Kat walked sort of close next to Humbra. She breathed in deeply. "Do you smell that?" she asked. Kat was slightly infatuated with all the sounds, looks and smell of the cave. It had a damp dank smell and look to it. But then it had slowly been changing, not in appearance in smell.

Rei looked at Kaji, and whispered in a hushed voice, "It's hardly surprising, they're shapeshifters remember? We don't really know what they are..."
Rei looked back at what appeared to be the leading wolf, and bowed his head out of respect. "This mission should finally be over soon." he thought to himself.

[[ I know, but from Areno's perspective, it's a possibility. Why do people hide things? To keep them out of the wrong hands... and why would two armies be perched outside of the hiding place, with an admission that at least one leader wanted these gems in her possesion for any length of time. As far as Areno's concerned, the gems were probably sealed away to be kept out of these peoples' hands specifically. =P ]]
(ooc: Technically she never said she wanted them. She said she believed that she knew what you were after and would like to look at them to make sure. But I suppose that that could be taken as she wants to steal them. Oh and don't forget the hidden leaf thread silly)

"Either we're about to reach a river in this cave, or an exit." His eyes looked at the sorrounding walls which flickered and danced with the torch's light. "Do you think these walls were carved or were they formed by nature? Doesn't really matter, but it'd be interesting to find out if someone made the cave for Buki's item, or the item was put in the already made cave.... Oh well." Continuing on by following the fresh breeze and the cleaner smells, Humbra looked at the stark darkness beyond his torch's light.
"..." I'd make a joke right about now about being on an adventure with only a torch, a girl, and a massive amount of darkness in a secluded cave miles away from civilization.. But I seriously need to become a Gennin so I can get back to Grass. I want to get back to Grass and become stronger so I can do a better job than that lazy kage..

Shigen yawned sleepily and rolled to his other side. He seemed to be more tired then his energenic self showed. He snored softly as his chest rose and fell in his sleeping state.
Shigen was dreaming of...kicking butt! Dreaming of defeating mighty ninja and teaching them who the boss was! He was also older and called the "Great Lightning" of the Hidden Cloud. That was only one name though, Shigen kept thinking of better names for himself as his dream went on.

Chances are that they aren't some superpowered stones or rocks of doom." Oni muttered, walking towards the exit. Louder, Oni said, "We should go around the people on the outside, just to be safer. What should I say. Kuro's eyes wandered around the room before he took his seat, finally settling on the person at the head.
A simple greeting maybe, but I should show respect. His eyes focused forward the entire time. After a minute he started to tap his fingers on the desk.
"G-good morning."

::the guards still waited. The giant wolves shook every now and again, as if growing impatient waiting in one place for so long. The guards were silent for the most part, only once in awhile saying a word or two to each other::

Name... Kuro's fingers continued to make a light drumming sound. His eyes fell slightly to the side when he heard the question.
Should I say my full name, or what I want to be called? His inner dialogue went back and forth with the two choices, but then he started to consider that the woman said they shouldn't waste time. It would be best to say both options to eliminate any future confusion.
"Hana, Kurochi. I go by Kuro." His eyes refocused on the woman, who seemed to be nearly asleep.
Is it that early? I hadn't noticed... Kuro started to consider the time. He was used to rising with the sun. The morning dew always made the flowers sparkle, making it easier to pick the best one. He still had the yellow carnation he had picked at sunrise, neatly tucked into his shirt.

(ooc: posting quickly before school because I accidently skipped over kat and humbra, sorries)
~*~In the cave~*~
::as the wandered further into the cave, it seemed to grow lighter, the tunnel that they were in grew wider and eventually lead them into what appeared to be a cavern. Part of the new light source came from what could be termed a natural skylight in the top of the cavern, which filtered in the light from outside, which paled by the time it finally reached the bottom. The other source came from the body of water in the center of the cavern, the plant life in there appeared to be glowing::

Humbra looked around, seeing the glowing plants and natural skylight. "Hmm." His eyes looked at the cavern walls, trying to determine if there were any more exits or entrances to the part of the cave they currently were in. The torch continued to flicker, outshining the glowing of the plants and the pale light from above.
"Think the item is in that pond? Any idea?" He continued to look at the cave, squinting his eyes to see every inch of it.
