Lan the Arc Angel

PostPosted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 12:44 am

((damn...you're kicking my a**...))

Lan's body flew through the air, smashing through trees and earth alike. The blade clanged on the ground as it hit the floor. Disorientated and dazed, Lan tried to focus himself. Being burried under 3 or 4 feet of earth really didn't help him all that much.

Where have I seen this?Oh...KB and his son,Exudis.Quite the blade he made that day.

*The Master held out both his hands palms up,as if he were holding a sheathed sword.Lan's sword would be lifted and floated in front of him, broadside to The Master. It would be outside the shield and it would stay there. The Master's overwhelming dark energy attemtping to permanently distort and transform the blade to a horrible thing. He also made sure to use the evil inside that it could already posess.*

((Sorry Lan.This is my charrie I've never played before. He's like a year and a half RP old of dominating behind the scenes.Needed to take him for a test drive.))

((No problem...but that's Lan's favorite blade...don't be surprised if you end up pissing him off, and don't be surprised if he turns around and almost kicks your a**))

"Grah...damnit, what was that?"

Lan's voice was slurred and half hearted as he pulled himself from the grave of earth. The blade Ka'lana would prove more then a challenge to pervert, the darkness that was held within the sword was no where to be found, only because the darkness was within Lan. Pulling himself to his feet he staggered for a few seconds before catching himself.

"You...you stay away from her!"

Holding his hand out he tried to reach the 10 or so feet to Ka'lana.

If you want her....come get her.

*The Master not held his hands as if he held the blade, his size of course. It took him a fraction of a second to get fully used to the difference, and now he was.Exudis's blade had been nearly the same size and same way.Now the blade reacted as if he actually wielded it.Floating in mid air in a basic stance,at a slight angle, point upper right.*

"GRAAAH!!"

Lan pushed himself off the ground and charged, blindly, at the 'master'. Rage and anger were no where to be found, infact looking into his eyes would show something else. Deception and trickery! From the way he moved, favoring his left side, it looked like he was going to jump to the right at the last minute to avoid the blade. His fist looked like a giant hammer, and he was planning on slamming this foolish idiot into the ground!
PostPosted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 1:07 am

*Finding that trying to hold a charging giant by holding the blade in such a way was futile,he changed the way he held it.The blade turned in mid air,as The Master's hands moved. Now he held it,one hand on the flat of the blade, holding up and sideways against the incoming attack. He could move it side to side up or down,or even up above so when Lan jumped he'd land standing on it.Either way,his move was backed with the same strength as before. If Lan ran into it,he'd have one hell of a headache.*

((With your charge I guess that makes the blade horizontaly flat to bash you.))

((And here comes the deception...))

Lan brought his hammer shaped fist high into the air as he drew closer to the master. Now only a foot or so away from him he brought his fist down in what appeared to be a powerful crushing blow, but just seconds before he actually made contact with the blade, shield, or the 'master' himself the blade, Ka'lana, would disapear from his hands and appear in Lan's. Using the momentum from his charge, and his attack, he brought the blade down on the shield with such force that the air fled and a vacuum formed around the sword. Lan was, quite litterally, an inch away before he executed his deceptive attack.

*The shield made ready, all the souls flooded to the point of attack. Many were lost, destroyed under the attack. However,it delayed the blade a mere fraction of the time it took The Master. His insane agility proved useful. With the second it slowed he'd reached out and put his hand on the flat of the blade, then threw himself up into the air, doing a single-handed cartwheel over Lan's blade,His free hand, palm outwards, fired a shot directly at Lan's face. The Master's feather-light body, with Lan's strength to hold up the blade,The Master's speed and agility, and the shield being vanquished,he was able to pull it off flawlessly. He landed on both feet, with Lan's swing still going now away from him, that is,if Lan wasn't knocked over.*

Speed and cunning will always defeat brute strength.Though I do commend you,you almost had me.

"Right!"

Lan's entire body seemed to shoot from the ground as the dopple ganger's head exploded. As one Lan shot from the ground another materilized just over head, though this one seemed...twisted! The darkend was being used, so the little bout of teleporation wasn't magic it was pure speed. His eyes raged and his very spirit screamed with anger! Dark ribbons of energy fired from every inch of Lan's 13 foot body, each one targeting the 'master' with only one intent...to draw blood! The way the attack was set up force the 'master' to either dodge to the sides, or under the twisted Lan. Either way he was going to meet hundreds upon hundreds of these black ribons! Or he could face the alternative, the Nazgral and the Ka'lana both poised to strike a mortally wounding, if not fatal, blow.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 1:29 am

*The Master vanished.Whether it was speed or teleportation was unsure. However,a fine spurt of dust could be seen where he was, suggesting he went underground very quickly. As soon as the dust settled he was already way back where he had started.Where the vortex had originated. He expected the ribbons would track him down, but he was ready. He just waited in place for them to close in on him.*

"Gotcha..."

The dark and twisted Lan exploded in a brillient display of silver and white lights and was absorbed by the Lan that was flying out of the ground. The power of the Nazgral was easily coppied, but the Ka'lana was unmistakble! The ribbons faltered and disapeared, but from the sides the 'master' would have dodge came springing silver chains. Four of them totaled the attack, for that was all that was needed! The soft clinging of metal on metal filled the air as the chains took the traits of a snake, coiling it's way and rearing the shackles to strike. Each chain aimed for a different limb, one for each leg and one for each arm. The 'master' would find trying to submerge himself within the earth much more difficult this time around. Lan's body was claded with the same onyx armor that he had been wearing earlier, meaning the Earthen Brother was working with Lan this time.

*The Master flinched only slightly as he was bound. His wings spread to their full length,7 feet across for each wing. They were large and clawed, and seemed to switch between being shadow and leathery. The Master hissed loudly as his wings spread, his massive fangs dripping saliva as his claws extended. His eyes filled with black,as his skin started to turn black. He still looked at Lan,even with blind eyes.*

Releeeeaaasssssseee meeeeee....Now.Release me or feel the wrath of ages beyond my understanding.

"YOU DIE NOW!!! RRAAAAHHHH!!!!"

Holding Ka'lana at a combat ready he charged at the 'master' once more. Instead of completeing the charge, like a brute who relied soley on pure strength would have done, he merged his body with the earth. Throwing himself out of the ground, behind the 'master', Lan thrusted forward. All 6 feet of the silver Ka'lana being followed by not only the muscle, but the weight and the rage, of a Silver Giant. The chains would hold their binds, the silver energy shackles and links would also burn the flesh of the wicked.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 1:51 am

*The Master let out a shriek that would break eardrums easilly. It carried high, high to the point where it couldn't be heard. He pressed forward, driven by the blade until the chains held him back, searing his now black and shadow form. His wings thrashed lightly as his body jerked. He was then still, though he seemed to have no subtance. His shadow body wrenched free of the bounds, causing him much pain,he pulled forward, off Lan's blade.Shadow was torn away in a gaseous fashion, but returned to him.He turned to face Lan with a face that had lost all semblence of humanity. He was bigger now, even though the change had been subtle as he pulled away.Collapsing to his knees his black form grew and changed. The swirling black cloud was forming something, his body was stretching. It was clear at this point what it was to become. The second dragon of it's kind.It was already halfway there and growing, and at this point twice Lan's size.Lan's attack had succeeded, not in killing The Master, but driving The Master to something even he could not control.*

"Oh...s**t..."

Fighting something larger then Lan was something he hadn't experienced very often. Infact he'd only fought three things larger then him, a green dragon, a massive stone golem, and an adult Silver Giant.

"In...in the light...of...of the...uhh...Silver Mother...I shall not...faulter!"

Lan was intimidated by anything larger then he was, a foolish fear, but it was one of his only weaknesses.

"Ka'lana, protect me...please, Ka'lana my love...don't leave me."

Tightening his grip on his blade he watched the shadow creature grow before his very eyes.

"In the light of the Silver Mother...I shall not faulter! With the protection bestowed upon me by the heavenly grace...I shall not fall! And with the strength given to me from those who worship gracefully...I shall strike thee down!"

Raising the sword, above his head, he lashed out at the shadow creature. His blade was wrapped, entirely, by a peircing white light. Lan's one belief would prevail! It had to!

"In the face of the light, the shadows will flee."
