stance, and heaved.

Cerberus mayhaps could slow Iden down. But Iden was a melee fighter first and foremost, above and beyond even his skill with firearms. People never seemed to realize this, as he tended to run and gun fairly often...but this was his kind of fight. And once he had his grip, made firmer when his knuckles spiked his claws at the appendage, the full weight of his Potence would start swinging Cerberus around like a ragdoll, using him as a cudgel with which to break anything and everything within reach. The momentum of the swing would deny the chance for Cerberus to pull in close, and Iden need not move FAST to do this. He only needed his low stance to stay well based.

*Cerberus only grinned. the thickness in the air meant it was easier to follow Iden's motions, and he almost laughed with glee when his twin went for his tail. the thickness dissipated rapidly, Cerberus reaching around and laying his OWN hands onto his tail, griping it hard as he glared wickedly at Iden.
It wasnt like Roan or Corbin's tails. Draconic, lizard like.... it acted like that of a reptile. Thus, it detached in a small spray of blood from his body, Iden motion with it allowing Cerberus to turn, clinging onto it and RAM him boots into IDen;s stomach with enough force to make most peopel start pukig their own guts out, the toes of his boots seeking to sink in under his lower ribs and push upwards.
Again, Cerberus breathe dout at his twin, letting one hand come off his dismembered tail to slash at IDen;s eyes, claws and blades out once again*

Let me know when you get tired. Using Disciplines cant be easy on you right now...
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 1:48 pm

The detatchment of the tail was well and good. Cerberus still came to grips with Iden.

Iden staggered back a step from the strike, but with the tail detatched, Iden had released the appendage, and with the double kick to his chest...so did Iden slam both claws into Cerberus' legs with bone-dusting force. He did this..and pushed. True, Iden would find himself feeling the expanding numbness over his skin from the toxins Cerberus breathed, but the Sabbat twin would not be capable of coming within arm's reach, as Iden used Cerberus' LEGS the same way he had used his TAIL. For all Iden looked physically sickened from the strike, and for all the dribble of blood that seeped down his lips from it, sheer force of will was seeing him taking his broad stance again to slam Cerberus once more into the surrounding bar like a ragdoll.

*Coiling the muslces in his legs, Cerberus ducked his head and reached out with one arm. THis time, he WAS going to get thrown about a bit, but it woudnt be for long if he could help it. he reached out and the second his palm connected with wood, he grabbed the chair reflexively. Allowing his shoulders to be dragged acros sthe floor, head towards the table, he suddenly did what was effectively a stomach crunch and SMASHED the wooden object over Iden's head, using the splinters to blind his opponent, while he inverted the largest piece which remained in his hand and drove it towards Iden's chest.
The kid had two choices. Either let go one leg to protect his chest, in which case Cerberus woudl kick away and let the paralysis set in, or let Cerberus stake him, driving him to torpor ANYWAY*
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 1:57 pm

Through blurry, squinting eyes, Iden saw what was occuring. Cerberus smashed the table, and slammed it for Iden's head.

Iden did not know the stake was coming. Even if he had, it wouldn't have changed things, not in the slightest. Iden did not guard his chest. Both hands remained in place. It was his legs that moved...they straightened, which shoved Iden from the ground. Both boots came together, and kicked at Cerberus' chest. This would prevent the staking, for the fact that Iden's knees would be in the way of the blow. Wood punctured flesh, sending searing pain up Iden's leg. But with Cerberus' sternum and chin making a prime place for both booted heels to slam into, driven by Potence, and further still by the fact that Iden used his grasp on Cerberus' legs to force himself into the blow...it would hurt, even though Iden's limbs were growing sluggish enough that past the kick, he would be in trouble.

*Cerberus saw it coming, but only barely. He couldnt get out of it, but he COULD go with damage control. For a brief second, there was a disturbing organic sound as bone thickened about Cerberus's neck, then an AWFUL crunch as Iden's feet connected, the entire strength of Cerberus;s twin behind it. Bone shattered, cracked and split, leaving Cerberus to take a much reduced stroke that DIDNT break his neck, but left him sitting shards of bone from the raw wound that was his throat and upper chest as BOTH men crashed to the floor. Cerberus grabbed Iden as his other fell back, latching onto HIS legs in kind, fangs darting down for Iden's calf muscle like a striking cobra*

I suggest you quit it NOW, brother dear, before I actually have to KILL you to get you to realise this is pointless.
