I won't go see it...when Time Magazine calls something the Worst Movie Ever, and that is a direct quote, I think I can wait until it is streamable on Netflix before I invest the time. haha.
On an unrelated note, I finally got a post out for Kerri, will be working on one for Raine when I get off work and hopefully will not miss too much when I go on vacation for a week on Friday. I always have to go on vacation in the middle of the fun story lines, but make it back for the combat-ridden ones. haha

Maybe it is just because I spend too much time on social media stuff, but EVERYTHING I have heard about the movie has been negative. The names is the biggest one, but I heard the plot line sucks and that it doesn't really stay true to the feel of the original. Have to say that the graphics looked interesting enough, but good special effects does not a good movie make. Look at 2012...

Now now I rather enjoyed 2012... Did Avatar have a big twist? roflmao. M Night Shala-whatever directed it. His movies have just been going down hill. I think he's in a rut. He needs to fix it or find a new career.

It wasn't that I necessarily disliked the movie, but it was more special effects than actual substance. And they killed Woody Harrelson, which is just unacceptable.
I don't remmeber who said it, but they called it the movie of "thank god I wasn't standing there 10 seconds ago." After watching it, that made me laugh. haha

Mariana Saravan so what is that show about? ---btw, I apologize for my crappy post...words just refused to come until I forced them. The Stargate Command is running a project on a planet that's basically a giant nuclear power plant. They need the energy to unlock more mysteries of the gate. A kid solves the equation that was inserted into a game he was playing. Solving him allowed him onto the ship. They are on the planet when the Allucian alliance attacks, they rush and go through the stargate, they unlock the secret which takes them to an Ancient Ship. (Ancient being the species creating the stargates) They are currently on the other side of the galaxy (from Earth) and they don't have control of the ship, and that is their current goal. @Nim Yeah SGU won't be back till october

Noelle liked avatar but she's six..... of course the first thing she says to me is: "Mom is name is AANG not AHNG." Sokka was also wrong. Cripes, Avatar was pronounced wrong. I was kind of jacked to begin with.
Now, I can get over the fact that the kid actors weren't the best. The kid that plays Sokka was the closest to being remotely good. But when the adult actors blow you know the director is bad. The levity, fun, and general reason why you love the series is absolutely gone. You feel no attachment to the characters at all. Everything is RUSHED and dark. Zukko is emo and angsty not filled with that turmoil and anger that made him believable and made you want to care about his story. This movie Zukko (who is barely scarred BTW) you just want to tell to go lay on your lawn and cut it.

I wouldn't say they pronounced the names wrong they were just different. I only say this because they pronounced the names how they're actually spelled, which was dumb. I don't know how the writers decided that the audience would not be mad. I was just mad at the editing and the level of special effects. When Aang went into the Avatar state over his dead monk friends, Katara walked right into his squall of wind and her hair stayed in one place! That pissed me off.

I don't like the way the actress that plays Katara looks, her lips are WAYYYY too big.
On another note I still feel pretty bad, I may flesh my post out, but with my copy of APB being here and my not feeling well don't really look too much into it.

I apologize for the monster post, but I had a lot to catch up on. Hope it's alright...I am exhausted and getting ready for vacation, which is taking up all my spare time. Thank god for meetings that take the entire office away while I am left behind. haha
