"Rough day at work is a normal for me. This was just....frustrating. I never would have imagined pirates could cause so much trouble." Remus replied to Drathi as he ordered a drink.
"This fracking....space centipede rallied together a god damn fleet.. I'm gonna gouge all six of his eyeballs out...the fracking b*****d."

"Well, pirates are unpredictable," Drathi said, turning another page. "However, I doubt they could be pirates, if they give you this much trouble." He turned a page once more. "Have you heard of Sir Francis Drake, Remus?" He set his book down. "He was something of a pirate--a Privateer. You sure that they are from this galaxy?"
The boy leaned back in his chair and looked at the ceiling, before back at the emperor. "If you have questions, you should ask Emma. She probably met him at one point in her life."

It's been surely a bore for me, The witch Alice thought to herself, clutching into the tavern for some welcoming around her known opponents. Her boots pitched as she sat upon a nearby stool, waiting for a drink.

"Yeah I know about privateering and I've heard about that Drake fellow. I've hired a few scumbags to plunder Lenaar vessels in the past. However, these pirates that I'm fighting have made me out to be the bad guy when they were attacking unarmed merchant vessels in the first place."
Remus took a gulp of his drink. "All I need to do is kill Prulg and mount his head where they can all see it."

"Ah, I see," Drathi muttered, going back to his book, before noticing Alice had entered the room. "Hey, Alice!" he called out from behind his books. "Come look at this! This spell is pretty awesome."

Remus decided to get his drink to go. He slowly stood up and left the tavern. He kind of figured Drathi would be more interested in discussing magic spells with Alice than hear the Imperator rant about the scum of space.
"So long, Drathi. Hello and goodbye, Alice." Remus muttered before walking out the door.

Alice turned around, looking up at the excited Drathi. She stood up and sipped small amounts of red wine. "Yes yes, what is it?" She questioned while giving a polite good-bye wave to Remus.

"Reality Marbles, Alice!" Drathi opened up one of his books. "Remember how we tested that Mana...replenishment... act?" Th boy blushed at te memory. They had promised to never experiment with something like that again. "Apparently this was discovered by the same man. It's a foribidden art and it reflects what the mind of the person is most like... For example..." Drathi flipped to another page of a book. "This guy--" he pointed to a man wearing a red coat with white hair and tanned skin-- "has a Reality Marble called Unlimited Blade Works, because he lived by the sword all his life. Everyone has a different marble and not everyone is able to cast it."

Alice's hands gripped onto the book, leaning her head farther to get a better view. "So you're basically saying all of us has a special ability, even though some unlucky ones can't achieve it? Hmmm." One of her hands flipped the pages, her eyes scanning.

"Pretty much," Drathi replied. "Of course, this thing also requires you to overload yourself with mana... like about ten times the amount you can hold. The only reason these guys were able to use it was because they have this thing called a 'Magic Circuit.'" Drathi flipped to the page explaining it. "There are some magi out there who control the amount of magic they use with these. If overloaded, stuff like this can happen."

"Were they born with it or had to train it?" Alice asked while starring down at the book. Her eyes widen slightly.

"Well, they inherited it, if I recall correctly," Drathi said. "The drawback is these magi can specialize in only one form of magic. That guy I showed you earlier-- he could only specialize in making his Reality Marble." He sighed. "In a way, it's hopeless to try and awaken our own Reality Marbles, but you can learn so much from them."

Nyrk walked into the Tavern, partially for a moment to gather his strength, and partially to check on the barkeeper's ailment. When Nyrk noticed Drathi at the bar as well, his manners came back to him, and Nyrk smiled his humble smile, thanking the ice mage for the notable battle earlier that day. "Did not intend to leave so early, but I had just shot my last bolt out. This is the first time we've met out of the battledome?"

After Drathi was done speaking, Alice thought for a moment. Tick tock, time went by. And then a sudden spark of conclusion came. "I assume you're... trying to find your own Marble of Ice? We could try practicing magic tomorrow, you know."

"I believe that our team up was the first time we've met inside of it too," Drathi said, extending a hand. He had to admit, he was rather intimidated by the menacing garb that Nyrk wore. "Drathi--traveler, magician, and Ice mage."
He turned back to Alice and smiled. "I'd be glad to practice with ya. However, it's more that I want to see if I can replicate this in my own form."
