Bouncy shields help on 16, just because you can keep them from reviving their friends. Unshakable makes it ridiculously harder, though. Confusion is, as always, priceless.

That's wave 10.
So, here's what to fear at Wave 20
Chaos Lord Bloodletters Every Leader from earlier. (The Force Commander w/Apothecaries, Nobz, your clones, etc.)

Oh right, well I've gotten up to the Plasma death. How do you beat Banshees spam? I've only ever done it once, and two Eldar did Eldritch storm, while we were concealed to win us that, then I finished the Platforms and anything else off.
And I guess the Chaos Lord is nasty aswell?

I beat the banshee spam by kite-bouncing a Mek around. Keep him just out of assault range. I use a Burna, but most people use the Big Shoota. I like the fact that I can damage whole swaths of enemies at once. Seriously. In early waves, the Burna kills blocks of stuff in a few seconds flat. Later on, it's good for kite bouncing, but the lack or range means that you need a CC unit or two as partners to draw damage off of you. Also, never underestimate a well timed Rok strike.
Once I get it, the Bouncy Shield should help a lot. If I can keep it active well enough, I'll use it in conjunction with teleporting to be a bouncy bomb of sorts to disengage allies. Activate the shield, teleport into the middle of enemies, knock them back, teleport away. Repeat.
I've not made it to wave 20 myself. I've just heard about it. Yeah...it should be some kinda rotten hell.

Ah, I've started using a Mek, and when I first saw the Big Shoota, I thought it said 44 damage (My pc glitches on that bit), so I picked that, and I failed. So I went Burna, and with the teleporta armour against the Orks and Nids, its just so fun. I also love the Mega-Rumblah against the Banshee spam, that and two Eldritch storms, along with conceal won that round for us.
Thing is about that teleporta armour, its only worth 22 Armour points, but then that 'eavy armour comes along with 125 I think, and 'thropes have me dead after two hits with their warp blast, so that's a problem for me.

Eventually you'll get Sturdy and Cybork bits. Cybork gives +66(?) to all AR and Sturdy bits keep you from getting knocked over. Both are immense helps against the Zoanthrope swarm.
The Big Shoota does well, you just have to be bouncy and keep your enemies well away from you.

Hey, I have a question about Dawn of War 2 LAN multiplayer play.
Before I go out and spent some money on a second copy of Dawn of War 2 so my friends and I can play against each other, I would like to know what the multiplayer is like over a LAN.
More specifically, is it similar to Dawn of War 1 where you start with an HQ structure and have to go build a base, capture resource points, build units, etc.?
Or is it that you get no buildings, just a bunch of units to fight your enemies with?
Or do you just get the one HQ building, from which you can make everything you need?
More simply and generally, is there base-building and/or army-building in multiplayer LAN play?

You should play skirmish, that should give you the gist of how DoW 2 multiplayer works, for skirmish = multiplayer but with bots. Also, your friend will need to both set up a Steam account and a Games for Windows Live account, but you knew that right?

Got to level 16 on Last Stand three times. The first two lasted for around half an hour, and the third we failed epically. Level 20 looks nasty...
