Emma: Fast as thought.
Scott: What if he wakes up and tells everyone?
Emma: Tell them what? Trust me, darling, he won't remember anything. Now, come on. Our people need that money to rebuild.
She puts an arm around him and the two walk off, leaving West on the ground.

The details are a little bit off, but this seems pretty damn likely in my book. Frost is just repressing West's memories until the heat dies down in this scenario.
