Vera grinned slightly, "There is another vessel to add to our small fleet. The Star of Kalustha, our Omega-class Imperial Shuttle. Not exactly assault worthy, but it should be able to hold its own against uglies and the like."

"Lady Vera is correct." Iria said in agreement.
"And, we have an old Lambda-class shuttle, as well," Gunther chimed in.

stellarmagic Calra hissed at the slumped body of her comrade, "Damn it Revak!" The woman stepped forward, her brilliant white hair and short stout figure given a bloody hue by the emergency lights. Her vibroblade glinted in the light as Calra ignited her blade and set herself. The woman's face turned taunt an expressionless. Calra felt a chill roll down her spine all the way to her tail, this woman was a trained killer. Not the brutish bravado of a bounty hunter or pirate but the cool watching stare of a professional bodyguard. She was here to stop them, and Calra was uncertain as to whether they'd make the bridge for the first time, this opponent was like her a trained warrior, it would be the first time in a long while she'd get a chance to fight against a peer. The woman struck with lightning speed, the vibroblade flashing in her hand its humm echoing in the silent chamber. Calra's lightsaber leapt to block and stopped the blade, sparks and miniscure chips of metal flaked from the blade's edge as it skittered across the shaft of golden energy. Calra twisted her wrist and sent the crooked end of the weapon twisting toward the woman's flank. The second blade nearly sliced into the woman who twisted away and stepped back, her blue eyes flicking across the form of the Raporan warrior before her. She swiftly reknewed her assault. The Echani's blade hissed as it's flurry of blinding fast attacks met a wall of golden bladework. Then suddenly the blades locked as each female warrior put her strength into the fight pressing against each other. Then with a flash the blades slipped. The jolt of the sudden release threw the lightsaber from Calra's hand. The Echani raised her blade and charged, hoping to bring a finishing blow. Calra stepped out of the line of the blade slashed down with her claws catching the Echani's arm slashing into flesh. The woman dropped the blade in pain and spun away, a grimace flashing across her face. With a flurry the woman pulled a cylinder from her hip and snapped it out to its full length. Without pause she spun the quarterstaff in her hand and charged. Calra ducked back and gripped an over head pipe as she lashed out with a snap kick. The Echani, Kira, snapped her head back just escaping the slash of Calra's killing claw. Then the pipe gave way dumping Calra to the gratted floor with a meter and half length of rust steel tubing in her hands. Kira slapped a button on her belt and a slight disturbance of the air around her formed, like the ripples caused by heat in the desert. Calra leapt upright gripping the piece of piping in her hand. She snarled at her attacker, "You won't stop me. You damn Rakata spawn!" With a flash Calra charged slamming the pipe downward toward the Echani's head, mere centimeters from its target a flash of light echoed in the chamber and the pipe rebounded and nearly tore from Calra's grip. It was like slamming a pipe into an active repulsor, not only did it stop but rebounded back at twice the force of the initial impact. She snarled in frustation, "Nice toy you have shisno!" The Echani was silent, her eyes focused on the black visor that hid Calra's eyes. Then she struck, first by slashing the staff toward her opponent. Calra stopped that attack cold, but the Echani stepped back and used the recoil slamming the staff into the grates and using for leverage as she launched into a full extension kick. Calra leapt back and snarled escaping the second blow. Hissing to herself she took hold of the ceiling's grating and hung there for a moment thinking. The Echani charged and Calra smiled. She dropped from the ceiling and launching a second attack with the pipe, it smashed into the echani's repulsor shield and recoiled, Calra let the pipe go and smiled as she let the inertia take her, she stretched out with her leg and caught the Echani's legs, dumping her to the floor. Slowly Calra crouched over the human now dazzed on her back. She reached out and grabbed the woman by the throat, her movements just slow enough to penetrate the shield. Then she lifted the woman and threw her against a bulkhead, the impact's size shorted out the repulsor shield on her belt. Now she was seemingly defensless, but the Echani rolled upright and spun her staff, one final round awaited them both.

"Hopefully what we have will be enough to save Freya. Gorrwoken and I will man the Ballet. We just need to know where they are taking her," Aurora said.

"And, I shall accompany you," Rusty chimed in.
"There's no one else Freya would entrust behind the Ballet's controls." Gunther agreed with Aurora. The boy then turned to the group at large. "Time is of the essensce. Has anyone else anything before we're on our way?"
Kalnar nodded as well. "The boy is correct. Colonel Seraphim, have you anything more?"

Rear Admiral Borill Elsyn smiled coldly as the briefing room's lights onboard the Hektor's Shield dimmed. The slight hum and hue of the central holoprojector echoed in the filled room. There were higher ranking officers here and about a hundred field officers from starship captains and commodores to starfighter wing leaders. All of them had a role to play. Beside and behind him Commodore Kull and Kusei Maki stood. Their place guaranteed by the value they'd demonstrated in the war against Elladan Kenet.
In the center of the room a giant map of the Garos IV star system floated, a dozen different points on the map were highlighted. Borill smiled to himself as Kusei took the podium, she removed her helmet as a demonstration of respect to those warriors in the room. Kusei leaned over the comm, "From recently obtained information we now know that Elladan Kenet is planning to launch an assault here within the week. In addition we have managed to obtain his complete battle plan from our sources in the Mandalorian Forces."
Borill smiled, "Thanks to recent requesitions and contingency plans we've been able to utilize this information to our advantage." A single point on the map lit up, "Upon Kenet's hyperspace vector we've deployed a gravity mine and a gencore shield mounted aboard a deep space platform. Elladan Kenet will walk into one devil of an ambush."

((Arg...short post))
Archaras looked at them all, and then said "Very well... I think it would be best if we consolidated our forces in Orbit and then we run over specific tactics in orbit...and once our friends arrive."
The Echani waited for their replies...

"Then, let it begin," Kalnar said.
"I agree," Gunther said. "Shall we board the ship?"
"Yes," the Mon Cal replied.

Vera nodded, saying nothing. Time was of the essence, and enough had been said. She beckoned to Ebony, who tootled compliantly and followed, pausing to give Archaras a once over before dutifully following her master to their ship.

Aurora boarded the Ballett with Gorry, Rusty, and Sapphire. "Rusty I want you and Saph to run a diagnostic on the ship, make sure nothing was damaged in the firefight." she instructed before heading to the cockpit and powering up the engines. Hang on Freya, were coming.

Archaras waved back at his new found allies and turned, collecting his emptied weapons, and boarded his vessel. He strode purposefully into the ship, depositing the tech, then walked into the cockpit, and sat into the pilot's seat. He immediately began priming his engines, charging weapons and shields, and bringing sensors online.
"You don't have to do this you know," chimed in ICIS, her figure appearing on the consle in front of him, as she began activiating other systems.
"Yea...I know," The Officer replied.
"I thought you wanted to stay off the radar...This pretty much tosses that idea out the proverbial airlock." She added as she updated his nav with current updates of Lynch's force deployment.
"I know. Even so. Something is telling me that helping these people is the right thing to do. I'd say its the force, but it feels more like my Xi is meant to do this. Perhaps it is the force, perhaps it is Xi. Either way its too late now." The Knight responded.
"You and Echani and your Mysticism. I thought you told me that Xi was a void," The AI said, smiling at him.
"It is. Xi is void. Xi is all. Xi is none." The warrior added.
"Whatever," ICIS intoned, shaking her head and smiling.
Archaras smiled too, and then activated the Repulsors, bringing the ship up. Before he acttivated his Sublight engines he added one more thing "Besides. I really want to beat the Kriff out of Lynch, and make sure he can't do anything like this again."
ICIS laughed as the ship roared away from the planet, ready to find battle, and yes, beat the kriff out of Lynch...

"Consider the diagnostics done," Rusty cheerily said to Aurora.
Within moments, Rusty made his way to the cockpit. "All systems are a green light, and we are good to go," the ancient astromech stated. "Let us be off."
(( And, from here, I'll assume that Aurora and Gorwooken are now in flight. ^_^ ))

Kaze-Kage Daisuko He sighed, "Precision, obviously my master would prefer precision seeing as defense is his style, and full throttle power that I used disgusts him, as I am wasting energy, and proving I am all together weak. But with precision and attack, I hope I can be a unique force to be reackoned with," he said.

"Some things require brute force to destroy. While a small charge can bring down a wall, so can a vehicle at a fairly high speed. Sometimes, you don't carry an explosive device. The master knows that each has strengths and weaknesses. Power is good, if its energy is directed and concentrated. Brute force also is just as acceptable, if you don't forget yourself either. The Master is an assassin; naturally showing overt power is self-defeating. You are not bound to being one of the shadows. Pick your path wisely, access the master's records on the shelf, and find which style suits your own tastes. Lord Ferno knows how to teach them all."
