Chieftain Twilight Eltanin Sadachbia Dave and I are awesome now. We actually joke when one or the other gets hit on in places like this, but we don't encourage it either.
The things that got to him back then were, 1) we were still relatively new together, 2) he had never had a woman truly be faithful to him, so it was easy for him to believe the BS, 3) he was feeling guilty about some of the things that weird-a** accused him of.
In the end he was like, "I'm sorry that I left you behind all the time," and he was like, "I'll try to do more stuff you like," and he was like, "You shouldn't have to go to other people to talk about stuff when I'm right here."... and for me, I had never really considered any of that as any kind of issue, i just figured that it must get boring playing with a newb, I thought that the things we did together were more than what most couples our age did together, so I was content, and I never really talked to anyone but him anyway. In reality, the beginning of our marriage looked very similar to what my mom and dad's marriage looks like, and I thought that was how things are....
We both made changes after that that built our trust to such a point that neither of us worry about things like that anymore. We became more of a partnership, and to be honest, every morning I wake up next to him, I know it's the happiest day of my life (even though circumstances may prove otherwise by the end of the day). I think the extent of our troubles usually stop at finances, which can be bad, but because we are secure in each other, it just doesn't seem life threateningly important like it used to. ya see, now that's something that makes me happy! smile you don't see that anywhere anymore, couples working out their differences, realy Loving eachother... instead of just skipping down to the courthouse to refund the whole thing. "who's next? take-out weddings, only 1 year trial offer!" disgusting world this has turned into. your Marriage is one of the Gems. I'm glad to know that there are couples like that left. oh you don't do you razz have you looked in the mirror today Dear?

Yeah, GIMP is what I use. It's actually a pretty good program for being free. You can download Photoshop brushes and they work just fine in GIMP. There are also a hellallot of add-ons and plug-ins so you can customize it for what you use most.
The only draw-back that I have found with GIMP though, is that if you don't keep it updated, you run into glitches.Three times I have lost a complete evening's worth of work because the program froze, or it just completely closed out.
Be sure sure to save and save often.

Chieftain Twilight Aakosir Chieftain Twilight Aakosir Chieftain Twilight as for old trends... I'm on the younger end of your generation, so I missed the 80's... still, I can agree that the times of my youth were way better than what's going down around here all the time. damn kids these days. >.> can't find a single virgin over the age of 10! think they have it all figured out, too. like we havn't been their before, or done the things they have. xd I KNOW! What the hell! And if you are a 14 year old virgin then you get made fun of and all that crap! Seriously! I was 15 when my cherry popped and I was YOUNG! I'm only 20 now! And in 5 years this much has changed! I hate it! My daughter will have some pretty strick parents thanks to this steep downhill movement...I agree. spanking = good parenting. spanking =/= child abuse. ninja I'm gonna raise my kids to be aware of different lifestyles, to understand as well as they can both the boy AND girl puberty stuff, to know the consequences of every action, and to always be themselves. I won't nessesarilly be strict, realy, so much as refuse to let them be ignorant. not enough parents actualy parent anymore. what ever happened to Values and Morals? Yea... My daughter has been getting a few spankings. She won't listen! No matter what I try! I will dfinitely be a part of my children's sexual awareness. I will not just do the whole "you learned it in school, wee don't need to discuss it". No. I can talk to my mom about any and everything. That's how I want it with my kids. I agree that parents are not "parents" anymore. They simple make the kid then let them run wild. There are very few kids with morals now... It's sad.or worse... put them on ADD Pills. xp You don't want to get me started with that. I know what ADD and ADHD look like in a kid. My brothers and dad have it. My husband does too. So when he told me about being put on medicine for epilepsy I flipped. How stupid is his mom!? She obviously knew nothing about ADHD, but she didn't even question the doctor until her son was in the psych ward! But she didn't even question the doctor!? She asked someone in the family! Gra! How ******** retarded are you woman!? I seriously hate her.... Not just for that. There is a whole list of other things too.

I think the best advise is to experiment with layers. I think when it comes to computer graphics, layers are an artist's best friend... You have your base that automatically comes up when you open a new work, and you can add layers ad you go.
I tend to use the base as my sketch-point, the 1st layer as my line-art outline, and then I will hide the base and create layer from visible (being the line-art) a few times. Then I work at different colorings on each individual layer, and I use the top layer to blend the edges for detail... but that is pretty vague right now isn't it?
Most tutorials are geared towards a micro-specific type of art. I personally started learning GIMP when I was big into the Sims games and wanted to make my own clothes... You can google pixel dolls as well for some handy tutorials...
Now, I have been uploading my traditional sketches in and experimenting with different ways to color them.
I'll see about starting a thread in my guild about getting started and introduced to the tools tonight while I am making some of my art... Maybe I can figure out how to record what's happening on my screen and make a video tutorial...

@ Spooky: aye, I'll whip'em for ya in just a minute, dear. xd
@ Shan: well of course I actualy DO see it here and there! xd I know you and I have worked through issues now. and I know that Scarlet, for example, has a beautiful Marriage to her Husband. in fact, most married folk here in the RST are great examples of what a Marriage should be. I was just saying in general, that Marriage isn't given the same consideration it used to. it's generally something that you just do, cause it's expected, and then when you find out that it isn't working out you just get a divorce like it's nothing... iii-_-
@ Scarlet: the Smut was the theme, wasn't it?
