he smirked, "im good. i tihnk i was just pushing to low down on the book case before. its all good i promise," he twirled to show her he was fine and dust flew everywhere. after he was done coughing he began putting all the gear back on and said, "seems we might have broken in a ruined library of a city or in the home of a wealthy private citizen."

Zahar shivered at the thought. That much dust and decay must mean they were masks longer then she had thought. She looked down at the boy as she signed, Does it appear to be safe up there? And where has the Ro- I mean Mavrick gone? Her eyes glanced around after saying that to see if she could see the rodent.

he shruged, "i dont know where he is actually. he looked up the stairs and yelled, "Mav!," and waited. the ROUS poked its head in the doorway, "well that answers that question, and i suppose answers the saftey question as well." he finished putting the gear back on and turned to zahar, "ready to go above ground?"

What about the boy. We cannot leave him here. Her eyes looked shocked. One and pointed at the mask child as she talked to SK with the other. If you would like I could take some of the supplies and you could carry him. Unfortunatly I cannot myself or I would. Her eyes fell slightly. My hip would not allow it at this time.

he chuckled, "surely you didnt think id leave the boy here. i was simply asking you if you were ready, " he leaned over and scooped up the boy and went up the stairs and out in to the library and looked back to her and waited for zahar to come out and join him.

She moved up the stairs slowly after SK. Well I just... Zahar looked around the old room and shook her head. It was still light out and she dropped her magical glow. It feels good to be out in the light again. She moved into the sun and closed her eyes basking in it. Taking a few deep breaths in she opened her eyes again and smiled at SK. Thank you for getting me out. I would have been stuck down there for who knows how long had I been alone.

he looked around, and noted that the one wall was missing and that there was a door leading into another room and it looks as though there was a stair well in the other room and that was all he could see besides the the dirty torn carpet. he looked to the broken wall and knew that that was roughly the way back to town, "let us go back to your base camp ok? we can come back here i will be able to remember the way."

That would be wise. Then possibly someone may be able to help with the child. Is there anything you would like me to take or is there somewhere you would like to check out before heading back? Zahar's mood seems to have lifted, just from getting back into the open air. Mavrick was curiously sniffing around the shadows as SK and Zahar stood in the ruined building. She absently ran her eyes over the surroundings trying to remember this place.

he nudged zahar with his shoulder gently and began walking out of the hole in the wall coming out in to an elaborate court yard with fountains over grown with ivy and a garden that was over grown with weeds due to centuries of being left untended. he looked around and gauged direction via the sun, "its roughly that way," he pointed in a southern direction, "let us go. and he bagan walking in the direction zahars samll village.

Zahar hurried to catch up to SK, not wanting to get lost. She continued to breath in the fresh air, and every time the sunlight hit her it seemed that her skin shimmered in the light. It feels good to be in the sun again. What do you suppose we will do when we get back to the village? Do you have a plan? She almost looked nervous to go back. Zahar didn't know how long they had been gone but she hoped things were still ok.

he pondered this for a bit and then spoke, "well i was thinking we would take you back and i would go and build a place for me to stay oposite side of the river but near your village. i have the spot all picked out. from when i was circling the camp monitoring your actions to determine weather you all could be friend or foe."

But what about the boy? Surely you should think of something to do with him. How will you wake him if he remains asleep? Do you know where he would stay? Just from her mannerisms it seemed she was almost jealous but she would not look him in the eyes. If you needed any help with anything... You should know the land almost better then myself, but I could help cook or repair clothing. She looked at her own tattered dress in the open light. It really hadn't looked so bad in the tunnels had it?

"well i thought the boy might be able to stay out with me, unless he chooses otherwise. i wont baby him. as for the sleeping thing. i have no idea, but he should awaken if i had to guess. you are welcome at any time and part of your training will be to help me with the building of my place. as it will be good for your body to go through a few rigors you have not gone through before."

Building... Her skin paled slightly on her neck and around her eyes. Surely you do not mean that I would help you cut things, and hammer, and such... Zahar almost looked scared at the thought. I cannot lift the boy let alone wooden plankes, or stones. I am sorry to let you down... I just am not made for that kind of work.

he looks at her and his face was serious, "there more to building the heavy lifting. trust me and you will learn many things about your self you did not know before. i am asking you for help. you are entitled to decline of course, and if things become to to difficult you can just tell me. i concider it a part of training and..."
"where am i," a weak voice echoed through his head and he looked down to see the boy blinking. he stopped in his tracks and lay the boy gently on the ground and knelt over him, "Zahar, he awakens"
