Yay It was a super good series, I really enjoyed it!
Also recently along the fantasy lines I have read (finally!) the northern lights trilogy and have just finished this morning The magicians guild. Now I just need to get the second and third ones lol XD
Im normally more of an action/adventure kinda person but my sister looooves fantasy so I just end up reading her books when im lacking in funds XD

It made me want to vomit when I read it as a child... and I still want to vomit when I read it... I actually just end the book before that bit happens now so I don't have to read it! It's just so fecking RANDOM and it's (spoilerish) and so horrifically lovey dovey! The thing is it just doesn't sit with the tone of the books which have been action/adventure/fantasy up until that point and then become sickly teen romance! It's HORRENDOUS and an affront to good reading material, in my opinion anyway XD

But in a teen romance they wouldn't be split up like that!
I didn't really read it as lovey dovey just more as sad, because its not as if they have really long parting scenes or anything..it just kinda happens?
However I might be kinda biased coz I do love a good romance book XD

I think you're biased. It just really doesn't fit with the general story though. It's like it's randomly tacked on at the end to make the books more appealing to teen girls

I wouldn't have minded if it was left out, but I don't really mind with it in. I really should get a library card so I can go get the next magicians guild book without paying!

I really hate it when people tell you what happens in a book your just about to read even if it is by accident lol When the last harry potter came out I queued up at midnight to get it (coz im that cool XD) and the people in the line in front of me read the last few pages of the book first as soon as they had bought it. Who does something that wrong!!!!! crying I was like noooooooooo crying crying ...so I went and stole a massive harry potter poster from outside the shop and stuck it outside my house when I got home XD ILLEGAL ACTIVITY! xD
